Hope it’s not too early to start this! For anyone trying in May, and “out” for April.

By some miracle I did fall pregnant this month after over a year TTC but it ended in a chemical just before 5 weeks. I’d tried some new things last cycle (inc baby aspirin and L’arginine, using preseed and doing a daily morning walk!) so going to try all of that again this month and keep my fingers crossed 🤞🏻 don’t know when I’ll ovulate yet but I imagine it’ll be right at the end of April…

I’m just putting my DS to bed and then going out for drinks with my friend after a rough week. Will be my last time drinking this cycle and hopefully for a while! I think I’m on the last day of AF today 😬😬

SureLook · 02/05/2025 19:45

Enjoy @Bas27 🍾🥂

Hi
Just an update... I had a confirmed early loss yesterday morning unfortunately 😔it seems to have happened naturally so at least don't need any medical intervention...
Crazy maybe but I'm thinking of ttc asap though they recommend waiting until my period resumes but doesn't seem to be any medical reasons around that.
So joining May ttc and seeing how things progress....

FigPig · 03/05/2025 08:50

Oh @Samsi17 I’m so sorry. Fingers crossed for this month. I hope you’re okay.

I am 8dpo and have had BFPs on a FRER and Clearblue Ultra Early. Cautiously excited although nervous of another chemical since I’ve found out so early…

2Sugars2 · 03/05/2025 09:00

@Samsi17 I'm so sorry to hear that. Sending love.

Ooo @FigPig this is exciting.. keeping everything crossed for you 🤞🏼🤞🏼

I'm 1DPO so officially in the TWW now...

How is everyone doing?

I'm 7DPO and on 100 million vitamins (suggested by fertility expert after multiple losses) and have started on progesterone pessaries. The progesterone mimics pregnancy so I def feel pregnant. Going to try and hold out until 14 DPO until testing, I get really obsessed trying to find a line where there isn't one 😂so I'm going to try and be really strict and wait til next weekend.

FlyHighSky72 · 03/05/2025 09:18

Sorry to hear that @Samsi17- sending lots of gentle hugs! Ooo exciting @FigPigkeep us posted. Sending baby dust @2Sugars2

hopingfor4 · 03/05/2025 11:09

Sorry to hear of your loss @Samsi17
Technically 10dpo (according to Premom haven’t used ovulation tests yet) tested negative this morning. Still early so I’m holding out hope, due on AF Wednesday.
if we don’t catch this cycle we’ll be going into cycle 4. So I think I’ll start using ovulation tests. It all happened so quickly with my other 3 so this time round I’m feeling quite down about it all.

FlyHighSky72 · 03/05/2025 12:16

Sending you lots of luck @hopingfor4! Fingers crossed you just ovulated a bit later than the apps predicted!

im looking like I’ll ovulate in the next few days - OPKs getting darker and had some EWCM this morning

Renee33 · 03/05/2025 13:47

Hi all I can finally provide an update as I joined this thread way before my cycle started. So I am CD 7 and TTC #3. I used to take the simple boots Vit D and Folic acid but switchEd to ProCeive a couple of months ago but to be honest I’m think I might go back. I should be ovulating sometime during the week of the 12th May. So yeah we shall see if this cycle is the one! I conceived my first born first cycle and second was a surprise so first again I guess and I’m hoping it’s the same this time around, however I’m a little older (mid 30s) so who knows 🤷‍♀️

FlyHighSky72 · 03/05/2025 13:58

Why might you go back @Renee33? I take Proceive plus as I’m over 35 but this is my first cycle too

Thomsonetthompson · 03/05/2025 14:03

So sorry @Samsi17! I tried straight after my mc, waiting would have been way too hard. I figured if here was not a thick enough lining it wouldn't implant anyway so no harm in trying.

Thank you. Were you successful quickly?
I feel the same that waiting would be too difficult. I've stopped bleeding so going to start trying to track ovulation in a few days and see what happens.

SureLook · 03/05/2025 16:09

@Samsi17 I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. How many weeks were you? There is no science that shows any difference between waiting for your period or starting to TTC again straight away. The main reason is so they can more accurately date a future pregnancy by going off your LMP. However, for me after my loss I wanted to be as certain as possible of dates so there was no worry over baby's measurements. I needed that reassurance and accuracy. I didn't conceive straight away again obviously but I didn't want to leave anything uncertain.

@FigPig amazing news! Praying for a sticky bean 🤞🏻

@2Sugars2 hopefully the TWW goes by quickly!

@TruthUnwinding I haven't ovulated yet. I'm properly tracking with OPKs this month cause I think my luteal phase is shorter since my MMC. Fingers crossed for 14dpo for you 🤞🏻

@hopingfor4 I'm the same, caught first time with my previous two pregnancies so this is a different experience!

That's great @FlyHighSky72 👏🏻

@Renee33 best of luck!

Thanks, that is what I'd been seeing also. They just advised to get a negative test first if I do see I'm ovulating. I tested this morning and was a very v faint positive line so I'm hoping it's not too long. I thought I was 6 weeks but they measured me at 5 the day I started bleeding...

SureLook · 03/05/2025 16:45

@Samsi17 I tested negative two weeks after so hopefully you won't be too long!

Bas27 · 03/05/2025 16:57

@Samsi17I'm sorry to hear you’re going through this. No advice (sorry!) but sending sympathy.
@2Sugars2i think I may have misunderstood where we are cycle wise! I’m nowhere near anywhere DPO - AF still in the building!!
@FlyHighSky72i saw your earlier comment - don’t apologise! This is the place to get this all out!!!
@FigPig😬😬😬 tentative congrats!!

Anyone else joining me on CD6?
I'm thinking at least this next part is the more active part where there’s something to do!! 😂
I hate the waiting.

I'm only on my second month post-mc but didn't conceive that first cycle. Everything I read said it was just for dating purposes - I guess because not everyone tracks ovulation - surely dating a pregnancy when you know how many Dpo you are is simple?

Samsi17 · 03/05/2025 18:55

SureLook · 03/05/2025 16:45

Thank you. Was it 2 weeks after the first day of bleeding do you mind me asking?

SureLook · 03/05/2025 19:00

@Samsi17 I don't mind at all! I actually had a D&C so the hospital advised that I should be negative within two weeks and to contact them if not.

Thank you. I'm sorry you had a loss also. I didn't know much information until this week when I went through it tbh and it's just been awful. They said to do a test in 3 weeks but I think I'll ovulate before so going to try again in a few days.
I'm keen to get pregnant again soon but also think it'll be full of new anxiety now this has happened...

SureLook · 03/05/2025 20:09

@Samsi17 Thank you, it really is awful. I'm the same, very keen to be pregnant again but I'm dreading the anxiety I'm going to feel. Like @Thomsonetthompson said, if you track ovulation then you can be sure of dates 😊

FlyHighSky72 · 03/05/2025 20:17

Sending love @SureLookand @Samsi17- this is todays OPK I know it’s not as dark as the control yet but progress!!

Hi again everyone, still in Spain, but pink discharge is no longer. Only lasted a day. Nausea back in full swing, mood swings are awful the last couple of days. seems that every night my nausea kicks in at 5:30. Like clockwork, so crazy. Had a mocktail earlier, Berry Smash and was full of cranberries and raspberries etc, it was sour and really strong. As soon as the clock hit 5:30, I felt as though I needed to go sick, ran upstairs of a posh club in Marbella and went sick everywhere!!!!! No word of a lie, a cranberry shot out of my nose. Amongst all of the affluent people with their Louis Vuitton bags and Balenciaga trainers, I looked like an absolute lemon. 🤣🤣🤣
