2nd cycle ttc dc2, AF due next thurs

so far i have not done any testing (unlike last month when i wasted so many test strips!)

let us get through the next week together

also i have very little symptoms compared to last month. my boobs are not overly sore, and cramps are much less

hi all, hi littlemissdaisy, just got back from acupuncture, so feeling quite relaxed. it is dy22 for me.

taking temps and it is still high. no other major symptoms though, boobs a bit tender and a bit of low back pain, thats it really...

i am not obsessing at all this month, cos now i know that this ttc can take a long time...i got preg first month when trying for DS. now i know we were just so lucky!

I got a great pregancy & conception book off of Ebay for a couple of quid, its for sale in Mothercare for £22.99 Bargain I have no symptoms yet either, I am not very hopeful of a BFP this month as I was advised not take my Clomid script until I have a natural cycle, I had a CP last month

Got a couple of books from the library but Ebay sounds like a good idea, I hadn't thought of that. Sorry to ask littlemissdaisy but what is CP. I'm not that clued up on all the abbreviations and on here it says cerebral palsy??

Just done weekly shop, have a slight headache & so many people had strong perfume on,ugh. Not that that means a thing.

Hi Leak, CP = Chemical Preganacy, its when the egg is fertilised but doesn't implant. I Got a BFP on day 31 and then had heavy clotty bleed three days later.

Sorry to hear that Little. By the way, where do you all get your nick names from. Mine is my life now as a result of DS2 labour!

where is everyone today? I have just bought a clearblue fertility monitor off of, yeah you guessed it, EBAY. Never before have I been so excited about getting my AF, I have definatley set myself up for a BFN this month, How is everyone else doin???

Funny that LMD. I have just bought another damn pack of ovulation sticks for next month! Holding out on buying pre-seed till wed, though at that point may substitute cash for nice bottle of wine depending on how fed up I am.
Not tested yet - 48 hours to go and surprising relaxed still. Am convinced of another BFN to minimise 8th month of disapointment.

Hello CD 29 here and trying to hold out till CD 31 or 32 before I test. Last month AF was late and I got to CD 36 with 6 BFNs so we shall see. Not optamistic.

Hi girlies I'm on CD30 and havin small niggly feelings like I get b4 AF but I'm never this early, more like CD36/42. Last time with DS2 PG I thought I was getting AF for almost a week because of pains
so don't lose hope out there. Let's push on thru together. I'm goona try to wait til maybe Thurs/Fri to test.

Not looking good here, had a small bit of red spotting last night but nothing else so far today...

Hi all - been reading this thread with interest and wondering if I could join you?

Been ttc since April last year, had two MC's (one at 8 weeks in October, second at 5 weeks in February). Since then been ttc again with no joy and periods which were always regular before have been all over the place with cycles spanning 25 - 35 days.

Now on day 33 of this cycle. No AF yet. Have no idea when I ovulated as not keeping track but did have ECVM days 13 through to days 16 of cycle when we had lots of sex.

Last night lay in bed with tingling feeling in my boobs and convinced myself I was pg. Did a test yesterday and there was the faintest of faintest lines. Did another this morning and it was completely negative. Boobs still tingling, but surely something would show by now? Burst into tears and feeling so depressed.

Have any of you had similar? Do you think I can still hope on this cycle or is it looking like a definate no? I'm driving myself MAD...!!

i am on dy25 today. AF is due on thurs evening or fri morning. i have very little symptoms this cycle actually. not sure if this is due to acupuncture i've been having?
boobs sore and little low back pain and that's about it really.

we got to BD a lot this cycle ;)

what test strip are you using? different brands have different sensitivity.

remember that test results must be read within the specified time.

it is all so difficult i know. last cycle, i got a faintest faint and then AF the witch got me 2 days later

as long as the witch have not got you, there is always hope.

Hi - am using clear blue and the ones that claim they are senstive up to 4 days early. In the past, when I have been pregnant, I have always had a faint line by this stage (using clear blue) which then develops to a dark line by day 35/36. So that there is no faint line makes me suspect it's going to be a no-goer this month.

just wish my AF would arrive if I'm not as I can then finally accept this...although, of course, don't want it to arrive at all as I want to be PG!!

Hi & welcome to Lully & Queenie1....Queenie remember no 2 pregnancies are ever the same so don't give up hoping this month. I'm on CD31 now & might test this Thurs/Fri but period could be another 6 days off from then! It's so temting every time I go for a wee to think 'I could just put a stick in now for the fun of it'.It'd probably be -ve this early thou but I just love all the excitementMy tests are cheap ones though which is helping me to be stronger about waiting. Also this month we only decided TTC while in the act but I'm sure I was ovulating so while I'm all excited I have to tell myself maybe I need to prepare more with temps etc.
Also Queenie try & hold out if you can.You may just have a longer cycle this month & need to test later. Good luck

Hello, hows everyone doing today nice to see some new names on the board, I POAS this morning don't know why its far to early for me yet only CD29, just couldn't help myself I don't feel at all pregnant this month no symptoms what so ever. I want AF to hurry up and arrive so I can play with my new CBFM

Looks like af has arrived. Starting to feel a bit fed upp about ttc. Will now be 42 when I give birth if I ever get pg

Shame cece but anyway, 42's ok. I'll be 40 in January & have only just come round to idea of another & one of the reasons was due to my age. But the way I look at it now is you're as young as you feel plus my friend says not to worry about the statistics etc healthwise for being an older mum because so many women are having babies later now the stats are actually coming down. I'm sure it'll happen soon

I can't believe you gave in Little! It's fun at first but not when you get a -ve.Wait til you're past the 24th at least. I have no symptons either but feel a bit bloated, normal though for AF I guess. AF could visit me anytime from Wed onwards but might not be for another 12 days from then

Leaky - will try now to hold out until Thursday as that will be day 36 of my cycle. That assumes, though, I will get to that date without AF arriving (which I have pretty much now convinced myself it will particularly as boobs have stopped feeling tingly).

Agree that testing is NOT fun (unless you get a positive!!). But I do usually test every day from day 28 until my period arrives...making ttc not only an emotional rollercoaster but also very expensive!
