I do, I have a hubby-wubby-lubby-dubby

Medised?

kayzisexpecting · 21/05/2008 22:11

He has had some calpol as he is teething.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 21/05/2008 22:13

Same here, DS2 slavering everywhere, sore bum, high temp, hate him having a temp. can never relax again properly till it is all gone.

kayzisexpecting · 21/05/2008 22:15

He doesn't have a temp luckily but he is just so grumpy and there is slobber everywhere.

calsworld · 21/05/2008 22:17

Final post before bed - slavering is a good word, DS's t-shirts are all soaked as if he has been on long run but in fact is just HUUUUUGGE dribble patch!

G'night guys. I'm back at work tomorrow so probably won't be on b4 tomorrow night.

Have fun all.

kayzisexpecting · 21/05/2008 22:19

Night Cal

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 21/05/2008 22:21

G'night sweetie xxx

I am off as well, gonna get into bed, not waiting for DH, I'm normally asleep at least an hour ago!

See you all tomorrow xxx

kayzisexpecting · 21/05/2008 22:22

Night,

I'll be going when penalties finish!!

Diege · 21/05/2008 22:32

Hello!!! dh engrossed in penalities so just popping on to say good night . Did the deed (no, not just finished ) but EWM seems to have gone after beign here this morning, so think this is a dry run so to speak...
Lovely to see everyone so happy!! Look forward to posting properly tomorrow when working from home!

kayzisexpecting · 22/05/2008 07:16

Morning,

DS was ill again last night. It was horrible. I was very nearly a bad mummy and left him for DH as he was due home in 5 minutes but I didn't. I wish I had though as I threw up. Its hard throwing up while trying to look after a ill baby.

He did go on to sleep all night. We're going to get him some different food as the 2 days he has had new food he has been ill.

Hope everyone is ok.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 22/05/2008 07:41

Morning

Diege, I want a GOF.....

Don't write off last night though because of dry CM, don't forget the egg survives for 24 hours.

Kay, DS2 temp is still up, not his usual cheery self, but not 'ill' either, think it is just his teeth bless him. Crappy being sick

So who won last night then? Forgot to ask DH.

kayzisexpecting · 22/05/2008 08:03

Man Utd!! BOO HISS!!

DS is his normal self just with horrible nappies.

I didn't sleep much last night though and I have to go to work. Luckily only for 4 hours though.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 22/05/2008 08:08

Thought they must have done else DH would have said this morning. He hates Man Utd, with a passion, being a Bolton supporter.

Can you get a quick nap before work?

Diege · 22/05/2008 08:10

Morning Nat . I would happily trade in my gofs for a good sleep/chocloate/money, but I suppose they won't get me a bfp! Just soooo tired at the moment, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel at work, so feeling my energy returning! Hope ds 2 is ok .
Aww Kay that's rotton - it is sooo hard looking after sick LOs, esp when pregnant.
Well had a lovely dat at work yesterday. My birthday isn't till next week, but the students are on skivereading week then and they got wind of it. Sooo, I got 2 cakes, a very large orchid, flowers, smellies, and had lunch out too with collegues. Had the embarrassment of the cake brought over with fanfare etc in restaurant, and then had to stand in front of class while they all sang me happy birthday. Seemed to go on forever, was v..
On the downside we have had to cancel my weekend away in York, as friend has done something serious to her back . Hoping to reschedule, but you know when you've been looking forward to something for months...
Anyway, onwards and upwards! Still grinning thinking about you Nat!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 22/05/2008 08:15

Oh no, that's rotten about the weekend, am LOLing at your though - sorry!

Any chance of you and DH going away for the weekend instead? Or is that *pointless^ now?

