Morning everyone! I am new to MN, as of yesterday, and delighted to find there is no badydancing on this thread...phew!

I've been TTC for 2 years now, just come on this morning, which means I will be starting Clomid tomorrow (ya boo!), which means I finally have to accept that yes...Ah'm BARREN! (wailed in an American 'hick' type accent, like in Raising Arizona!).

However, due to comments from yesterday's thread, I have diagnosed myself as having a short Luteal Phase (I'm sure my doctor will be delighted I've taken the work out of it for her :-) ), so I shall start experimenting and temping this month to see what happens.

OOOOO had to come back on! Just went to loo before leaving house for work and wiped self, felt very wet. Looked at toilet paper and big clump of what can only be described as that EWCM stuff!!! Am so happy This must mean my body is working! Tummy feels a little crampy too today. Help ladies! Does this mean I have probably ovulated and AF should be on her way?? I need to go to work now but had to come on and share the happiness!!

EWCM is a very good sign of OV, but especially in such a long cycle, it can happen without OV, if it is OV EWCM periods should be upon you in the next couple of weeks, unless a BFP beats it!!!

Kay GRRRRRRRRRRR at your MIL, she sounds like a right piece of work. There really is no pleasing some people, so don't bend over backwards to please her. Is there anyone else who could have DS for you, even some of the time?

I have just worked out I am on CD12, this cycle is flying by, I bet give it a few days, I'll OV, and then it will gooooo soooooooooooooo slowwwwwwwwwlyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.

DS1 and 2 are sat on the sofa having a cuddle together, both mesmerised by Tom and Jerry, chuckling away to each other, awwwwwww

Geordie, sorry that you talk didn't go that well. Money is such a shitty reason for waiting but sometimes needs must. We are waiting purely for financial reasons and I hate it. We simply do not have enough money for me to be on about a 1/3 of my salary for mat leave, particuarly as I do not want to go back full time after, so its not as if we could "get by" for a few months, its a permanent cut in income. Now I know we will never have enough money and there is no way I will be paying off our credit cards in the near future they are far too bad for a quick fix, more an ongoing project! Having said all that, we do need to have enough money to get by, so its finding a balance. Once our loan finishes next year and I finish paying off my car next year too we will be ok, so that is when I can be on mat leave. Its not quite as comfortable as I would like but it is realistically do-able, so we have worked back 9 months from when they will be paid off to give us a ttc date of Sept. Obviously we are not expecting to get pg right away but it is possible, so we want to make sure we can afford it!

Cosmos, the signs sound promosing, maybe you have finally ov'd! I seem to get crampy feelings around the time of ov as well as lots of EWCM!
