Hello! Anyone just starting their TWW? There's a couple of other TWW threads going but it feels like they're a bit older now with people testing already. I'm 2DPO - anyone else early on?!

Gosh what a journey @LucyCL ! Really hope it gets easier for you. This is just month two TTC and it's our second baby so I'm feeling relaxed about it all. I'm definitely impatient to test but won't be too disappointed if this isn't our month.

People have the same reaction when they knew I had 2 MCs. 😀Thank you! I am still being cautiously hopeful however I now have no more expectations. I will take it day by day. I wish you good luck and I am also going to be chilled if AF arrives. One step forward for my body to heal from CP is always good.

@imy that was good timing getting the peak the day your dh returned. Good luck and I hope it’s positive news for you.

This is our first proper cycle trying, we tried last cycle but just guessed at ovulation for a relaxed approach while adjusting from stopping the mini pill and we completely missed the window (I worked it out once AF arrived). So now I’m back to tracking after seeing how easy it was to completely miss the window. I would at least like us to be in with a chance each month.

I’m 6dpo and I have woken up with a horrible cold. I have caught it from my ds. I thought I was escaping it but apparently not. I just hope that it doesn’t interfere with a potential implantation.

Hi everyone, can I join please! 🙋🏼‍♀️ I’m on cycle number 11, currently 4DPO. I’ve had 2 miscarriages, no children. I’m a serial tester…will try not to test too early this month but I’m sure I will cave. Baby dust to everyone xx

Welcome @Bonniexx sorry to hear about your miscarriages. Hopefully you will have good news soon, in terms of both a bfp and pregnancy.

@Bonniexx I will likely just wait until AF is supposed to arrive, so I think that’s 13dpo. Do you know when you will test?

I have a cold so I likely wouldn’t tell the difference. I guess my boobs are slightly sensitive but I had that last cycle and AF turned up. Do you have any?

I have no idea where I have said what anymore. We only dtd once in the fertile window this time, the day before ovulation. So we have a chance but I guess a smaller chance than dtd multiple times in the window.

I’m only 4dpo and I’m dying to pee on a stick. Defo won’t make it past 7 days I don’t think. Which is so cruel isn’t it because I know it won’t show anything

@Nic2908 same here! I’ve just bought a box of 20 cheap tests from Amazon that are arriving tomorrow and I’m pretty sure I will use one 🤣

Today I had a sore right boob and lots of cm which I don’t normally have, but I don’t know if it’s too early to be anything pregnancy related, I’m still only 4DPO x

Hi everyone - I’m new to ttc and I’m due to start my period on Friday if not a successful month for us.
just wondered why people would test before their period was due (if usually regular) as tests are so
so so expensive!!

@Bonniexx I don’t know how I manage to avoid them. I did test early the first time and I just got sad seeing the tests and wondering why it wasn’t working. So instead I just think ‘AF will arrive on Tuesday..’ then I’m not as disappointed (still a bit) well not as much as a negative test if that makes sense?

I’ve been testing since 6dpo and it’s all been negative! I can’t resist!

Hi all, hope you are all doing well. I am feeling some major period pains this evening and I'm only 4dpo. I guess that means that my hormones still haven't settled down since my failed ivf because a LP of only 5 or so days is ridiculous :(

@Nic2908 also 4DPO and also can't wait to test! This month I've only got four tests in the house and they're all the more expensive ones (3x FRER and one clear blue ultra early digital) so I don't want to waste them. That's helping a lot! If I had a pack of cheapies it would be much harder!! I've said I'll wait until 9DPO but I will cave at 8DPO because I know it's possible to see something then. I'm with you!!

Hi @Creativepotter welcome! Re early testing - 1. You can get much cheaper tests. Lots of people like Premom which you can get on Amazon for much less than the brands in Boots etc. 2. Most early testers test from 8 or 9DPO when you can get a result on the early tests. With first response, it says they pick up 76% of pregnancies at 5 days before your period and 98% at 4 days before. I personally couldn't bear knowing that I could find out on a test and not doing it!! I found out I was pregnant with my daughter at 9DPO on a Premom cheapie test 😊

Sorry @Creativepotter I meant easy@home not Premom on my last post about cheapie tests. But lots of people DO use Premom.

Been there! I'm 4DPO so still a way away but will test this weekend (I'm saying I'll wait until 9DPO on Sunday but I bet I'll break at 8DPO). Im busy at work this week so it's quite a nice distraction.
