had convinced myself I was pregnant 😂 am both relieved and disappointed as had not expected to fall this month and was feeling a bit wobbly.

very confused by the late AF though. I think maybe I ovulated a bit late (so absolute earliest I could be I think is 9dpo). Would you expect to see something on a text at 9dpo?

reason I ask is that I’ve a full body Thai massage booked this week and it’s defo not pregnancy friendly 😂

Its quite rare to get a BFP at 9DPO - could defo still be in with a chance!!

Oooh, I didnt think massages had much impact early pregnancy?

Thanks! I think I’ll wait until the weekend and then test again if AF doesn’t arrive in the meantime.

with DS I had a very obvious line at cd30 but it was FMU and my cycles were regular as clockwork.

i don’t think a normal massage is a problem, but this is one where she actually stands on my back so I suspect it’s not a good idea if preg 😂

Hi ladies!

I think I'm 2DPO. I don't do OPKs and have just been tracking on the Flo app. It predicted that I ovulated on Sunday, but I've done an ovulation calculator today and it reckons I'll be ovulating tomorrow 🤷🏼‍♀️ hoping to DTD today to possibly increase my chances this month, but we did it a lot on Thursday and Friday which should hopefully cover us if I did ovulate Sunday 🙈

This is our first month properly TTC. We've got a weekend away booked for next month so I'm not going to stress too much if I don't get my BFP this month, but it still would be lovely all the same!

I've just got my progesterone tests done results - I know they are suppose to be over 30, proves you have ovulated, but not sure if mine are on the high side? Google isn't helpful!
They were 53 at 7dpo 🤷🏻‍♀️

TTC no 2. Day 17 of cycle and still no positive OPK!

Although, I ate a whole bag of Brazil nuts yesterday and I’m now convinced I’ve got selenium poisoning and everything is ruined 🤣

I'm having a second surge by the looks of it 😧 had my peak on OPKs on Friday on CD 17, and today is also a positive on CD21... what's going on?? Cycle is 28/29 days. Anyone else had this?

Welcome to newcomers. @CustardCream31 I don't use OPKs so can't offer any insight I'm afraid, how very strange?

I think I got a BFN with my daughter - can't remember if it was 8 or 9 DPO then got a positive 10DPO with FMU. I think I'm 7DPO today so trying to hold out for the weekend to test

8dpo and of course test is negative. Thought I saw a shadow but obviously line eyes lol. Have some first response coming for Amazon tonight

@DaringlyDizzy you should always tell your massage therapist if you're pregnant, they're not insured before you're 12 weeks. Not enough testing to be sure whether it can effect or not.

Just a heads up if anyone has a Costco card they have clear blue digital pregnancy and ovulation tests a lot cheaper than Amazon.

I actually did last month! Though mine weren't as close as yours. I got a peak but I also temp and had no temp rise to confirm ovulation.

So kept testing and got another peak two weeks later which was then confirmed with a temp rise.

Apparently it can happen if you're sick or stressed. (I was sick). My cycle ended up being 45 days

@CustardCream31 and anyone else interested (my sister is an OBGYN) - OPKs are designed to pick up the FIRST LH surge, which is associated with ovulation. After ovulation LH is still released in surges/pulses, supporting your endometrium and corpus luteum. That is why the kits specify that you are looking for the first surge

My AF is due on Friday and I am praying for a BFP! This TWW is killing me!

Thank you for your reply. Is that the same for the cheap OPK strips though? I can see how the digital ones are set to catch the first surge (I used the clear blue advanced one last year, so it says to stop using after static smile peak).
Just feels odd to have this second surge and I'm not sure when to take as ovulation now - Friday or now?! 🥲😅

I think I did have a temp spike though (but only according to Fitbit baseline tracking and not properly bbt thermometer) on Saturday. But perhaps not reliable to use that.
Watery cm yesterday and today, so maybe this is true ovulation coming.... even longer 2WW then 🤪🥲

Ooooh I amnot a specialist here so I wouldn't like to comment but I know those cheapies can be so variable so it's quite hard to tell!! I would say the best way to know would be when AF arrives as your luteal phase is always the same length, but ofc if you're pregnant AF never arrives! I guess in the latter you'd know from the dates 🤔bit of a mystery! Do you have any other ovulation signs? I do so I would be able to know from that. I have heard sometimes your body had to have several 'goes' at ovulating

I also did, but only for a day (or two?) and then it went back down. It stayed up properly after the second peak.

Yes I took them for months, but I think they messed with my cycle, after research I discovered they have a lot of fillers in so I changed

So I tested negative this morning, from about 5pm ive been constantly at the loo feeling like af has came early but just losts of cm. Feel quite bloated and also feel little ill but theres illness in my family right now.
Earlier I had a really painful shooting pain like i was being stuck with a hot poker ‘up there’😂😂

@carolinep3 oh really- i will see what happens with my cycle and Af starting then- ive had a lot of cramps past few days which isnt typical for me in recent years and defo dont think implantation as tests so negative , so wonder it they could be related to the vitamins as well as only new thing ive done!

Are you due AF at weekend as well @confusedmum25 ? are they different signs from normal? X
