AF due in 7 days! let's hand hold!

2nd cycle ttc dc2, AF due next thurs

so far i have not done any testing (unlike last month when i wasted so many test strips!)

let us get through the next week together

also i have very little symptoms compared to last month. my boobs are not overly sore, and cramps are much less

Leaky - will try now to hold out until Thursday as that will be day 36 of my cycle. That assumes, though, I will get to that date without AF arriving (which I have pretty much now convinced myself it will particularly as boobs have stopped feeling tingly).

Agree that testing is NOT fun (unless you get a positive!!). But I do usually test every day from day 28 until my period arrives...making ttc not only an emotional rollercoaster but also very expensive!

Thanks heron for working out my days. You'r every dedicated. Am far too stressed with work to work it out. Had had a good weekend as been camping and although a bit chilly & damp felt really relaxed. Then today I kno wAF is on it's way, as boobs feel like rocks and blew up like bottle of pop at poor ds as he wouldn't come & eat porridge for breakfast. Felt guilty for that. Then dh burnt tea so had to resolve that & now feeling really low. Had even convinced myslef over weekend that dc#2 wouldn't matter.

Will be purchasing that pre-seed stuff next week after all.

Shame flowerfairy...sending you big hugs I read on one of your earlier comments that you'd only BD once this past month due to your bad back so it may well be that AF is on the way,but you never know....

Hope your back is better in time for this month

Hello all, AF still hasnt arrived yet but im feeling very emotional at the moment and im sure its on its way. Im normally between 28/29 day cycle and today is CD30. Think i will wait until the end of the week before i test and if AF still hasnt arrived.
God i havent felt like this since having my coil fitted 2 yrs back and not its been taken out i can remember how bad i used to feel each month when AF did arrive. I hope we can get some BFP real soon- good luck to all.

Hi everyone. I'm feeling all over the place now too!
I stupidly gave in & did a test today which was -ve Stupid because it's far too early in my cycle but I feel a bit odd today so thought I'd test & a friend has got 2 spare tests I can have so I knew I could afford to waste one.Also i used middle of the day wee which isn't a good idea with cheaper tests.
But I think I feel low generally cos my close friends mum is dying,sounds like she only has a few days left to live if that
She lives 300 miles away but we will be going down next week so I'll beable to give my friend a big hug then.

Anyway unless I get any real symptoms I must wait til 1st wee Friday!

on my first cycle ttc, i must have wasted about 10 test sticks, luckily there are the cheapies...

Leaky - how early were you when you tested?

I'm now on day 34 of a cycle that could be anything from 28-35 days. Feel very tired and emotional. Still got cramping pains. Not sure about my boobs - sometimes think they are tingly but sure I am convincing myself.

Trying to hold out on doing another test until Thursday morning (if that is, AF hasn't arrived by then). So still in that am I, aren't I place, and still being driven mad by it...Finding it very hard to concentrate on work right now...just want to know one way or another...AAAARRRRGGGGHH...

Queenie I'm only on day 32 so it was far too early for me to test,I just couldn't help myself.

Will maybe test friday but have been getting slight achey pains. Had that last time round though for a few days & was actually pregnant then.

Couldn't resist doing test last night and...there was a very faint line. Did another this morning and still a very faint line...

Now think I really might just be PG!!!!!! Will leave it 3 or 4 days and test again...wish me luck!! Am so (cautiously) excited...

I've still been getting pains on & off today.And I'm feeling exactly like What Queenie had written yesterday...am I, aren't I, I just want to know & deal with it.

I'm so pleased for you Queenie....a BFP for one of us...

Last night i was going thru everything in my head & having guilt trips about is it right to change what my boys know now, you know, how complete we feel, then I could go & change it all with a new baby. Still excited about TTC but anxious about whether it's actually right or not. Do I really want to go through all that again. The problem is I absolutely love being pregnant, it makes me feel so sexy,haha!Also have had 2hr & 1hr labours.Goodness knows what the next one would be!

I guess if it happens it happens & I really need to not get hung up about it.I do love all the excitement thou....that's if it happens...aaarrghhh,I'm going crazy now! Better shut up now

Dear ohjoy, cece and leaky - yes very exciting and so want to believe it...but until I get a dark line won't be completely convinced...

Leaky - I will probably keep testing like some mad thing until (or to see if?!?) I get that dark line...Let me know how your testing goes.

Wouldn't know about whether a new baby would be right for your two boys as don't have any kids yet, but sure they would love it. I only have one brother and wish I had more siblings...So keep going for it, and will also keep fingers crossed for you!!!

Queenie, which test is it you can use upto 4 days early? I'm going shopping tonight 7 so want to test again NOW! Do i really have to wait for early morning wee too....

Leaky - tests that I use are clear blue. So expensive and I don't really believe they can test up to 4 days but they may (and may NOT) show faint lines. I'm now on CD 35 so if I was having a 35 day cycle I would be due on tomorrow. I guess I should, if PG, get darker line tomorrow but going to try to hold out til Sat or Sun.

I have used first response before but they have never given me a positive or a faint line when testing early (when I previously was PG before my MCs). So clear blue all the way for me...(BUT NOT DIGITAL. Use the + / - ones as that way you can look for faint lines

The general consensue is that morning wee is best but I got a stronger faint line last night than I did this morning so read from that what you will...?

Let me know how it goes - and I'll keep you posted on whether my line develops. So hope it does...and so scared it won't!!! Do you think I can believe I am pregnant yet??

hi queenie, i know just how you feel. when i was early pregnant with my DS, i found out by blood test rather than test sticks. so i knew i was pregnant. but i was still so neurotic, i tested everyday! and kept all the test sticks. i tested for a good 2 weeks! until week 7 when we went for the scan...ahh...

AF is due tomorrow evening and this afternoon i was so so tempted to test using a cheapie...

so i log on instead to confess my temptation

thank God for these threads, they certainly keep me from going crazy!

about first response that is a bit disappointing cos i bought one and they are expensive...cheaper than clearblue. so the only other test sticks i have are the internet cheapies. they claim to be the super early ones. not sure if i can believe the claim though.

i think the urge to test early has passed! phew!

Hi Heron - keep resisting, if you can (although clearly I can't so in no position to say such things!!

Do you think I would be completely mad to call the doctors tomorrow, get appointment and ask for blood test? Never done that before. Would they laugh me out of the surgery / would I come across as the neurotic-obsessive that I am???
