Has anyone got any plans for the weekend?! How are we keeping ourselves busy with all this extra time not needing to test 😂

We booked an impromptu weekend away roughly 20 minutes ago, at the coast with the dogs, plenty of beach walks, fresh air and relaxing. Might even sneak in some fish and chips! Going to set off this evening once the OH gets home from work!

I'm conflicted between doing the usual DTD before and on day of ovulation or doing the SME method ! But I think SME would be too intense for us 😂

I think just do whatever you feel you can be bothered with 😂 sex on a schedule is not fun in my opinion so I wouldn’t wanna put that pressure on us, just yet.. maybe in a few months if still no luck. Is it even giving the sperm enough time to build back up again going day after day? 🤣 you are meant to abstain for it least 3 days but not more than 6 to have a sperm analysis.. there must be a reason for that?! Plus we’re led to believe sperm can stick around for 5 days so it surely isn’t necessary?

do you all find it hard to relax and not obsessively think about TTC? So hard to turn my brain off!

Yes, I actually can’t switch off from it tbh.. im fine whilst out and about but the moment I’m sat doing nothing it’s right back at the forefront hence being on a “relaxing weekend away” and being sat on mums net whilst waiting for my takeaway 🤣.

Both, but only because I’ve been using temps for over a year as birth control and it’s set to auto do it from my Apple Watch every morning. I couldn’t cope with having to do it with a thermometer I don’t think as I once tried and just not consistent enough. How about you?

aw cool, I am the same the easy @ home sticks and a thermometer but I do sometimes forget to take my temp!
the watch thermometer is a good idea I might upgrade my Apple Watch because it’s the newer one that does that isn’t it?

I’m not sure which series of watch the feature started at, but I’ve had mine since April 2023 and it has the feature. So you don’t necessarily need to get the newest version (unless you want to of course!)

Just looking back over the past few months my ovulation date varies from cd11-18 is that normal? Does anyone else’s vary that much?

My ovulation varies from day 20 to day 38. So yes, it's normal. 😂💕

I'm CD16 currently, hopefully will ovulate soon! Also hope you don't mind me joining the thread. I would love to be able to announce my pregnancy at Christmas 🥺

Mine doesn’t vary much, no, I’m typically CD14-16. I have heard many ladies say that theirs does, so you’re absolutely not alone 😊. I think it is all to do with when the dominant follicle has matured/grown enough, but not 100%. This is something I’ve never really looked into, but I may take a look now you’ve mentioned it 🤣

Previous cycles have been a nightmare as something always happens around ovulation - like the world's telling is it's not time yet!

Morning all! How are you? So this month I'm confused. I always have a 28 cycle then this month came on day 26. I keep a track of me period on an app and it's telling me to start ovulation testing from Tuesday?! Does this sound about right?

How is everyone feeling? Thinking most of you are ahead of me slightly so will you start OPK testing this week?

I will start testing about CD10 with OPK but CD8 with my clear blue advanced ☺️ I’m currently CD5! I normally ovulate CD14-16. I guess if it’s predicting you could ovulate CD12, then it lines up with mine! 🙂

Morning @KT199 yeah last month I ovulated CD13 but that was the first month I had been tracking so will see this month what happens, has anyone else quite enjoyed this week of no testing and no symptom spotting 😂😂😂

My cycle is usually anywhere between 34 and 44 days so this really threw me this month when it was 4 days early. Wasn't expecting it at all.
Definitely this month will be using OKP strips. Is this an option for you?
I'm currently day 8 but haven't started testing yet purely because I still find it difficult to get my head round it all so not sure when to test 😂

Do you use the Premom app? That typically will signpost when to test based on data you’ve entered from previous cycles!

Yes I’ve loved it!! But I’ve also been like so what do I do 🤣 only tracked for 2 months but it seems to have taken over my life 😂

Unfortunately I’m back and mine ended in a short lived chemical! 😢 CD 1 of cycle #2, unsure when ovulation will be this month. Good luck girls!

Hey, I use premom app yes.
I think I missed my peak last month as well somehow. Even though I was testing lol.
I also use flo just to track my cycles.

Premom suggests ovulation on 22nd and Flo on 25th for this cycle.
