Hi all ☺️ I am now starting Cycle 6 TTC baby number one. I know some of us on January thread said it would be good to set up a Feb thread so thought i’d start it.

I should be ovulating around 17-18th so will be testing on 1st Feb!

Did you test tonight? I did and still nothing
So daft as the earliest I have ever got a BFP was 12 DPO so definitely should wait but its so hard. Plus just once i would like my first positive to be a proper positive so i can feel joy instead of the usual squinting confusion of am i? Arnt I? Is that an indent? Evap? Etc!

I’m in the same situation as you. Peak yesterday with a strong line and today even darker so I’m confused when to count it from 🙃

I've also been waiting for ovulation for what seems like forever! Anyone else 1DPO today?

recently decided to start trying for number 3! Have a 6 and nearly 4 year old .. very nervous but very excited .. our biggest issue is having time ha ha 😝

Me! At least I think so. I have only been using the Flo app to monitor my cycles and ovulation so as long as that's right, I ovulated yesterday. It says I'm due AF on 17th Feb and I normally have 25-28 day cycles. I'm going to test on Valentine's Day as it'll be a lovely present for us as that's our anniversary 🥰 if negative then I'll try and wait until at least 18th/19th xx

We're trying for number 3 too! I have two DC already, 12 & 8 yo and this'll be DP's first, so very exciting for us!

Day 15 here and no sign of my peak. All blank clear blue tests! I've had EWCM for days but it seems to have stopped now. Does anyone know if OPKs could miss the LH surge (it says they are 99% accurate on the box!)

Are you testing morning and evening? My surge is short. If it peaks in morning the test is usually fading by evening and sometimes very light by then

11DPO and tested super early at 5am. Nothing again :(

same here 11dpo and completely negative - you know when its SO negative you can actually see the ident white like its repelled the dye 😭, i do kind of think im out tbh as just feel AF coming on!

@Mumzydarling12 i honestly am the same complete opposite of easy breezy with all this 🤣🤣 i dont know what TTC does to my brain but i think i am a natural planner and stress with unknowns so it really sends me under

@Sunshine924 OPKs can definitely miss the peak. Testing late morning and late afternoon is recommended on my easy@home instruction leaflet because some people's LH surges are short.

Does anyone know how important line progression is? I had another "is it indent, is it positive" yesterday at 13dpo and today I finally got a definite positive line. But it feels way too light for 14dpo! If anything I'm underestimating my DPOs because I had 3 days of peak LH readings. So scared of a chemical. We've only got 3 more months of TTC before we have to stop for a year.

Thanks @DaringlyDizzy @Thomsonetthompson I've done morning and night the past two days. On the box it says to use first morning urine so have been doing first thing
.. maybe I'll get the cheap ones next month! I just thought clear blue would be easier and more obvious.. clearly not. I have started taking proceive this month and I think I read somewhere that can lengthen your cycle?? I'll keep testing just incase and try and DTD tonight and in a couple of days anyway to cover this week... Feel like I shouldn't have wasted £30 now! Never mind!

I think the official advice is a line is a line but don’t want to invalidate your concern as it is also seems true chemicals can be slow to show and poor progression. But crossing everything for you its top option 🤞🤞 xx

@DaringlyDizzy @Floralcat Negative here thismorning as well. Might just wait and see if AF appears on saturday rather than wasting tests

@confusedmum25 aww sorry to hear you are bfn as well so far. Defo the sensible choice to wait, im letting myself use the cheap ones but saving my FRER unless i got a hint of a line on others! X

I always say one thing just after a negative and then find myself testing with FMU

I was so detail orientated regarding TTC, verging on obsessive. Decided to take it the 'what will be will be, just have sex when you feel like it' and went 6 months nearly without a single LH or HCG test. Now that ive started testing again im getting really anal again. Its like i have to be at either extreme!

I think its just soooo hard not to be isnt it as its something we want SO much and most things in life if you really want something and put effort in/ meticulous detail and planning itll all work out- wish TTC worked like that 😭

cd29 and I haven’t had more than a 27 day cycle since DS was born in 2022. I need to test today as have my son at home tomorrow and in laws visiting Thurs and I want to have some time to process the result either way. Really not sure how I feel either way tbh and am getting a bit stressed.

couldNt test with FMU but not sure how long I need to hold a wee for in order to get an accurate test. Any idea?? I’ve got a frer. Went to the loo 6.30am but have had coffee and water since so am busting 😂😂😂

If youve got a FRER and you think you are late 2 hours would be enough. 3 to be safe. Dont drink too much or itll dilute.

Please update us as you getting a BFP will make my day!!

I have a short luteal phase so AF due just before then, but if it hasn't turned up I'll test on the 14th too

Yeah it would be amazing 🥰 we've been together 4 years and have always said we didn't want any of our own DC (I have 2 from my previous marriage). But my coil literally fell out a few months ago and have taken it as a sign. After lots of conversations we've finally decided that we actually really want one and are super excited!!

Ahh we could both potentially get our BFPs on the same day then!! I'm keeping everything crossed for us both!! Xx

I’m a week late now and still no AF but negative tests 😫 I’ve never been this late before not quite sure what’s going on! X
