Hi Cece, sorry about your AF

from what i know, after 40, you should see a doc after 3 months of ttc.

do you have a good doctor?

cece · 13/06/2008 16:57

Really 3 months! Oh I'd better make an apointment then... I thought it was 6 months, so was going to give it one more month.

Rachrox · 13/06/2008 17:23

Hi Dbm,
No i couldn't keep it a secret! ..lol..
Instead i just took a photo and sent it to him on his phone!!
Have you tested yet?
I'm thinking of buying more just to make sure . I'll probably buy lots over nxt few wks til it sinks in!
How is everyone else getting on?

heron22 · 13/06/2008 17:29

good luck Cece! there are lots that can be done to improve fertility. have you considered getting acupuncture?

i am certain that getting acupuncture helped me get my BFP.

cece · 13/06/2008 17:40

I did have it a few months ago to sort out some problems with my period pains and it was better next time.. So may give it a go. hen is th ebest time in your cycle to have the treatmetn?

dinkyboysmum · 13/06/2008 20:09

BFN again, and AF due tomorrow, so guess thats me out.
good question cece, i swear by reflexology as that helped me conceive last time i'm positive, but at £30 a session, cant afford to have it done every week. any ideas on when is the best time anyone? i'm guessing it would be pre-O? the lady last time said she could feel a big egg ready to come out (in my feet??!), so bd that night and hey presto!

chocciedooby · 14/06/2008 15:01

Any BFP's?

chocciedooby · 15/06/2008 20:36

No AF today but that ws to be expeced. My boobs are sore today so I reckon its on its way
Did another test yesterday and got a BFN.

dinkyboysmum · 15/06/2008 20:37

BFN this morning & AF has just turned up! am not at all disappointed (well, maybe just a little bit) as this will mean i am now 'working again'- i think.
please correct me if i'm wrong...
after ds1 was born i didnt have af for 8 months, then dr gave me COCP for a few months to try return cycles, stopped COCP last month & 28 days later AF has arrived. AF wouldnt have arrived if i hadnt O'd right? so now AF has arrived, i can work out dates for next month of ttc. think thats correct?

choccie how you doing? have you tested?

heron22 · 16/06/2008 08:34

hi dinky, i think it is possible to have AF without ovulating.

chocciedooby · 16/06/2008 11:13

Sorry to hear your AF has arrived DBM.
I did a test yesterday and got BFN.Not testing today as think AF is on its way.Boobs are sore, achiness left for a couple of days and is back today and I just don't feel pregnant.
Enjoy BD until the next time DBM.Keep us all posted on whats happening.

dinkyboysmum · 17/06/2008 19:45

wel...Af turned up on sunday, but only really really lightly, tried to convince myself it was implantation bleeding especially no AF yesterday, but alas the old witch has got me properly now! here's to next cycle....

chocciedooby · 18/06/2008 09:57

Oh DBM....enjoy this next cycle.
I thought my AF was coming yesterday as boobs were still really sore and had some very light staining (sorry tmi)but no big gush or any red blood ans now this morning nothing again. I think I am like you DBM and its teasing me before it becomes full blown.

chocciedooby · 19/06/2008 10:47

AF has finally arrived!!!!!!!!!Now onto the next cycle

flowerfairy · 19/06/2008 20:56

Ok, ok can't resist to update you all. Af due sat 21st as have been very regular since dec. Have had very few pms symptoms this month, apart from crampy tummy for last fortnight, on and off. but hurrah no horrendous boob pain have very bloaty tummy feeling today and nipples keep having the odd twinge. can't remember much other than the cramps from first pg and nasty taste. Am just trying to be patient and not think about it onw way or the other. Secretly always hope for bfp, but think it is unlikely even though bd at right time.

dinkyboysmum · 19/06/2008 21:25

ah, sorry choccie, it wasnt to be this month for us!
can i ask...is cd1 the first day of full bleeding, or the first day of spotting? hoping this will be my month & want to amke sure i get dates right!!

chocciedooby · 19/06/2008 22:19

I always go by CD1 being the first day of red blood.
Can anyone else confirm this is correct please.

dinkyboysmum · 22/06/2008 16:42

hows it going flowerfairy? tested yet?

flowerfairy · 22/06/2008 18:22

no not yet, af still not showing, still getting cramps. Trying to be calm and not build hopes yet. But unusually for me don't feel depressed in last few days. Nipples absolutely wreck, thought i was going to have to go braless around tesco this morning, sports bra feels a bit tight. Reading too much into the tiniest thing i know.

hi flower, hows it is going? have you tested ?

cathers · 23/06/2008 14:18

Hi all,
Just a quick update - AF was due last week and HPT showed BFN....however tested today after still no show and ..wait for it.. BFP. Can hardly believe it after almost a year, but it is bloody typical as have docs appointment next week to start blood tests off for subfertility and DH away for 2 weeks!
Had to share news with you all - good luck to all still waiting x

flowerfairy · 23/06/2008 18:35

congratulations cathers, that's great news.

as for me af no show still and cramps still coming and going and a bit of nausea, but determined not to read anything into being 2-3 days late (skulks over to pg testing kits site to see what earliest delivery date is)

flowerfairy · 23/06/2008 18:43

How's things going heron? Haven't seen you around for abit?

dinkyboysmum · 23/06/2008 20:23
