Anyone about to go into an ovulation week?

Hey!

TTC our 2nd been putting it off for a while but this month I’m going to be actively trying and testing LH etc
reading other posts feels as though everyone is already in there TWW this Aug 😂 so looking for company, anyone whose still waiting for their ovulation week.

I only used BBT when falling pregnant with my first but haven’t being doing it as regularly as I did back then.
Ive been trying to take my temp the past couple of weeks and natural cycles predicting ovulation on Weds!
what’s everyone plan of attack? 😂 I’m going to use LH strips from tomorrow onwards and as soon as I get my peak start DTD! Very sceptical it’ll happen this month with it being the first official month of trying but we shall see!
Hoping for some company if anyone is at a similar stage in their cycle?

@CosmoMango absolutely so clear that line. Mines stark white and I'm 10dpo aswell. Mine and @Mama09876 don't look like yours so congratulations. Nerve wracking times I know but it looks like it's your month . Please stay on here keep us updated as I'm back to square 1 after my af on Monday

@CosmoMango that looks positive. Congrats I hope it sticks. What do you think happened this cycle? Do you think you ovulated early but just missed it? Did you experience ovulation cramps?

To be honest you deserve it the amount of times you dtd you absolutely covered everything there. I think I'll need to step it up🤣

No idea what happened @Renee33 we were on holiday so I wasn't paying as close attention. I also don't usually get noticeable ovulation cramping. I had a bit of a sore back on CD13/14 but we averaged 34,000 steps a day whilst away so I just linked it to that.
We used conceive plus lubricant every day also not sure if it made a difference (cost a fortune)

@CosmoMango there is defo a line on all of them!! Omg this is amazing! See you caught it! I hope it shows darker for you in the next couple of days.

I got this clear blue this afternoon. Terrified something will go wrong but have booked an early scan for 3 weeks time and will tell work tomorrow I think

Hello ladies! Mind if I join? TTC 1st time. I'm in roughly the same place with my dates - ovulated on 16th according to tracker app and got the usual ovulation pains that day. I feel like my body is gaslighting me at the moment! I had a pulling sensation left side 5+6dpo then 2 hours of cramps 6dpo, ever since then the pulling feeling has turned into a more subtle 'solid' sensation and I've been super gassy, occasional cramps, boobs sore and little bits of nausea/metallic taste etc. But 9,10,11dpo pregnancy tests have all been stark white negative. I know I just need to wait for AF next week now before I do anymore tests but the feeling that my body is playing tricks on me is horrible! Plus I want to know if I can let my hair down this weekend to deal with the stress haha! Anyway it's been so reassuring to see there's loads of other women out there in the same boat so I thought I would make the leap and do a first post! Got my fingers and toes crossed for all of you!

Hi oh I feel exactly same! Tummy feels horrendous today feels like an alien is in there. I'm still testing negative too 11dpo af definitely brewing. I think test would be positive by now so I'd just let your hair down. It's great this chat...you're definitely not on your own few people feeling like you are right now we can all keep each other company

@Itonlytakesone yes agreed it’s so lovely to have others along for the ride. I agree I think it’s a true negative, but so strange as I don’t get period cramps or pre-menstrual symptoms and as it’s 1st time trying we’re feeling pretty relaxed about things/expecting to have to DTD on the regular for at least 6 months… so I’m stunned I’m getting all these false signs :(

Welcome @Pinkflamingo77 we can all go mad and over analyse everything together 😂We're 3 months in to TTC our 1st.
I also ovulated on 16th so AF due Sunday and desperately trying to hold off on testing, I've had on & off cramping but nothing too consistent, my stomach just feels really heavy, but again I know that could be due to AF being due.
I've had literally no other symptoms at all so i'm pretty convinced nothing has happened this month, although my BBT is still high, when it would usually have started coming down by now. Think i'm going to test on Sunday & see!

@LuckyDuck93 you’ve got more willpower than me! I’ll keep everything crossed for you for Sunday. I think my BTT has been up too I think (37.6) but I have no idea what my normal is so it’s a pretty pointless exercise. So glad to not be alone in my over thinking of the cramps/twinges! I’ve never wanted to see AF (or not?!) so much! It’s so funny after 18 years of trying desperately to not be pregnant now suddenly it’s the opposite!!!

@Pinkflamingo77 I said exactly the same to my husband, you spend your whole school life being told about contraception and how easy it is to get pregnant, but actually it's the total opposite!

Think I’m out this month ladies, bbt has dropped right down and cramping has really started this morning!

Sorry to hear @LuckyDuck93 I hope you’re doing ok. It took my sister and my two best friends 5 months of trying before they got their babies. I’ve got my fingers and toes crossed for you for next time x

I know that 3 months of trying is really only a drop in the ocean to some people, so remaining positive with it! 😊

I haven’t been bbt as I’m away and haven’t had my watch on so not sure what my rhr is doing. It’s quite nice just not knowing to be honest! I’m due today and could come on at any point. Expecting af to arrive today or tomorrow.

AF arrived this morning as expected, ah well, on to another month, I’ve definitely noticed my cycles becoming more regular after coming off the pill a year ago, so there are positives too.
I think I might not monitor bbt after ovulation this cycle, might just be nice to not focus on it too much.

My af due tomorrow I can feel it brewing too. Iv felt so crampy and awful this month though I'm looking forward to 2 weeks rest!

I’ve been feeling a bit nauseous the last couple of days but forcing myself not to POAS until tomorrow when AF is due and I’ll be 14dpo. This tww business is such a rollercoaster!

I hope it's good news for you. Iv felt nauseous last couple days I'd given up testing but just did one still negative just think it's pmt for me I feel bloated and horrible

I'm only 6DPO today but felt a few twinges/mild cramps. Hard to know if I get them usually but don't usually notice them. So hard not to symptom spot!

How are you today @Pinkflamingo77 , did you manage to wait to do a test?

Hey Luckyduck :) yes was proud of myself for not testing over the weekend…was hoping the self control might be rewarded but alas BFN today and 5 mins later AF arrived in all her glory haha. Fingers crossed for next month. How are you doing? Did AF come as expected for you?
