p.s. - great to hear everything's still going well Heron! Know what you mean about knicker checking and perpetual POASing, but BELIEVE!!

Heron23 · 30/05/2008 17:44

Heron23 · 01/06/2008 10:52

hi tink, fingers crossed for you ! good idea to give it a couple of days, cos the level of hcg should double in 2-3 days time.

Heron23 · 01/06/2008 10:52

hi knax, how are you today? how your little bean?

OP posts:
Knax · 01/06/2008 11:43

I'm keeping everything crossed for you tink!!
Fine thanks Heron, can't wait to get to 12 weeks though as it's a bit of a worry at this stage, but i'm feeling ok. Boobs getting v sensitive, poor DS poked me by accident and I jumped so much I gave him a fright and he started to cry! (He's 2 soon).
knax x

roquefortlover · 01/06/2008 11:48

Hello all and congrats to Knax my cycle buddy! I'm studying today so can't stay long and apologies for not having read everyone's news but... I have got a BFP!! This must be a lucky thread. Not getting excited yet though as had a cp in Feb - but feeling sicky already which must be good. Like a hangover that never quite goes...Will try to pop back in later xxx for now, RL (no more roquefort for me for a while!)

Knax · 01/06/2008 11:51

Congratulations Roque!!!
Very lucky thread!
knax x

Squack · 01/06/2008 12:03

Is this the luckiest thread in conception?

8dpo today, having had a plethora of symptoms all week I have none today.
I'm charting on ff and temps look okay so far.

LP usually 12 days so Friday i'll officially be late and will test everyday until then.

Heron23 · 01/06/2008 17:05

hi roque! CONGRATULATIONS !!!!!! so so happy for you !

and this is the cycle you thought you did not have much chance because your DH was away at the crucial times!

so happy for you
take it easy and try to relax!

you going to join any of the pregnancy threads?

OP posts:

wow congrats Roque ! i hopethis is a lucky thread , still no cramps and been dizzy atwork today . I think i'mpersuadingmyself itmight be a possibility this month but am trying not to incase i'm just a few days late ! just dont wanna feel let down when af arrives

Heron23 · 01/06/2008 18:46

hi knax, i know what you mean about boobs being so sore. DS knocked them accidentally today and i had to bite my lip!
i am also rather on tenterhooks, i have booked a scan for fri (i will be 6+1 weeks). i am considering whether i should go ahead with it or postpone to 7+1 weeks.

OP posts:
roquefortlover · 01/06/2008 19:23

Thanks for congrats heron, tink, knax - i am still a bit in shock i think as had assumed no go this month!! Still, 3 HPTs do not lie.... I don't want to get too excited though, so although I'd like to join a preg thread i don't feel brave enough yet...maybe leave it a couple of weeks. I would really like an early scan too, will have to pay of course but it would be v reassuring. I have googled it and many places seem to offer one at 8 weeks so i reckon I can wait that long. Feeling v queasy today, don't remember it this early with other pregnancies. i have 2 very busy weeks at work ahead so am hoping i am not too sick until after that when I can have a rest!

littlemissdaisy · 01/06/2008 20:08

Roquefortlover CONGRATULATIONS

Knax Sorry your (.)(.)'s are a little bit sore, its all good signs tho.

Heron Good luck for your scan on Friday you must be excited(and a little bit scared)

Tink Still got my fingers crossed for you, when are you gonna test again??

Queenie Where are you lurking

Squack Also got my fingers crossed for you

Well I finally got my AF Today CD41, I have never been so glad to see the old bag, I spent yesterday swinging through the trees from a harness at GO APE and did a 4 mile walk today, I am going to become a fitness freak and try and loose some weight, I will be back on the clomid tomorrow CD's 2-7, Im also gonna start temping,oh god and use my new clearblue fertility monitor, I have also joined the gym, spinning and swimming on a Monday night and aqua gym on a Thursday (God that all sounds a bit manic doesn't it??) This will be my month

ohjoy · 02/06/2008 07:49

good morning all!

hi roque, if you are in london, i can tell you where you can get a scan earlier than 8 weeks. how are you feeling today? how's your little bean?

hi little, sounds like you have very good plan for getting your BFP!!! good luck and fingers crossed for you!

yes i am a bit nervous and very excited about the scan on fri. although, i am thinking, perhaps i should wait another week? what if it is a bit too early, and they dont see the heartbeat? then it will be an agonising waiting another week for another scan? (not to mention the cost!)

embarassed to say but i am still doing HPTs!
the test line is now darker than the control line!

have a good day everyone !

beckmo · 02/06/2008 09:58

I had a 6 week scan with DD due to stomach cramps and it was inconclusive really-everything was in the right place but it was too early to detect a heartbeat so I left still worried. Because of that I would wait until 8 weeks if you have a choice. It just gives the bean a little bit more time to develop. Whatever you all do I hope the scans go well.Think I will hold out until 12 weeks but not sure. And congrats Roque!

Oh and Knax!Blimey this is a lucky thread1

queenie1 · 02/06/2008 11:51

Hi all

Congratulations to Knax and Roquefort!!! You must be so delighted. V. exciting, and yes, what a lucky thread. Lets hoping it rubs off...

LMD - sorry to hear about AF. At least we can hand hold together next month. Your list of activities sounds exhausting. I'm restarting yoga this week but that is probably my lot. Oh, and crucially, intend to BD every other day this month...Can everyone else wish us lots of baby dust please?

xx

Meeely2 · 02/06/2008 11:54

HI all, AF due on the 10th, so AGES away, but wish me luck!

ohjoy · 02/06/2008 11:58

Hello! LOTS of Babydust to you all waiting for AF!!!

this is a lucky thread and here's hoping it rubs off on all of you

ohjoy · 02/06/2008 11:59

hi beckmo, i am so undecided about whether to have the scan at 6+1 weeks or wait longer...

anyway, i can see the pros and cons of waiting and not waiting.

my main concern is making sure my little bean is at the right place...

lastboxoftampons · 02/06/2008 12:44

Hi All - can I join you again? made a brief appearance last month as PrePG - back again with a brighter outlook, hence the new name.

4dpo today with a huge temp drop today must be a fallback rise. TBH not too optimistic this month as we didn't time things as well as we had previous cycles, so therefore not obsessing as much as I usually would. Plus, last cycle I thought I had classic symptoms and period arrived earlier than usual!

chocciedooby · 02/06/2008 15:11

Hi everyone.Can I join?
Not due until around the 15th!
My cycle is a bit messed up the last couple of months due to suspected ectopic in April that was never really confirmed...not sure what happended really. Anyway, I think I ovulated on day 12 and now I'm on day 15 (I know its early days!!) and I have abdominal cramping. Hoping this lucky thread rubs off on me
