Am I the only girl who'd rather know her fertility week because she doesn't have the energy to DTD every other day ? 😂 I'm truly a dinosaur 🦕

I want to know it, but I feel like I can roughly guess from tracking my BBT for the last 12 months 🤣 I always ovulate CD 14-16 so if I cover 3 days each side I should be fine right? 😂 and then I don’t need to pee on sticks

I lost the previous thread when it ended so h glad I’ve found you again!

I finished my pill last Wednesday after 13 years 🤯 and finally started my withdrawal yesterday! I ended up going for the NC app and have bought some ovulation tests to try and make full use of the NC app - fingers crossed withdrawal ends soon and I can figure out my cycle 🤞

Yess!! My DH has tried to convince me we need to do it EVERY DAY and we’re bound to catch it. I laughed, I definitely do not have the energy for that so peeing on sticks it is 😂 one week is tiring enough!

I have been a silent reader this month trying to learn lots but want to join in the convo! First cycle trying to conceive baby number 1. I have been off the pill for 18 months after 8 years on it, have been trying to get used to my cycle. I generally have 32-34 day cycles and ovulate D18. This month I had a high OPK D17, peak D18 which was Saturday. DTD D15,17,18. Then yesterday I had EWCM!!! I usually get that the day of my peak but I thought I was 3DPO? So DTD again last night. Confused now as to whether I’m 4DPO or 1DPO. Has anyone else had that?

I've been quiet ladies as nothing to report 🤣
It's OPK week (CD11) so I'm just peeing on sticks and taking photos of them currently 😅

Ovulation week officially starts tomorrow according to Flo, so I'm going to continue testing twice a day - Btw what time of day do you all OPK test?

I think my plan is DTD tonight and then every other day until CD15, 16 & 17 which is (hopefully) surrounding my peak. Again...so very romantic 🙈🙈

I'm cd 8 I think or 9! Currently peeing on sticks too but my peak will only be in a week or so !
When I start rising I pee morning and evening ! But I don't have specific times as I noticed that when my lh is high it's high all day so doesn't matter much !

I’m CD8 so started with my clear blue advanced this morning to detect my oestrogen rise to signal I’m in my fertile window but this normally happens CD 10/11.

I’ve read mixed reviews re the time of OPK testing.. typically says not to use FMU. I think as long as you’re testing at roughly the same time each day that’s what’s important. But I’m similar to @Lila34830 in that once mines high it’s normally high for 2 days and I would typically test 2 times a day from CD10/11 to catch my peak. I tend to test in the morning on days I test once and then morning and evening on the days I test twice.

Just wondered if anyone else’s CM is slightly different to their ovulation? I seem to have CM for 4/5 days, then a few days nothing and I ovulate according to my sticks, is this normal??

Hey! I tend to get the EWCM the day before ovulation and ovulation day, and in my fertile week it’s quite watery and clear. Not sure if this is what you mean? Typically in your fertile week and around ovulation you will have a lot more CM that at any other time in your cycle. If you don’t get a lot, there are lubricants people use (sperm safe ones) to replicate it x

I couldn’t believe that standard lubes kill sperm 🤣 I seriously thought it was just a load of rubbish when I first read it on here then I googled it and was like omg as if! I’ve learnt so much on this ttc journey 😂

I have a bit of a TMI question but I genuinely do not know where else to go 😅

Does anyone have information on the science behind..keeping the ejaculate..um..secure.. 🤣🤣
I feel like my body isn't keeping it inside enough time for the sperm to get on their way.
It's literally leaving my body as soon as I move.
(I can't believe im actually asking this openly on the Internet) 😳😳😳

I'm just hopeful someone else knows what I'm talking about.

I went for a smear a few years ago and the nurse had mentioned in passing that she was struggling to get the speculum in place because there was a "flap of skin" at the entrance of my uterus and I'm now worried that's acting as a barrier 🥲

Anyway...I hope everyone is having a nice Friday (and I haven't just ruined it completely) 😅😅

Evening if everybody says it does not matter and does not change the odds, I still lie on my back legs up for a bit after intercourse 😂
But I wouldn't not worry, sperm travels very fast up there apparently !

I actually wonder if this affects me aswell, but because I’m sadly a UTI prone girly, I will absolutely end up with one if I don’t go pee after sex. So I darent just lay there!

Ive seen there is a cup you can put in that holds it in, It looks similar to a menstrual cup! Not sure it’s something I’d ever try but I’ve seen some people say they got pregnancy the cycle they used one.

How is everyone doing? Where are you all at in your cycle? I'm CD10 today.

Hey! CD10 too, should get my flashing smiley on my clear blue tomorrow or Sunday, then peak expected Mon/Tue. Enjoying the relaxing this evening with no pressure to have to DTD before it changes over the weekend 🤣🤣 . I feel strangely relaxed and at ease this cycle.. hope it continues 😂
