morning ladies, hope your all doing ok. I had a telephone call back from the hospital to say that I can still have my appt on the 9th June but they need to change the time. As it was my DH who talk the call, I will wait until I get my letter to confirm it, as he always gets messages mixed up!
sparkly how's your temp today? (said a while ago, it could be a cp or a breakthrough bleed) still looks like that, although if it is a cp, you may probably never know without testing.(would be fantastic if it was a breakthrough bleed, hope your temps goes up and stays up)x
glad your diet is going well, can't stand them either, I adore food, especially stuff that's not very good for you
scully glad to hear from you, we have had a couple of days of sunshine here,I heard one TV presenter calling it a 'heat-wave'
that's a joke, still had rain here yesterday
(and some due today!)My back garden is still very much on the soft side, hasn't dried out properly since we had all that rain last summer. fingers crossed that we will get a proper summer here this year.
mibbes glad you had a nice break. You sound a little like action girl, with all the things that you did. I bet you will find the labour really easy, just one big push and miblet will be out!
Tink hope your temp is still up
squack hello, don't think I have spoken to you before, how are you today?
Ei where are you, are you still 'msn'ing? hope your ok x
fruity I love taking my LO on picnic's, not as much fun though if you have to watch them eating all the 'goodies' hope your diet works out ok, isn't the GI diet supposed to help with your PCOS?

scully · 10/05/2008 07:34

Don't think I could stick to that Sparkly, well done if you manage to I have done WeightWatchers twice and lost what I wanted to both times, found it pretty easy to stick to as well, apart from the lack of alcohol
Hope it warms up for you Emmsy and your appt letter arrives soon. Happy to see you back on here
I'm ok Mollie, thx for ask. Feel like I've dealt with the emotional side of things, just want my body to bloody hurry up and finish everything, have been left hanging for the past month now which is frustrating But the upside to that is we've had time to heal emotionally I guess.
Quiet night at home tonight, dh has 'man flu'

Squack · 10/05/2008 07:37

Hi Emmsy, fine today, just frustrated and impatient. No news there then lol.

Have no clue what is going on but still no period and no +ve test.

SparklyGirlFriday · 10/05/2008 07:38

Oh God...I don't know what to think now. What would happen to my temp if it was a CP? Would it be dropping by now? Also, a breakthrough bleed wouldn't be like a normal period would it?
Emmsy Hope DP is right. It's less than a month until your scan if he is . How exciting.

SparklyGirlFriday · 10/05/2008 08:38

DP gone to buy a test. I know it's going to be BFN but I think I should test with weirdo temps.

josiejellybean · 10/05/2008 09:02

oh bum sparkly im so sorry.

FruitynNutty · 10/05/2008 10:24

Morning girls

Wow Tink Fab news, you did know didnt you That's why you were so confident! I wish we all had that 6th sense when on 2ww - would save a lot of money on tests!

Sparkly maybe start a thread of your own, you might get some more answers? Sorry about BFN

Emmsy Oh I hope your DH didnt get mixed up! Bloody men Yes the GI diet is really supposed to help with PCOS, shame it's so boring and lacks in sweet treats (I'm a real sweet fiend!) The great thing about being a Childminder is the summer, we spend all the lovely days out in the sun having picnics with some great childminder friends of mine

My temp is still very high. I must admit I've cheated a bit This morning I took out the "secondary" bit for the day they changed my ov to. (TMI)It was HSO but now I think about it, I dont know how HSO is really was so I just deleted it. Now FF have returned my original ov date to me Dont know if that was a good idea or not So I'm back to a nice and healthy 9DPO I'm such a cheat!

sorry for bfn sparkly

cricri · 10/05/2008 12:35

Just popping in to see how everybody is doing
Congratulations Tink, wonderful news
Sparkly Sorry to hear about bfn and that your body is messing you around.
Mollie Glad you're sounding cheerful despite AF being here. Have a great time getting leathered tonight - have one (or more!) for me won't you...
Emmsy Good to "see" you
Scully Hope the acupuncture works and you can get back to ttc asap. However, as you say, the break may have helped. I'm continuing to have acupuncture - just once a month now but I think it's doing me good.
I'm in France at the mo for a week and the weather here isn't great - it was 25 degrees when we left Stansted yesterday and 18 and spitting when we arrived! Hope it improves soon.
Hello to everybody else I've not mentioned, good luck to all of you on the diet and enjoy the weekend.

