My urge hasn't passed unfortunately. Off to the shop in a couple of hours....have stopped drinking in the hope it makes my wee stronger. What am I like. Only a couple of days ago there I was telling you all to be strong!

queenie1 · 21/05/2008 19:07

Leaky - got so prematurely excited when I saw your post. Wishing you faint line vibes. !!!!

hopingforasecond · 21/05/2008 19:28

[name changed for this]

We're ttc number 2.

26 day cycle, tried to conceive on day 13.

within 48 hours, I was really bloated and couldn't bear anything tight around my waist (just like my first pregnancy). It's as if my stomach muscles have just given up. And after all that work I did regaining them...

Peeing and bowel movements went haywire about a day later.

I've got lots of cramping going on now (day 19).

And I'm already nauseous and having sugar crashes whenever I don't eat for a while.

I know I know I know I have to wait another week before testing, but hold my hand, please - does it sound like I might be pg?

(double posted - I put this in a new topic and then saw this thread and thought "ooh, this is where I should be" )

snap! i have one dd and have been ttc for 9 months now. my periods have always been slightly erratic from 28 days to 45 days. Now its been 59 days since last af tested a week ago and it was bfn. but i feel all bloaty and fat (with my first pg i put on weight straight away and don't with pmt)
tell me I'm preggers!please

flowerfairy · 21/05/2008 20:10

af got me, girls. Good luck, queenie.
Same time next month then.
Heron you were exactlyright af has been bang on time the last few months, makes working out ov easier.
Off to buy some preseed

leaky · 21/05/2008 22:04

I gave in to stupid test & got a BFN again. Still so early in cycle,I shouldn't have bothered but what can you do when the temptation bug gets you.

Not giving up hope yet,had cramps off & on but don't think they usually come & go for this long without AF arriving by now.

hopingforasecond · 21/05/2008 22:12

I bought a test today, and gave it to dp with strict instructions not to let me have it for a week. There's no way I'll go out and buy ANOTHER test, and that'll stop me testing too early

cathers · 22/05/2008 05:35

Hi girls - a quick update. AF was due on tuesday but no show . So tested yesterday and got a BFN.
Now 2 days late, which is unheard of with me, (unless preg).I know from doing ovulation kits that I ovulated later this month, i.e 10 days ago and also with DS was not able to pick up a BFP till 12 weeks! Also have sore tingley norks and weeing loads. Will test again tomorrow if AF still away.

queenie1 · 22/05/2008 07:55

Leaky - sorry you got BFN but as you say you're still early. Thanks Cathers for your reassuring words. I also feel pregnant today - very tingly boobs - but did another test today and there was no faint line (got one yesterday and night before). Despite BFN this morning, 'just know' I am. On day 36 which is now officially late for me if on my longest 35 day cycle. Just want that BFP!!!! Must be patient!!!

cathers · 22/05/2008 08:44

hi Queenie, glad someone is in same boat! My longest ever cycle is 29 days, and now on day 31. I tested yesterday for first time with first response, def. BPN. Though today nearly gagged when eating breakfast! So confusing. What tests are you using? May be tempted to buy more today. Do you know when you can request a blod test, or if these are more sensitive?

Heron23 · 22/05/2008 09:12

hi queenie, i'm afraid doctors dont do blood test to confirm pregnancy anymore. so, we can only rely on these &£%& test sticks.

flower, sorry the witch got you. but good thing is your cycle is so regular!

leaky, sorry about your BFN but it is still so early...

hi hoping, fingers crossed for you!

they say that a woman's intuition is always spot on - but for me, my desire to be pregnant has caused me to imagine symptoms or misinterpret them

AF is due tonight/tomorrow morning. my boobs are less sore this morning. told DH that i think we're out of luck this month...i did collect my first urine this morning, was tempted to test, but ended up resisting and throwing out the urine. am going to forget about this - AF will come or not whatever i do. it is a lovely sunny day today. i have to book our car for our july hols in france. so got lots to do! not mention my messy house!!!

have a good day everyone! will keep you all posted

Am using clear blue tests. Tempted to call doctors and ask for blood test but trying to hold off for fear they will just think I am impatient-desperate-crazy...

leaky · 22/05/2008 10:09

Hi everyone. AF arrived this morning.left me feeling all confused as to whether I should be trying for a 3rd or not, making life harder for myself.Have decided to keep trying anyway. We go on holiday soon so at least will be enjoying the hot sunshine on a beach which will be a good distraction for me when waiting to see if AF arrives or not.

LullyMummaOfOne · 22/05/2008 10:45

Leaky, sorry about AF. Seems to be getting us all this month. Dont give up trying, im sure we will all get lucky in the next few months.
Good luck to everyone else and i'll be sure to watch out for the next thread!!

Heron23 · 22/05/2008 12:27

LullyMummaOfOne · 22/05/2008 14:13

By the way, do you all reccommend to invest in a OV test kit? Just wondered if they really do help?

leaky · 22/05/2008 14:51

Congrats to you Ohjoy that's fantastic news.I may be ovulating for a few nights when we'll be sleeping on an airbed in a friends lounge!! That'll be fun then we'll be in the South of France for a couple of weeks so it will take my mind off it all.
