It's all gone to pot. Got annoyed at Arsenal losing last night and ate half a bag of minstrels and had cheese on toast for lunch today. And I am eyeing up some jammy dodgers as I type. Must. Not. Get. Up.

Well probabyl best to write off today - think I've found an excuse reason for easter egg scoffing yesterday - CD 1 .

So, today started well - porridge
lunch was a picnic on a trip to the farm so sandwiches mainly
scoffed some choc since being home
tonight is to be jambalaya possibly with some red wine as its a special occasion .

Grrrrr.

Ready · 09/04/2008 18:05

That is my problem... the thing is, I don't want to deprive dh of treats just because I am too chubby curvy.
HE bought the minstrels home yesterday for the match!!! Then when I declined one at the end of the packet (I do realise it was too late by then) he wouldn't take no for an answer until I glared at him and said "if I have the power to say no, don't ruin it by being persistent"

roseability · 09/04/2008 20:19

Hi everyone!

Was DS's birthday at the weekend and I made him a very chocolatey chocolate cake, of course I had some oops! Also had too much wine on Friday night. Not looking forward to weigh in on Friday. Also AF arrived today no 2008 baby for me then. So hard to lose weight when you are TTc as well. Going to go to circuits tomorrow night

Love the sound of the makeshift pudding... I sometimes chop up apples and satsumas and bananas and pour a bit of cream over the top for a pudding...

Yet another day of our not-cooking-till-we-move lifestyle. . .

breakfast: 2 eggs on toast, 2 slices back bacon

lunch: 1/2 tuna mayo sandwich, pret crisps, pomegranate power water

dinner: nachos, enchiladas & margaritas at the Texas Embassy

I was good, I only had two margaritas. However, I wish I'd had more, because maybe I'd be able to pass out like DP, who is snoring away next to me now!

Felt awful most of the day as had the most persistant problem with diarrhoea this week! TMI I'm sure, but everything seems to be going straight through so I'm just eating whatever seems to taste good because I've been feeling a bit sick to my stomach along with it. Was bad enough today I had to get some medicine so I didn't spend the day in the loo.

Ready · 10/04/2008 17:16

I'm a bit of a dragon when it comes to breakfast ... I always have cereal, I couldn't imagine being able to do anything if I hadn't eaten breakfast.

I too am bored Lottie bored of not knowing if I have ovulated or not yet

Ready · 10/04/2008 18:44

Just to pre-empt Lottie ... your dinner sounds lush!!! Dh is out today, and as usual, I can never be bothered to cook for just me, so I will have a bowl of cereal. Tut.

my food guzzling today -

breakfast - porridge with raisins (AGAIN)
lunch - pitta with hummous and peppers, cucumber and avacado (AGAIN)
Snacks - too many mini choc and courgette muffins I made with dd and she proclaimed 'I don't like the green bits'
Dinner - lamb stew

If only I could stop the naughty snacks.... that will be my aim next week.

I did a run too. Only about 20 minutes as I was getting back into my running plan after a week or so off with flu.

I have to have breakfast too - don't like cereal though, manage porridge but would rather have toast.

Ready · 10/04/2008 19:03

Guess again Lottie

Breakfast: Cereal with skimmed milk
Snack: Cup of rooibos and 2 jammy dodgers (I'm so predictable)
Lunch: Egg roll, banana, 2 satsumas
Snack: Cup of rooiboss and a few dry crackers (needed savoury)
Dinner: Cereal with skimmed milk

ShayeraHol · 10/04/2008 19:03

Hey guys

Today's food -

Breakfast: muesli (finished the box now, switching to low fat multigrainy thing!)
Lunch: Cheese & tomato sandwich
Snacks: Special K minibites, grapes, brazil nuts and weetabix oatibix minithings
Dinner: Cheese & ham toastie

Mr. Hol has just come back from Sainsburys with a bag of cookies. I'm sad now Anyone got any spare willpower going?

Wheelybug · 10/04/2008 19:03

cocopops ?

Ready · 10/04/2008 19:04

I stopped eating Special K when someone pointed out that it has glucose fructose syrup in it...

Ready · 10/04/2008 19:04

Wheely ... I will give a clue.

Ready · 10/04/2008 19:05

It is Waitrose own brand of a popular Nestle product... but I am boycotting Nestle, so needed to find an alternative

Wheelybug · 10/04/2008 19:05

Wheatabix

Wheelybug · 10/04/2008 19:06

cheerios (dd has waitrose 'multigrain hoops' - not quite so catchy)

Ready · 10/04/2008 19:07

Nope. But are they nice? Cos I have banned dh from Nestle Cheerios
