Fertile now group!!

Hi ladies, I started a thread a couple of cycles ago and found it so helpful chatting to people at exactly the same point so we could go through the TWW together and eventually test together. I think this is cycle 5 of TTC our first (losing track), anyway… I am ovulating around Tuesday and currently have flashing smiley on clear blue OPK, so we’re in the thick of dtd ever day!!! Looking forward to having a little group of cycle buddies for this month… I found last month so awful and had a really low week when AF showed, here’s hoping this month is our month x

@Sarah268 @ThelastRolo20 cool that's as I thought and have read too... I have really upped my running this year, but we're talking 3 times a week and I figure keeping fit and healthy is only a good thing, and it's a 10k not a marathon...

@sirensong LOL at the lazy/four day old sperm 😂 - I hope they get a move on, it only takes one of them dammit!!!

It's weird to think we were each the winners of our race through the improbable hazardous obstacle course. Well done all of us for being the best out of millions.

Omg @sirensong haha love that. Honestly there could be a TV drama made about all the sperm politics! Then the egg finally shows up and decides none of them are her type and runs away 😂

I think if running can keep me sane during this process then I'll carry on. I know quite a few people who have continued through TTC and pregnancy. I think it's just not going to extreme levels. Good luck on your 10k @LoulouM12 !! I'm going to do parkrun tomorrow.

@Sarah268 I've got a lot of respect for an egg that surveys the knackered spluttering sperm at her door and fucks them all off, prefering to die than entertain any of them. Queen.

I'm doing park run too 😊 I continued running during the whole first trimester of my successful pregnancy for what it's worth...and I didn't for the two that didn't work out. Make of that what you will!

@YorkshirePeridot maybe your slightly different cycle is a good sign this time, hope so for you! The crazy ttc dreams are quite unsettling aren't they x

It's definitely possible @CapricornDiaries5194 , I hope you get the chance to dtd but if not I'm pretty sure the days leading up are most important so that the sperm are waiting... we'll I hope this also as dh and I dtd on pos opk day (and days before) then not after x .. oh just read your update, that's great, glad you have made up lol

@Sarah268 that's funny, I am very careful to keep myself in check that important week each month too fir fear of missing my fertile time... didn't realise anyone else did, although tge pms the week before my period kind of makes up for it x

Hope everyone’s having a good weekend. Feels like it’s been about 4 years in this TWW so far!

I don’t know if anyone else does BBT but I’m finding it’s sending me a bit crazy. Overanalysing every reading. Yesterday it dropped a lot at 3DPO and I was super stressed trying to understand why. It’s gone up a bit today.

Finally entering the tww. 2 dpo today feeling hopeful for this cycle 🙈

How early will any of you first test??

I'm now 1DPO. EWCM has straightaway changed to creamy, I guess that's my fertile window slamming shut.

Woke up to some spotting this morning, was a little alarmed before I realised that at 7dpo the timing fits with implantation? 🤞 Not going to get my hopes up too much but let's see how the next few days go.

@LoulouM12 I'm going to wait until next Saturday to test, which will be 12dpo.

@YorkshirePeridot wow nerves of steel... I'm not sure I can wait that long to test. I will prob test earlier as have some with the Easy@Home strips... 7DPO would defo tally with implantation bleeding so crossing all my fingers for you!

I'm 3DPO and it's so hard not to try and symptom spot each day!! 🤔

@LoulouM12 less nerves of steel and more to do with not being a morning person and having a busy job, so I don't have the mental capacity on a weekday to both deal with psyching myself up for work and processing the results of a test 😆 much more headspace on a weekend.

Mine too due on 17th looks like we are cycle buddies 😊.
I am trying to hold at least till 7 dpo
