@Wednesdayonline seems like we are on the same schedule ish! Excuse the timing of my reply my two year old has just vomited all over the bed we share. Whose idea was another child?!? 😂

Mummy1502 · 23/02/2025 13:55

Is there anyone still on here from the original thread? I’ve not caught up on messages as just been going with the flow and not obsessing this month so congratulations if there is anyone on here with a bfp, I hope everyone is doing well xx

Hello! Long time lurker, first time poster lol! I was wondering if anyone had any advice for me please. I am 33 y/o F and I’ve been trying to conceive my first baby since August 2024 with no joy. I have been using easy at home OPKs and I normally get my LH peak around CD day 16, last month my peak was CD 19. My cycle is usually 29/30 days long with a 12 day luteal phase and my period is always very regular. However in November I was unable to detect a peak with my opks despite regular testing and it’s the same this month so far, despite me starting OPK testing on CD 11 twice a day. Today is CD 22 and I’ve still had no peak and low LH readings. The months I get my peak it usually stays high for about a day, so I am pretty sure I haven’t missed it. Could it be anovulation or just late ovulation? I am worried incase something is wrong. Any advice would be so appreciated. Thank you!

Could possibly late, I remember on the other thread a lot of us were in the same boat, but also a peak can be hard to catch, I’m under recurrent miscarriage clinic and they told me as long as I am having a period I will be ovulating xx

BeHappyPeachShark · 23/02/2025 15:07

@mummy1502 That is really reassuring to hear, thanks so much for coming back to me. Perhaps it’s possible that peaks can be easily caught one month, and surge the following month? I’m honestly not sure lol, talk about an emotional rollercoaster. Hope you’re doing well xx

Im good thankyou, i didnt track or anything this month as we have been trying since we had mmc in june 2023 and no hope, im due on today so we will see but last month i got my hopes up and it shattered me
again so im just going with the flow, if it happens it happens if it doesn’t it doesn’t xx

BeHappyPeachShark · 23/02/2025 15:38

@Mummy1502 I have everything crossed for you that this is your month. It really is so consuming and you’ve been through a lot! Looking back at my Premom app, I didn’t start testing twice a day until around CD 16 this month and didn’t start testing at all until CD 14 in November - so very possible I just missed my peaks. I feel like I BD less when I am tracking as I am constantly waiting for a surge to time it right (which is totally ironic considering it’s meant to give you more of a chance!). I might just take your advice and go with the flow next month, as would probably be giving myself more opportunities to get pregnant that way than waiting for a positive OPK and getting bogged down with POAS lol. Sending you lots of luck xx

Thankyou, yea you defo could have missed it, maybe just go with the flow if this isn’t your month I hear people say it all the time and it does work, I find it just puts more stress on things when I track, when af arrived last month I was so upset and then googling every possible way of helping conception, vitamins, diets, you name it I looked but then I just thought you know what it really is just luck of the draw, plenty of people who don’t take anything, have a rubbish diet etc can still fall pregnant the same as those who are super healthy, I’ve been on both ends too and fallen pregnant (we have 4 kids already) my third I was actually the heaviest and unhealthiest I’d ever been, my son I was super healthy gym etc and the lightest I’ve ever been, so to me now I just think oh well il just continue with my healthy diet and focus on myself and see what happens, we had a lovely weekend at a hotel this weekend for our daughters birthday so have been really chill, sending you lots of luck too, your not out until af arrives, il keep you updated and let you know if af arrives for me today, tomorrow it will officially be late xx

BeHappyPeachShark · 23/02/2025 20:31

@Mummy1502 Aw I’m so glad you had a lovely weekend! Just what the doctor ordered! I really hope AF stays away for you, keeping my fingers crossed! Yes please do keep me posted - Here’s hoping for some good news soon for us both! Xx

I have just started spotting so af will be here over night by the looks of it, onto the next month for me but I hope you get some good news this month xx

rhirhibumblebee · 24/02/2025 11:23

How is everyone? My AF is due this time next week so I'm fully in the two week wait 😭😭. I did a test this morning, I told myself not to! Obviously BFN. I don't know why I do it to myself and just wait!

Wednesdayonline · 24/02/2025 13:47

AF arrived today, a day early :( feeling awful so giving myself a few days to wallow and then onto next month.

lynzmb · 24/02/2025 13:48

I just did one at 6dpo @rhirhibumblebee whyyyyy 🤦🏻‍♀️

Room4onemore · 24/02/2025 15:18

Hi ladies, haven’t been on for a bit but would you say my Premom is wrong? 1.6 on my test strip today

@lynzmb why do we do it 😭😭🤦🏼‍♀️. I'm banning myself til Friday! Let me know how you get on 🤞🏻

@Wednesdayonline sorry to hear! You've got this xx

@Room4onemore I actually have no idea! Sorry!

curliegirlie · 24/02/2025 16:15

@Room4onemore yes. That's why I hate PreMom sometimes - it can stick resolutely to its predictions in the face of all data that you input! There may be a way to adjust that in the settings. I find Fertility Friend much more responsive and accurate though.

MrsGingerCat · 25/02/2025 13:55

Hey to those of us that are left this month🙂
AF is due in the next couple of days. I can't believe that I've actually held out on testing during the TWW this time... there's a first time for everything I suppose!
Starting for feel some very very light cramping. Although it likely is AF around the corner, I'm still holding out hope 🙏

rhirhibumblebee · 25/02/2025 16:50

@MrsGingerCat well done for waiting! I wish I had the willpower! Wasted another FRER today at 8dpo 😓. When will you test?

MrsGingerCat · 25/02/2025 21:54

@rhirhibumblebee Thanks! It was hard and the first time I managed to do it.
Ah, don't beat yourself up. My Cousin was trying also and called them hope sticks, when I said I was wasting them during the TWW she told me I wasn't, I was just hoping and there's nothing wrong with that 😊
I'll test Thursday morning if no sign of AF by then, although I feel like she's imminent 😔

rhirhibumblebee · 26/02/2025 08:14

@MrsGingerCat that's a lovely way to think of it! Good luck 🤞🏻

Brushbun · 26/02/2025 09:31

Hello! 33 Year Old mum to two. TTC for about a year (but that was in 2023, no luck at all) starting up again as we feel we aren’t “done” and will have one last push to expand our family. We have a 9 and a 7 year old so will be a big gap between siblings.

My OPK started to peak yesterday afternoon and peaked strong late evening (25th). CD13 for me. Going to be a good girl and wait to test on the 13th March which is when AF is due. (Hopefully I can stay strong)

Anyone else in a similar date cycle to me?

Lynnloou · 27/02/2025 07:56

Morning All! Ended up here while over googling 🙈 which can mean only one thing, I'm in the dreaded TWW.
TTC our 2nd at 39!
Currently 6/7 DPO the past 2 nights I've woke to pee at 3am ish, leading to little sleep from that point, as of course I'm overthinking the fact I'd to get up to use the loo.
Very mixed views on if this is an early symptom.
Anyone experienced this before a BFP?

rhirhibumblebee · 27/02/2025 08:31

Hey! I'm 10dpo ish today and got a BFN. I have had such sore boobs I was sure I'd get a BFP by now 😓. I know there's still time but not feeling hopeful now!

Irishstout · 27/02/2025 09:32

I'm 10dpo. Premom thinks AF is due today but I think I normally have a longer cycle. Premom only has last months cycle for data which was all over the place because I was really unwell.

I'm no imagining that second line am I?!
