TTC after chemical pregnancy

I had a MC this Jan , 6 weeks and 1 day. Then I had a CP last Tuesday, 4 weeks and 6 days. I finally stopped bleeding today. Two pregnancies and two MCs so far.

I would like to know what your ttc experiences were like after CP. I admit I felt so lost when I saw the line getting fainter and I have been feeling very low and anxious for the last 7 days. However it is not healthy and it is time to be positive! So, I will be trying again this month. That is why I decided to start this thread.

So easy to get obsessed with the OPKs and gadgets! But you’re right ultimately you just need to make sure you’re BD’ing throughout (side note can’t believe you’ve managed to everyday of your cycle @LucyCL 🤣👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻)

Now showing as high on Premom. Actually lying in bed feeling so nauseous, anyone had this as a sign of ovulation? Wondering if it’s my hormones still being messed up by CP 🤔

Tbh I don't feel anything throughout the mensural cycle however I did feel nauseous when there was a sudden drop in my hormone levels on CD16 of this cycle. I guess a drop in estrogen was the cause of my nausea.
So hormone imbalance could be the reason for you. Hope you will feel better soon!

Can I ask you all a quick question, please?
During my first pregnancy, which turned into a MMC, I had most pregnancy symptoms you could list pretty early on. With my Chemical, last month it was the same. It started with a strong sense of smell at around 11 dpo and by 14 dpo I had a little of everything. My very positive pregnancy test didnt fade like most. It was very much there one morning and totally absent two days later. I still had the symptoms but started to bleed a day after the negative test at 4.6 weeks.
I am just interested to know if anyone else had pregnancy symptoms. I keep reading that you dont get nausia, etc with a chemical but I absolutely did so I am curious.

@Carportforme With my MMC at 9 weeks and my pregnancy with my DD I didn't really have many symptoms until 6 weeks and then the sickness hit like a ton of bricks. With the chemical I had last month I didn't have any symptoms but I found out I was pregnant at 4 weeks and started bleeding at about 4.5 weeks so I didn't really think anything of it iyswim as they didn't start for me until 5.5-6 weeks in previous pregnancies.

Hello, sorry to hear about your MMC and CP. With my CP my pregnancy symptoms started about 3 days after ovulation… I had sickness up until I started bleeding at 4 weeks and 6 days. I also had extreme sense of smell, sore boobs, blocked nose, had to keep napping when I got home from work etc. I had exactly the same throughout my whole first (successful) pregnancy so I know the symptoms well! I also actually found the chemical miscarriage really painful, when I know others don’t even realise it’s not a period. I think everyone is different when it comes to these things! Hope that helps x

For my 1st BFP , 6 weeks and 1 day then MC happened. During the 2ww, maybe around 7 dpo, my boobs started to feel sore and I felt fatigue. I had to nap every day. I did not know they were the pregnancy symptoms so I was surprised to see that faint line on 10 dpo.
For my 2nd BFP, 4 weeks and 6 days, ended up with a CP. During the 2ww, I didn't have any pregnancy symptoms. I thought I was out until I saw that faint line on 10 dpo. I still didn't feel anything until CP happened.

CD26 3/4 dpo evening
LH strip got darker, my pdg shot up which confirms ovulation!

Weirdly I felt really ill during my CP. No pregnancy symptoms really but quite unwell.

10dpo but BFN. I was the same last month and 11dpo had a very faint positive but I’m nervous. Trying to lower my expectations!

Ive searched my stats but other than temperature staying up, which is normal for now anyway, I’ve got nothing else to go on really. RHR & temp didn’t change until after my positive for me last time.

I never pay much attention to the number given. It’s so easily gamed. I just go with the darkest line by eye.

As long as your temp stays up, there is a good chance of getting a faint line on 11 dpo which is tomorrow. How long does your luteal phase last?

Yes, I actually ovulated on 2/7/24.

This is really dark and maybe 0.81 is your normal peak for this cycle. Which CD do you ovulate usually?

OvuSense finally confirmed that 2/7/24 was my O day which matches the day after my LH surge. That makes today officially 4 dpo. 😎

BBT crashed through cover line today, so I expect my period will start tomorrow. A bit gutted, but we’ll go again

what a rollercoaster of emotions. I think I may have had a BFP, but only 10dpo and it’s a squinter. This is my 1st cycle following CP 4 weeks ago so I just feel so anxious. I think all your gadgets are Marvellous @LucyCL and gives a real insight into what is happening. I have been following this thread just not active as I found this month very hard emotionally. I will still be here because atm I’m not fully convinced xx

I didn't get a BFP last cycle but I was happy to get my first real period after CP. The main takeaway is this new cycle will be better and not affected by CP. Your body will be more ready for pregnancy. I feel positive for you! 😀

Hi ladies, I got my smiley face on CB digital OKP on 19th June. Usually the gap between that and my period is 16 days so it should have started on Friday. So far, no sign of it. No pregnancy symptoms and testing negative so I’m assuming I didn’t ovulate despite the surge. Really annoying!!

Please keep us updated tomorrow! I love my gadgets but they also made me become obsessed with figures. I am not going to be like that anymore. I will only use them to see the trend or predict if I will get my AF or I have ovulated.

CD28 5 dpo
The hcg test strip I used yesterday now has an indent and it happened on 9 dpo last cycle. I find them really evil. I will not be fooled anymore.
If not BFP this cycle, then having sex every day is what I will do for the future cycles.

Ah I see. If I were you, I would have done a progesterone test on 7 dpo to confirm the ovulation. Do you do BBT? You might still be able to do a progesterone test to see where you are at the moment.

CD16 - O day according to premom/flo

I think I did peak according to OPKs 🤷🏼‍♀️ but tbh don’t feel like I know enough about this whole process. Clear blue smiley has gone back to a circle after 2 days of being positive.

Have been feeling nauseous since Friday, who knows what’s going on. Do I now count this as day 1 DPO?

It’s so emotionally tough, I’ve struggled everyday of the cycle since CP. Be kind to yourself, and I really hope that BFP stays 🤞🏻 xx
