Moving over from lurking on TTC Aug 2024, as AF just arrived yesterday. Anyone else joining?

@MyGardenDaisies I had myself convinced I was pregnant this month but not looking like it's going to happen. My period still hasn't arrived... my last cycle was 23 days and I'm day 29 today... before my misscarriage my cycles were very regular at 28. So theoretically I suppose my period could arrive any time.. I'm not going to test again until next weekend if my period still doesn't make an appearance. 🤷‍♀️

I’m a day late for my period but only 8dpo as I ovulated a day later than expected. I’ve had implantation bleeding with each successful pregnancy (2 mmc, and 1 successful DD) and just started spotting today. Half of me thinks I’m out, a little hope that it’s implantation bleeding but I’m probably out as it was a short time between ovulated and period due date.

in my fertile window atm and just feeling so low. I feel like it’s impossible to get pregnant. How does everyone else in my life get pregnant and we just can’t seem to??? I know this sounds ridiculous but it just feels impossible 🥲🥲

Morning everyone. I am 12dpo today and tested with some other tests I had at home. They are both positive but super faint. I had a positive digital yesterday but I would expect them to be darker by now? Problem is they are all different brands as I was away on holiday… so it’s like comparing apples with orange. I have another one of these tests, so I gues the best thing is to wait 2 days and test again… torture!

in the meantime… any success stories of faint positives at 12dpo?

@MrsKurz with my first the line was quite faint at 10/12 DPO. Think I might have ovulated later than my app showed. I wasn't tracking ovulation tho, was just going by estimates based on cycle. Line stated getting darker after missed period date.

@MrsKurz these are line progressions of my 1st child’s pregnancy - top one starts at 10DPO. I would recommend testing with the same test if you want to see the line doubles in darkness every 48h. But it was both reassuring and worry inducing to keep doing it.
maybe just trust your digital and stop testing?

I am 10DPO, period due today and no signs yet. I will just wait until I can buy a new test or if I miss period. Hard to predict it as my cycle variation is 7 days

Yeah it’s been a bit of a mess this time as all the tests I’ve taken have been different brands, other than the one that was negative at 9dpo and faint at 10dpo. I was in Austria so could only get what that pharmacy had to offer, now I’m home (living in Switzerland!) so had to get a different brand lol. I have 1 more in the pack from this one so I’ll try to wait til Wednesday to take it. I probably should just trust the digital. Those are pretty accurate right?

@OliveTraybake i totally feel you. My friend has just found out she’s pregnant trying first time and although i’m happy - i’m very sad. My period was days late this month, even now 5 days later i’m only spotting so on cycle day 36!!! and nothing. multiple preg tests later all negative. I feel so sad, once i start crying about it i can’t stop the tears!!

Hi Everyone! I am a little late to the party this month, I have been trying to keep my mind off things but here i am 7/8DPO symptom spotting like crazy.

I had my static smiley face on the clearblue ovulation kit on the 8th, so I believe i ovulated around then, I had lots of EWCM (sorry TMI) it then cleared and then on the 13th Sept i had a lot of watery discharge, the following days i have continued to see it but not as much as i did on the 13th, cramping yesterday! usually I am dry after O.

I'm just trying to hope for positive news this month and around 16 months TTC. Did anyone have this and get a BFP?

@MrsKurz yes, you could also check how sensitive is your digital test , if it’s one that detects a very low hgc then it’s even more normal that the lines are still vary faint

Yeah it's a 6 day early one, I just expected AF to come any time between yesterday and tomorrow, so would have thought they'd be darker. I guess I'll just keep testing in the mornings and see what happens!

@OliveTraybake I definitely sympathise, I feel the same way.. feel like everyone I know is announcing their pregnancy, it’s so hard isn’t it. Also in my fertile window at the moment and already feel like it’s not going to plan this month between illnesses and DH and I both being so busy with other things etc but trying to remain hopeful. It’s so draining! Feel like TTC has totally taken over my life recently..

so so fustrating!! I’m CD14 now and usually have my LH surge at this time.. just done an ovulation test and my LH is 0.15… this time last cycle it was 1.66!!

What on earth is happening ☹️

I’m with you! I posted on some previous months threads too. I’m back in my fertile window again now. I’m trying to be more relaxed about things this time (our 3rd month ttc). But it’s much more stressful than I ever thought it would be!

I track BBT with natural cycles and this months graph is looking a bit weird. It’s predicting I’m going to ovulate tomorrow (day 17), but my temp has already started to rise, so I may have ovulated earlier. Hoping we DTD enough if that’s the case! (I haven’t been able to get a positive LH Test yet, so I’m very confused this month!)

I’ve ordered Amazon test strips and will test tonight and tomorrow as I’m absolutely knackered and bloated and no sign of period

We’re on holiday and managed DTD sat, sun and planning to tonight. Pretty sure I should ovulate tomorrow but I don’t have much EWCM at all and my cervix isn’t very soft. I’m worried I won’t ovulate at all. We’re constantly talking about next summer and how we could have a baby. It feels all consuming but I feel like it will never happen

Not sure of when I ovulated but DTD often around the time. So not sure of how many DPO.

Since last night ive had awful metallic taste in my mouth and some niggly lower abdo pains. Trying not to symptom spot but what's people's thoughts? Anyone else had the metallic taste before?

Did a test and negative. :(
I’m still having a hopeful heart and will retest until positive or period arrives, as I might be 8 or 9DPO not 10DPO, as the clear blue digital smiley shows up for 48h.

Can I join? I am trying to conceive again after having a TFMR for trisomy 16 at 15 weeks at the end of May. Only on 2nd cycle since my lost and had a BFN today which broke me as I had convinced myself that I was pregnant 😭
I am 35 and slightly worried about my egg quality. I am one and done until a year ago and now the thought of not having another breaks me

I had a mmc in July and was hoping this cycle would work. I think you put so much will and hope into the first cycle. But I’m not sure this is the one for us. I’m spotting but not a full on period, 10 dpo and testing negative. With my other pregnancies I’ve always had implantation bleeding when I’m due so it’s hard to tell if it’s the start of a period or not. But I’ve also not tested positive until day 14ish and with the last one I bled for a good 4 days and thought it was my period until I started feeling sick. So who knows!!

I got the starkest white negative at 9DPO and a "is there actually something there?" test at 10dpo, it's still SO early.

Morning! 10-11DPO and negative, period late.
My cycle variation is 7 days, so I’m 2 days late based on average cycle, but still not abnormal for me to have a slightly longer cycle.
I am starting to hope my period will come soon and a new cycle can start and we can try again.
