Hello! Anyone just starting their TWW? There's a couple of other TWW threads going but it feels like they're a bit older now with people testing already. I'm 2DPO - anyone else early on?!

Hi @May100 I'm so sorry to hear about how hard your journey has been. You're doing the right thing by staying positive but I can imagine that's not always easy/possible. I've got everything crossed for you for this cycle. Is this your first baby?

I think I will take tomorrow’s temp and if it’s low again just wait for AF. I think I’m out though anyway by this point. May as well save the test for next month.

@May100 oh no, that’s a long time. Well I hope this cycle is good news for you. It’s good that your hormones seam to have levelled out.

@imy yeah first one so it's been super hard. Definitely had some down times. I spoke too soon about 8dpo. Now I have pms cramps again 🤦‍♀️. The things us girls have to go through x

Ladies, I’ve just done another test (I’ve done 3 today, I’ve got issues 🤣) this one was a Boots early detection test and there was a vvvvvvvvvfl, like soooo faint. However, I’ve been reading and apparently they are the worst tests for indent lines! Has anyone used them or had any experience with them before? I read hundreds of bad reviews after I had bought them, so I’m thinking this is an indent line 🙈🤷🏼‍♀️

@May100 sorry to hear what a tough time you are having. @May100 absolutely right that’s it’s crazy what us girls have to go through! I’m at CD2 today and am keeping my fingers crossed for this cycle

Morning all! I was negative again this morning so counting myself out now. I think my only hope is if I ovulated on the second peak this month but I think it's unlikely. So I'm going to put this out of my mind now until I ovulate next! Good luck to anyone else testing today 🤞🤞

@imy im also negative today. In all three of my pregnancies it’s happened the first month and I’ve been positive from now. I’m really gutted. Since my last miscarriage my periods are horrific too so now I’ve got that to look forward too.

If you are only 9dpo, it wouldn't show up yet though would it?

On first response it says that they detect 96% of pregnancies at 9DPO and I had a light but very clear line on a FRER (and at easy@home) at 9DPO with my daughter. I'm not sure I've seen people on here to have negatives at 9DPO on a FRER and then go on to get a positive. Would love to be wrong! But I can't really convince myself that I still have a chance. My only hope is that i ovulated on my second peak in which case I'd be 7DPO today so I will probably test again because of that!

I'm sorry that you're in the same boat @Nic2908 and @Bonniexx ! I have a mini bottle of champagne in the fridge and my plan was to have that if I got a negative test. I'm not well today so can't do that yet but when I'm better I'll be straight on it! Hope you can find a little way to treat yourself too.

@imy ive not had a hot bath for two weeks so my plan is to have a nice hot bubble bath.

I just did some more research on two peaks and lots of websites actually do say you ovulate on the second one... not sure it's a good thing to give myself more hope but I am holding onto it!

Absolutely. If we can’t have hope during TTC than what can we have.

Yeah, your LH peak is your body trying to ovulate. If your body doesn't ovulate with that peak, it will try again, which causes the second LH peak. Then you're likely to ovulate in the second peak 👍🏻

Fingers crossed I still have a chance then! I've done a LOT of googling (as I'm unwell I'm just sitting around and have not much to distract me!) and there is some conflicting information, but most of the more official looking websites do say exactly what you've said.

AF arrived for me today, making my LP 10 days long rather than 13 that it used to be. I had a glass of wine. Now onto the next cycle.