Will be back probably after school run, DS2 is still in his high chair, DS1 is dancing around the living room nekkid, I haven't finished getting ready.... school mornings hey?!

tinkwantstobearockstar · 22/05/2008 08:23

morning you saucy minxes

Diege · 22/05/2008 09:22

Morning TINKS . Nat, you sum up school morning perfectly! Are you looking forward to the half term?? . We have two weeks to endure enjoy here, so am able to work from home first week, but we will have to try and sort of childcare between us for the second. Will be nice to have a break from the monring chaos though .
No cance of me and dh getting away, as family won't baby sit and never have for more than a few hours in the evening. Hoping to reschedule for the weekend of the 13th June though, so will look forward to that

Squack · 22/05/2008 09:27

God I'm soooo pleased we don't do school runs anymore.

Mine are building a city out of wooden blocks and brio. Looks bloody good I have to say!

LO is doing his very best "Godzilla attacks Townsville impression" complete with raar-ing

They're making up ridiculous songs as they build, pmsl at them

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 22/05/2008 09:27

LOL Tink, aren't you used to BB us by now?!!

Half term, I always look forward to the holidays having perfect fantasies about picnis and sea sides, but in reality it is always raining and we end up doing something at home, again....

Am with you with the babysitting thing, MIL wouldn't even have DS2 yesterday with all that was going on.

13th june, isn't expected OV time is it? Unless your good friend is a bloke.....? LOL

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 22/05/2008 09:29

LOL Morning Squack, I can see the advantages of Home Ed. Plenty of MN time Plenty of good family times and all that...

Diege · 22/05/2008 09:40

Ooh Nat I hadn't thought of that...have just worked it out and if this cycle is 28 days , 13th June will be day 9. Should be ok, as my cycles are usually 28-30 days long. Phew! .
Hi Squack! Didn't realise you did home schooling...wow, am in awe! When do you get a break from them then?

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 22/05/2008 09:48

Looks like I am set for a day on the sofa with dirty dancing, cocktail, and pretty woman, DS2 is poorly

Oh blardy hell, that means I am going to be eating chocolate and shite all day, such a hard life...!

Squack · 22/05/2008 09:51

when I hide somewhere and wait for them to find me lol

it's fab now we're all used to it.

Some days are dead easy, some dead hard. With the lack of sleep I got last night i'm anticipating a hard one today, but so far so good.

We're off to the library today, then shops for some groceries and we'll see what the afternoon brings, though Dh left instructions to go water in the Nematodes today so maybe the allotment later.

What's everyone up to?

Btw I have to mn on a laptop, that is almost permanently connected to the net all day, as I pass it on the table. I press threads I'm on and go do something, glance on my way back and maybe add a message if I've got time.

At about 3pm, the baby is usually asleep and the other 2 preoccupied with tv something educational for an hour and I get to sit down and MN.

I often wory that people might think I MN all day but I wish don't

How do those of you at work manage to be on during the day? Are you allowed or is covert and sneaky hehe?

Moosma · 22/05/2008 10:02

I have it open on the computer in the kitchen nearly all day too Squack! I try to keep away, but I find myself using it as a reward system, if I do something useful (washing, hoovering etc), I get to sit down and MN for a few minutes

Sorry about the poorly DS's, hope they're better soon, sicky babies are just yuck DD2 woke up at midnight screaming so I went and picked her up, then when I went to put her down she screamed again and clung to me so tightly. In the end I had to push her in to her cot while she clung to the edge with her toes, then I stroked her back until she fell asleep. Then she did it again at 2.30am I think it's her teeth too, she has 2 trying to come through

I know what, let's have a virtual calpol party!

Diege · 22/05/2008 10:02

Squack, that actually sounds really good! Am quite ; must be lovely to do things are their/your own pace too, and not be steamrollared into someone else schedule!
Snap with laptop! Mine is on the kitchen table and Thursdays/Fridays/weekend is on almost all the time . Mon-wed I get little time to get on MN as work pretty hectic (have my own office so wouldn't need to sneak on ), then Thursday is work from home day , so obviously here constantly .
Nat, sorry about ds2 ; however, silver lining and all that, sounds like you have a great day planned .
Btw, think that programme about big families is on tonight? '13 and rising' or something like that? Love that sort of thing!
