Hey Bucky you're absolutely right about temping with PCOS, also OPK's and the ferning thing and, quite frankly, anything else that might give you a clue about ovulation is completely wasted on us PCOSers . But, it gives me a small sense of control. For instance, on CD13 I was absolutely convinced I had/was about to ovulate as I had all the common symptoms (I wont go into detail but you can imagine! check out my chart). However, I knew I hadnt ov'd because I had no temp rise. If I hadnt been temping I'd have just assumed I had ov'd and got all excited about it. Attila's great she gives fantastic advise on the PCOS thread. I know I can get pregnant as I have my DS but it just takes a hell of a long time and can be virtually impossible without assistance. I think it depends on how bad the PCOS is.

I'm about to go and make myself some yummy warming soup. I'm gonna try to have it without bread, I've gotta stop this carb addiction, it's doing nothing for my waistline trouble is I'll be starving again in half an hour ........maybe just one slice wont hurt

I've just come back from personal training session at the gym. It hurt. It helped that the trainer is fit though and I pushed myself because I didn't want him to think I was weak hahaha!!

Sparkly implantation is all I can think ! I don't want to raise your hopes but your LP is too long for today's dip to be pre-AF. Maybe weekend temps were 'under the influence'...? I really hope I'm right ! LP only ever varies by a day, it is usually pretty static. Maybe sod's law will prevail and just as you get a fitness regime sorted you'll have to ease off to look after beany

tink I'd think 4dpo is a bit early for PG symtpoms as egg won't have implemented yet - mind you, you never know !

OMG Sparkly that is a fab post imp rise !!!! When you testing ? TBH I'd be inclined to wait a few days as it is only when the egg imps that hcG starts being made and it may take a few days for the HPT to detect it - maybe Saturday...? I got a very faint line 2 days after my temp rise then proper BFP 2 days after that ! OMG Am soooo excited
AND Bucky you too lady ! temp still rising so close to end of LP is good news - when do you plan to test ?
I will pee my pants if we get 2 BFPs this week

You sneaky ladies checking my chart out before I posted my temp. I didn't come on this morning and took some time to think about temp. Have decided that last month my temp went really high and then dropped for AF. I'm not going to get my hopes up nor test until Monday at least (good aren't I)....
Mibbes Both temps on the weekend were alcohol induced . Would be nice to know what they would have been like. I wonder what my temp will be tomorrow

Sparkly I totally understand you not getting hopes up too much but you didn't have a dip before the rise last cycle... Sorry I'll leave you alone until you have more high temps ! I'm off for the weekend with friends to a cottage in the middle of nowhere in the Scottish Highlands - it is supposed to be a boozy/activity weekend so we have to tell the couple we are going with - first people we'll tell. Am really nervous as they don't want kids and the bloke has already told us he'd be gutted if we ever had a baby - he is a charmer ! So not expecting a great reaction - ideally we'd tell nobody before 12 week scan but there is no way I'll get away with not drinking all weekend . Am actually sad that our wee secret is going to be shared !
Anyway Sparkly you'll get peace as I won't be on here telling you to test ! will be back on Mon to see the result...

That's what hatty said on the Dec AN thread ! I really doubt it - I think the girl will be a wee bit pleased (albeit disappointed that I can't get p!ssed to celebrate her b'day) but the bloke is a very outspoken Aussie and will be very blunt - am really worried hormones make me burst into tears ! Will have to convince DP that he has to break the news and I'll try to compose myself.
Will be itching to get back here to see what has happened over the weekend...

hey guys fruity i wanted to ask you a question hon... im CD10 and still bleeding?! errm is that a sign of PCOS? before i had LO we tried for about 4 years and my cycles were all over 30-90 days but ive never been diagnosed with anything do u think i should just cut my losses and go straight for assisted conception of somesort i dont want to wait another 4 years DH will be nearly 50 by then bless him.??

Hey josie I dont know about the bleeding. My AF's are usually quite light. I think you should go to your GP and see if he'll refer you for a scan as your cycles are very irregular. He'll probably send you off for some blood tests as well. Make sure you really push for the scan if you're worried. Have you ever been diagnosed with an underactive thyroid? You dont need to be overweight to suffer from this and it's usually the cause behind irregular AFs. Very easily fixed too, I just take thyroxine tablets everyday, I'm now slightly over

I've only just got on the laptop cos DP was downloading Windows Vista. I'm knackered now, just watched 'The Core' terrible film! Copy of 'Armageddon' which, although very cheesy, I love - Ben Affleck is quite delicious in it too

Thanks for the hugs JB I really need it from time to time. I try to keep my head up cos I'll go insane if I don't but sometimes it really gets to me. I think I'm starting to accept this whole PCOS crap now. I just wish it wasn't such a long process. I think seeing all these threads about falling pregnant accidently are really getting me down. There seem to be a lot recently, maybe I just notice them more now I dont know.

MS seems to be easing, 3 days and no sickness, not that I am counting My last day was Monday and it was a horror but so far I am doing well, long may it continue.
I have my first anti natal appointment on the 8th, but my scan is not until the 14th. I kinda wish I could have the scan first cos then I wouldn't feel like a fraud at the anti natal. I still don't believe that all is well. Though there have been no signs that everything is Not well, but you know what I mean?

I have told another friend now, but have not come out officially yet. Just those who have been in the know since the start and this one extra person. Again, am waiting until after the scan. Seems weird cos everyone knew by this point with DD.
Mind you it couldn't be much of a secret with HG (Hyperemesis), but still, the whole thing feels so unreal!
And it seems a shame, cos I am never doing this again, so it would be better if it really felt like I was doing something worth remembering. Other than making it through a day without being sick, woohoo.

still very high Sparkly !! temp may go up and down a bit but as long as it stays in high range you have a god chance...
