Hi! So sorry to hear about your MC. Im sure that was so hard.
I'm on CD2 now. I started spotting 11 DPO and I'm concerned about how soon that was... I'm overweight (BMI 27) and I've read online that it could be related so focusing this month on eating healthy.

Hi, yes I’ll join!
Cycle 5 currently CD22. Trying not to get my hopes up, because I slightly have ‘the feeling’ this month for the first time. All our other cycles to date I haven’t had any symptoms at all- the past few days I feel tired, sore boobs and just generally a bit ‘buzzy’. I don’t know how to explain it, but this is how I felt when I was early pregnant with my son 5 years ago.
I am desperately trying to keep a level head in case I just have some random viral illness and this is all in my head 🤣🤣

iridescentbloom · 16/08/2024 23:07

Hi, I'll join please!

I'm currently on CD18. We've done 2 cycles pull out 'method' and 2 cycles not trying not preventing. I was working away during this month's fertile window so I'm out for the month.

But September is going to be the first month we're officially trying and I can't wait, been waiting for this for so long! Will hopefully be baby number 1 for us 🤞 of course not expecting things will happen quickly but I'm just so ready to officially be TTC!

Herewegoagain0 · 17/08/2024 08:27

Can I join please? CD1 today ttc #3. Have had 2 chemicals at the start of the year and a MMC in May - naively thought we might catch again quickly after the MMC but now entering my third cycle since. Fingers crossed this is all our month!

Abs8 · 17/08/2024 11:58

Can I join please! ? CD 17 but not holding out much help for this month! TTC baby number 2 x

Angie2018 · 17/08/2024 12:35

Can I join please? I am just about to start trying next cycle which CD1 should be Monday. So I will be cycle 1 baby no1. I was in a very unhappy relationship years ago and did TTC with him, however after two years of trying we discovered her had less than 2M sperm per ml so no chance of natural pregnancy. I did actually have a chemical pregnancy with him in 2022 however we split very soon after as I realised it wasn't meant to be and I didn't want to be in an abusive relationship. I've been with my new partner for 18 months now and we have decided we want to try now. I can't help but feel a bit scarred from my last experience with my ex and that I am already scared of the monthly disappointment before it's even happened. I do feel hopeful this time as I am such a loving relationship and have never ever been happier. Hoping this is my time now! Would love to chat and support other ladies on this journey too x

Hi, ttc for a year, cycle day 11 had my peak yesterday waiting for ovulation as I can always feel it! Partner has low morphology 0.5%, still holding out for that natural conception but starting to lose hope, second SA in just a week after finding out 3 months ago from his first one it was male factor. fingers crossed it’s improved so nervous.

Hey! Hope you don't mind me jumping on this, I have everything crossed for you. A few years ago I was TTC with my ex and was trying for 18 months. Turned out he had less that 2M sperm per ml when it should be at 15M, I actually had a chemical pregnancy with him in month 4 of trying. Even though it wasn't viable, I actually did conceive so there is hope for you. Has he been on any extra vitamins or made any life changes? I have no children and am now in a happy relationship so about to try this cycle for the first time, CD1 should be Monday although it might be tomorrow as I am crampy lol x

Bobbilennard · 17/08/2024 20:53

Hi thanks for replying🙂 so all his other parameters were okay he has 82 million count and 46% motile so not amazing but above what makes the cut and his volume was fine too can’t quite rmemeber what it was now! It was just the morphology came back super low. So his lifestyle before the test was the worse possible. He smoked drank and had a really bad diet. So he cut out smoking and ate healthy and starting going gym, he does however still drink here and there and we’ve just come back from holiday so there was a lot of alcohol! Not banking on this test being great tbh. He has been taking coq10, omega 3, vit d and c, maca root and zinc. Hoping for a miracle. I’ve just ordered a fertility cup as I’ve seen a few success stories using it. Aw that’s so exciting I pray everything works for you!

Bobbilennard · 17/08/2024 20:53

Also I am so sorry about your miscarriage. Life can be so unfair.

So that's not that bad just the morphology. That could very well be increased a fair bit with the lifestyle changes he's made, that's really good he's done all that! My old fertility consultant told me to put my ex partner on impyrl and proxeed plus and alternate each day, they are quite expensive but I've read the reviews and they seem amazing. I didn't stay with my ex long enough for a second SA so I can't say what the results were but I've just put my partner on impyrl to make sure he's the best he could be. I think everything in moderation is fine, we still drink a few drinks each week, we still have sweet things and a pizza occasionally but I always thing if you exercise and eat well most the time and look after yourself the odd vice won't hurt.
Really have everything crossed for you for his next SA.

Thank you, although I do know now the universe was telling me he wasn't supposed to be the father of my children. He was quite abusive and I accepted my lot. When I left I was pretty glad I didn't fall pregnant.

Bobbilennard · 18/08/2024 07:24

Yeah that’s what I’ve tried telling myself but from what I’ve seen if it doesn’t improve I haven’t seen many success stories for naturally conceiving. We’ve seen a lot about impryl! Defo going to give it a try. He got his ex pregnant just under ten years ago so I’m hoping it is purely down to lifestyle and not genetic. He’s not very good at moderation in things🙃 sometimes the universe does have a weird way of working, so happy you’ve now found someone you know for sure you want to have a baby with. I pray it all goes well for you this time round

Ah thank you so much! Likewise with you, I have everything crossed for you. It does sound like it's lifestyle stuff that's Casio g the low morphology in that case, that's actually really positive he has been fertile before. Atleast you know though if it really doesn't help the IVF is an option. I keep telling myself that, if we fail naturally then we will go for IVF.
I'm now panicking that I won't be able to get pregnant because I ovulate on day 11/12 as I have shorter cycles and that will mean I can't. I just worry all the time!!

TTCIrish · 19/08/2024 11:54

@Angie2018 so sorry to hear about your previous relationship and well done on leaving it!

Really hoping it is down to that🤞🏼 yeah I’m not against the idea of IVF I just know we couldn’t afford to go private so then it’s all hopes on the nhs.. I wouldn’t worry about that sometimes I ovulate on cycle day 12, I think as long as you’re ovulating and your luteul phase isn’t shorter than 10 days it will all be okay. My cycles usually range from 25-27 days so on the shorter side too x

cinnamonda · 19/08/2024 12:14

What is AF, CD, SA please?

FirstbabyTTC31 · 19/08/2024 13:02

I'd love to join too please! I'm 31 and me and DH are planning on starting TTC for our first baby in September! I've still got my Aug period to go (end of the month) and then we'll start trying - am very excited!

I started a new job at the end of April and am a bit concerned about it happening straight away but also I just have no idea how long it might take and I don't want to wait any longer... I have examples of friends for whom it happened first time and then others who sadly really struggled. It's also really on my mind this week as two of my friends both had miscarriages last week and another has been told she probably cannot have children due to her medical treatment. Just very aware at the moment of how tricky the journey can be.

Excited to join you all on this journey!

It’s mad how much you can get in your own head about all this stuff. Even tho I know it’s my parter and I’ve been checked out (not thoroughly however. Haven’t had my tubes checked or egg count) there is still things that worry me about myself.. for a long time we thought it was me before his SA because I have painful sex which later found out I have a tilted uterus! Also my ovulation can cause quite a bit of discomfort/pain, I can feel myself ovulating which I know a lot of people can’t. Thank you and so do I for you🤞🏼 it’s in a week.. and then we have to wait again for the results to come back. Last time it took almost 2 months was horrible. I hope your journey is all positive x