Emmsy1 · 10/05/2008 23:54

Tink congratulations, I think we all knew it with your super duper temps! your due date is usually worked out from your first day of last period but if you have had exceptionally long periods you will probably be out by a couple of weeks. To get an estimate of your due date just go back 14 days prior to ov, this will be as near as you can get before you have your dating scan.

sparkly sorry you had a bfn when I had my 2 previous m/c my temps dropped before I m/c, but my hpt was still positive.(still a slight possibility that there's just not enough hcg produced to show up on a hpt)I have heard of cases where girls dont get a bfp until 2 weeks after AF due. Sorry, don't really want to get your hopes up incase your body is just playing tricks with you, big hug sent your way xxx
cricri hi hun, thanks for the invite to the knicker thread, haven't been on for a few days but will def keep popping in. how is your pregnancy going, any symptoms yet? my sickness has completely gone now,and my energy levels have definately improved, still get out of breath quite easily but not as tired. Got so much to do (DIY) before I get too big and tired again, DH never does the DIY, tells me he cant cos he's left handed he's used that excuse for many thing over the years!
squack when was your AF due? do you know when you ovulated? what is your normal LP? and lastly have you been temping?

SparklyGirlFriday · 11/05/2008 08:07

Morning ladies,
Temp gone up again. Went to a baby warming shower last night for one of my friends. She's due in about 7 weeks and has a beautiful big bump. Sat in her garden and had a few glasses of wine (3) from 5-10pm and nibbles. Pretty sure that little over such a long period of time wouldn't affect my temp but who knows?
Josie Hi hun!! xx
Fruity How is temp today? Only 9 days until testing
Cricri Have a lovely break. Hope the weather improves.
Emmsy What are you doing up so late on a Saturday evening . I knew it would be BFN but am still confused as to why temp is still up. Guess i'll just have to sit it out. Had a lot more spotting yday.

Tink Forgot to say that I took you off the list but thought you might like to graduate yourself

mibbes · 11/05/2008 09:52

Emmsy LOL at action girl and 1 push - here's hoping ! So glad your scan appt hasn't been moved back - when is it ?
Sparkly So sorry for BFN But what on earth is your chart all about ? I'd agree with Emmsy maybe wait a few days and if it hasn't dropped below coverline test again - very strange... My scan is on Friday - getting very nervous as apart from tender boobs at night I don't feel PG atall...
OMG Congrats tink it was a long wait for you (although not as long as our lovely Fruity) but you got there in the end - hurray ! If you want to get your real date count 14 days back from ov and use that as start of LMP - otherwise the fact that you ov'd late (well late as in not at CD14 as per an average cycle) will mess up your dates.
Fruity glad your temps are still high - I have to say I think CD38 or CD39 look more like a real ov rise but then who am I to questiom good old FF !

Squack · 11/05/2008 12:13

Hmm, I would've said cd39 as well Fruity, but what do I know, I have no blimmin' clue about me own chart so I'm not really the best person to comment on yours lol

MollieMooma · 11/05/2008 16:27

Tink Congratulations
Sparkly Sorry about bfn
Hi to Emmsy & CriCri how are you doing little pregnant ladies?
Fruity How's your cheat day going?

Hi to everyone else, just a quick catch up as I'm dying with a hangover (still!) Back to the sofa for some more lounging.
x

cricri · 11/05/2008 18:53

Sounds like it was a good night Mollie Glad you made the most of it.
Everything is fine here, thanks for asking. I've got a small bump now and can no longer fit into my normal trousers so it's becoming more real. My next scan is not until 19 June so quite a long time to wait. I'm not as worried as I was before the 12-week scan, but I hope everything is still OK with the bean!
DH and I went out for lunch with my gran today and I really struggled to find something I could eat on the menu! They had to give me a salad instead of the cheese course as none of the cheeses were pasteurised... France is not the best country to visit when pg! Still, the sun is shining and it's hot today so all is well
Sparkly Any news?
Hope everybody else is OK and that you're still having lovely weather in the UK too.

SparklyGirlFriday · 11/05/2008 20:01

Evening ladies. This weather is so beautiful!! We spent the day in the garden and had a bbq whilst DD splashed in the paddling pool. I love the heat .

Mibbes Don't be worrying about lack of symptoms. I'm sure everything is fine. Only a few days until you get to see your bean for the first time...how exciting!! No idea what is going on with my chart - it's annoying isn't it. Spotting stopped today though.
Fruity Have you been pigging out today?
Mollie Hope you had fun last night. [hugs] for hangover!!
Cricri My DP's best mate has a place in Paris which we visted a few times whilst I was pg with DD. I don't think French women follow the same strict rules as we do. Everytime I saw a French lady with a bump she had a glass of red in one hand, a cigarette in the other and a plate of all the things we are instructed not to eat on her table. I remember asking for a well cooked steak and it had hardly stopped moving when it was brought to me.....hope you manage to find something tasty to eat!! No news at all - temp high and bleeding seems to have stopped but no symptoms. Chart is here
