Anyone about to go into an ovulation week?

Hey!

TTC our 2nd been putting it off for a while but this month I’m going to be actively trying and testing LH etc
reading other posts feels as though everyone is already in there TWW this Aug 😂 so looking for company, anyone whose still waiting for their ovulation week.

I only used BBT when falling pregnant with my first but haven’t being doing it as regularly as I did back then.
Ive been trying to take my temp the past couple of weeks and natural cycles predicting ovulation on Weds!
what’s everyone plan of attack? 😂 I’m going to use LH strips from tomorrow onwards and as soon as I get my peak start DTD! Very sceptical it’ll happen this month with it being the first official month of trying but we shall see!
Hoping for some company if anyone is at a similar stage in their cycle?

I am somewhat close to ovulation. I have irregular periods so I ovulate around CD20-22. I'm currently CD16 and LH tests been gradually getting darker. CM is like very thin 'lotion' or like milky. Is that normal before EWCM?

@LuckyDuck93 I’ve had them in the past but not every month. I find sometimes I get pains in my legs as well when I ovulate.

I bet it’ll have something to do with ovulation! Good sign 🥰

@Plumchumm yes mine is often like that before/instead of EWCM.

@Mama09876 must’ve been that as ovulation confirmed as yesterday, thank god for LH strips because normally ovulation wouldn’t be until Monday/tuesday!

How's everyone getting on? I'm so crap at this iv only dtd once again cd10 I'm on or about ovulation now ish but I don't track and dh is away at work. Hopefully everyone else is doing better than me

@Itonlytakesone isnt it mentally draining!
We DTD the 3 days up to ovulation, but not ovulation day, so kind of hopeful, but then annoyed we didn’t on ovulation day which I know is silly really!

Anyone else just get a very quick surge rather than a gradual increase? Yesterday I had a very faint line on OPK and blank circle on Clearblue digital. Today I have my static smiley! I never seem to get flashing smileys. It all just happens so quick! Hope we are in with a chance. CD13 today. BD CD8, 10 and 12 as was trying to do SMEP.

Hi @Possumly I had to comment because I posted today about my OPK tests and worrying I'd missed my ovulation or it wasn't going to happen. I'm CD14 today and have had really faint OPKs, normally get a surge around CD10-12 and it gradually builds. Well today I had a really faint line this morning and then this afternoon it's nearly the same as the control! So looks like I'm having a really quick spike and later ovulation this month.

Hi @Possumly, my peaks are always quite quick!
There is literally 24hrs difference between the top and the bottom test, they then drop down quite quickly too x

Iv not really been thinking about it all after being totally consumed by it last month! I'm not feeling pregnant didn't try hard enough & havnt been testing I'm roughly a week post ovulation. I'm going to see how I feel next month. I just feel like af is brewing

@Itonlytakesone I feel like we've switched places, it's all I can think about this month, 10 DPO today and totally avoiding doing any sort of test until the weekend when AF is due, mainly because i'm avoiding finding out that it's not worked, I don't know why I just feel absolutely sure it hasn't this month despite DTD the 3 days up to ovulation, what a rollercoaster

Hold out I drove myself mad early testing last month so a much more relaxed approach this time. Wonder how @Mama09876 is getting on! She got a bfp any news on your first scan?

I’m not feeling overly confident tbh, AF due Sunday and my BBT dropped today, bit disappointed as this will be our last month trying until after Christmas, but it is what it is!

Yeah I'm not pregnant this month I already did a couple tests bfn. I only dtd once so expected this.

Iv been struggling with dd she's 5 her behaviour so I think I'm taking a break ttc wondering if a 2nd is for me🤣.

Hi all, sorry I've been a bit quiet. My cycle in August failed and then we had to take September off. I struggled a lot mentally during September, partly due to having to miss a cycle and other life stresses. Anyway we were back to TTC this month and got our BFP yesterday at 10dpo! 2 tests with faint lines in the morning and a digital BFP last night 🥰

On Monday I had really sensitive boobs which is really unlike me. It was gone on Tuesday but replaced by bloatiness/trapped wind feeling. But tested Monday, Tues and Wed which were all negative so thought my body was just playing tricks on me. So couldn't believe my eyes yesterday.

I'm so happy and trying to be optimistic but this is my 3rd pregnancy with first 2 ending in mc so 🤞🏼this is our sticky bean.

hey! Last 2 months I had a lot of days with CB digital flashing smileys (5-7 days) and then peak.

now on CD12 and still an empty circle.

previous 2 cycles I got the peak on day 17 and day 15, so going to start trying tomorrow

@Itonlytakesone i feel you with a little one! I’ve got a 3 year old and she’s testing my patience recently, I can’t believe I wanna do it all over again! 😂

@LuckyDuck93 that annoying your bbt has dropped! But you’re not out till af shows! And if it helps it’s been nice having a few months off and not stressing about it all to be honest!

Thought I would give this a bump. Anyone had any success these last few months? I struggled to find my peak this month despite it always being CD 15 so will widen the testing network. I'm wondering if the Christmas break indulgence and lack of routine and exercise might have thrown it off!!

Yes me! I actually got a bfp today I'd not stopped trying but wasn't really tracking just in total shock and now I can't think about anything else 😳

I'm now 14 weeks, can't quite believe it after 2 early miscarriages.

I took couple of months off and I did try start of Dec but I’ve been wondering if I’ve been leaving it to late to DTD. I always tried around my peak or day of ovulation & cause I was a bit relaxed about it before we only managed DTD once in the fertile window in the cycles we tried.

So end of Dec I ovulated again and took a different approach, wasn’t tracking anything other than my cervical mucus and managed to DTD twice just before my peak. I did take one LH test just to see if I was right about timings. So I’m approx about 4/5 DPO today!

I dunno why but I’m feeling doubtful to be honest 🙈😂 but we’ll see in a few weeks!
