I am cautious but hopeful - I have held my phone torch at enough 100% totally stark white BFN I know a pink shadow when I see one 😂

I am going to try to forget about it until later this week and not mention to DH. The CP was hard on us both so no point yet x

Still no AF for me yet and no AF symptoms either 🤷🏼‍♀️ still going to hold off on testing till at least the weekend if she doesn't make her appearance. These weeks are so long!! Congratulations to the recent ladies with their BFPs 😊 xx

Just done a test and couldn't believe it - a BFP. AF is two days late and took one the day before she was due and it was stark white so was expecting the same again. It was a clear blue 6 days early but line came up straight away. I'm quite anxious as had a chemical in December so had a line but then not pregnant on a digital then started bleeding a few days later. So I'm worried the same will happen again. I read about it BFPs don't show up early it can mean not enough hcg for viable pregnancy so a bit worried about that. I guess only time will tell. I should do a digital I guess to confirm things either way

@Sunshine924 seems we're in the same boat - also had a CP in December and now BFP. Try not to worry - for now you are pregnant. HCG is different in every person at baseline and every pregnancy implants at different times etc. The most common cause for a CP is a poor genetic embryo and that's totally random - nothing to do with when you get your BFP xx

@MakeMeJuno yes I read your post. Thanks for replying and your reassuring words it's so hard isn't it as we just don't know what can happen. I guess just have to do one day at a time. Have you told your DH yet? Where are you now in terms of your cycle?

Oh wow, congratulations! I caved and did one yesterday and it was stark white. So now you've given me some hope! I have a Clear Blue 6 days early digital in my cupboard so I'm just going to hold off until Friday and then if she hasn't appeared I will use that. I did feel ever so slightly crampy last night though, so I am convinced she's going to appear at some point today. We will see! I'm so happy for you!! X

At what point do you take a digital test?

I haven’t tested at all yet as AF was supposed to arrive yesterday and I’ve had a lot of cramping so I am expecting it to come.
But Flo says to test tomorrow if no period so if it doesn’t come, I was going to do a cheap one I have in the drawer and then a second one a few days later if it still hasn’t arrived.

This is my first month of trying so all very new to me!

Congratulations @Sunshine924 and @MakeMeJuno fingers crossed! Period very much arrived today but ready for the next cycle. Just wondering what everyone is doing to increase their chances? We've started using the SMEP method and we both take a good vitamin and coq10. Anything I'm missing?

I'm in the exact same boat as you. I think I'm going to try and wait until Friday. Something is telling me AF is going to arrive today. I had mild cramping last night, and a little bit today but nothing like when AF comes. I almost talked myself into testing earlier but stopped myself 🤣 I had a stark white negative yesterday, but I could've ovulated later than I thought and I feel in which case, a 6 day early digital will provide me with the correct answer on Friday if AF still hasn't come. But who knows in the game!! X

@Sunshine924 AF isn't due until the weekend so I am super early. Did another test today and line is clear, so am cautiously optimistic. I will do a digital on Friday all being well and then tell DH so we can enjoy the news hopefully, or commiserate as needed!

11dpo and digital was negative for me today. was the only test the shop had and i had a call saying i needed to go in for nuclear scans tomorrow which is obviously unsafe if i am pregnant. i rushed and did it so urine wasnt very concentrated. im hoping they will test before scans tomorrow which im sure they will but you do guys reckon im out😔

Not necessarily as at 11dpo, you may not have implanted yet or may have only just implanted. In which case the hcg hormone will struggle to show up on a digital. Ideally you'd need a frer or some other kind of early response pink dye test. They may not do the scan if you feel there's a chance you could be pregnant.

Alright I ended up taking a test in the end and it’s negative but the negative line isn’t full? Like the middle part is missing…is this negative or is it a dodgy test and I should test again tomorrow?

@MakeMeJuno congrats I am so pleased for you. I had the same on a digital yesterday. Still very nervous and dont want to jump ahead. It's weird too as I don't have many obvious symptoms. When I had my son I didn't test until a week after AF was late and then the next day morning sickness hit me like a bus. This time it's weird knowing earlier but not actually feeling pregnant.

@Sunshine924 congrats on your digital! I was the same in my last pregnancy, too. Tested a week and a day after AF was due, but had an early scan a couple of weeks later and was measuring almost a week behind. This is partly the reason I think I may be testing negative as I ovulate later than I think so it takes longer to show up. But that could be me giving myself false hope. I'll find out in a few days I hope! It's just the waiting, it's so frustrating! Xx
