hi all,
help! Symptom spotting way too early need a reality check.
I have back ache, weird crampy feelings and my bbs are beginning to get really sore.
I do this to myself every month and its driving me crazy!
ooh - and nosebleeds
ooh - and felt sick this morning and yesterday morning!
ooh - and really sensitive to smell the last day or so.

and with myself cos it just hurts more when AF comes.
Please help a sad, desperate woman on the verge of an enormous bar of Galaxy...

(also suffering from smiley addiction in this post)

MollieMooma · 25/06/2008 16:53

Lou Well at least your on CD28 so we can excuse you! They all sound very positive though so I shall be excited for you. How long is your cycle normally, when is AF due? We all do this bloody symptom spotting and I'm sure half of mine are pyschological, so don't beat yourself up about it, it's only natural and all part of the delicious 2WW I personally say sit down and eat the huge bar of galaxy, in fact have an extra bit just for me as I'm weighing for the first time at WeightWatchers tonight!

loustillwantsaBFPtoo · 25/06/2008 17:06

cycle is on average 34 days, so am a bit early to get so excited. Didnt get a BFP till day 38 on my first PG. Just want it to work this time. Fed up with being the "childless" one of my friends.
good luck with weightwatchers mollie

QueenyEisGotTheBall · 26/06/2008 00:47

hi ladies

QueenyEisGotTheBall · 26/06/2008 00:50

2ww/symptom spotters thread here it is hun and everyone is lovely on there too its nice to talk about the symptoms i think as it makes them more real for me if you see what i mean as my DH thinks its almost always in my head (which it prob is!!) ah well i think yours are real and mean something lovely too
xx ei xx

emma2617 · 26/06/2008 09:40

Ei no news yet...I am going to test again tomorrow. CD39 and still no sign of AF so who knows!! I am still really tired, but to top tihngs off I have now developed an ear infection!! Oh well, I am jumping back on the positive thinking wagon as I have had a really down week and I even started to annoy myself!!

How is everyone this morning?!

MollieMooma · 26/06/2008 11:50

Emma I admire your will power girl! Fingers crossed for tomorrow

It's been quiet on here lately, hope everyone is OK?

Nothing much to report from me, just a bit of symptom spotting but tryng not to get my hopes up only to have them dashed!

Glasto What's happening with you hun, have you had the second lot of results from DH's test?

to Blackrock EI Scully and everyone else x

Lou Any more symptoms today?

loustillwantsaBFPtoo · 26/06/2008 13:06

Hello,
as far as symptoms go, boobs are even more tender today, which hasnt happened for a few months. Also seem to have lost my mind...
managed to double book my reflexology session with looking after my friends 8 week old little girl!
interesting! xx

blackrock · 26/06/2008 20:15

I'm symptom spotting on day 16 ! Maybe I'm not busy enough! I don't think symptom spotting beyond day 28 is irrational at all, but day 16 is just desperate .

Have got seriously serious about the next six months. i am going to the next appointment seriously prepared if nothing happens beforehand. I have started monitoring temperature, vital signs, BD days, etc on fertility friend and plan to print it off before the next app! Hopefully soething will happen before then.

Goodluck for tomorrow Emma
Mollie weightwatchers is fab, I lost three stone with their helping hand.

FruitynNutty · 26/06/2008 20:58

Evening ladies it's me Fruity. Just popping in to say hi I'm so pleased you haven't knocked me off the list for not being in here for ages
How lovely to see such a long graduate list
I haven't looked at all the posts because it would take me about 6 months to get through this lot. I will try my best to keep up though this time
I hope you're all well and well done for soldiering on with TTC. I'm practically ready to give up but I'm not quite ready yet I'm hanging on in there!
PCOS really gets me down (nearly 11 months TTC and only on 5th menstrual cycle ) but I've got a scan at the end of July and seeing the consultant in August.
If I'm not given Clomid in August then I'll be begging anyone with any spare (of course after your BFP) to send it on down to me

MollieMooma · 26/06/2008 21:24

Fruity There's no way we'd take you off hun! Nice to see you in here again
I'm hoping you'll get Pipers clomid in the post very shortly!!!!

HopingCat · 26/06/2008 21:33

Hi,

Am glad I'm not the only one symptom spotting. Last time I got a BFP on CD24, but the line was really faint and even the nurse at GPs said I needed a 'more positive line'. I told myself I wouldn't test that early again, but am losing my resolve the closer I get and have now bought some ultra early HPTs. Does everyone else manage to wait until AF is due/late before testing?

HC x

emma2617 · 27/06/2008 08:49

Hey Ladies!!! I tested again this morning and got a faint BFP on an asda test (i got a stark BFN on same one last week). But it is very faint...at 28DPO shouldn't it be darker?!

I am seeing the nurse today to have my blood tests for thyroid function (?!) so I might ask her and see what she says.

Oh well...I am STILL in limbo!

How is everybody doing this morning?!

MollieMooma · 27/06/2008 10:08

Emma I am whispering congratulations, as we've all said before I don't think you can get a false positive so a + is a +
I would definately speak to the nurse later and let us know what she says, Good luck

emma2617 · 27/06/2008 12:10

Well I am back!! The nurse did a uring pg test which was BFN, to be expected as I only got a faint BFP with FMU!

But she has taken bloods for HCG and I am going again on Thursday for mor HCG bloods to see if they can detect a rise...and therefore pregnancy!! I should get the results on 8th July...at least now I can know one way or the other!

MollieMooma · 27/06/2008 12:37

Good Grief Emma I've never known such a drama just to decide if your pg or not I bet your really frustrated!! Don't forget to come on here and moan if you get fed up with all this messing about

blackrock · 27/06/2008 19:22

Wow Emma, at least you have a day to wait for now...you must have much of the patience type dust floating around you right now!

I have had a recommendation for secondary infertility referral in six months through in the post this morning... good to know i am on the list for help if nothing happens.

BD with a specific purpose is sooooo.... unromantic and a real passion killer!

blackrock · 29/06/2008 16:45

Sorry. Think I have offended everyone . Was feeling sorry for myself and DH on Friday. Probably need to ease off TTC mind set for a bit, relight the fire without lurking thoughts the next day! Sorry again

loustillwantsaBFPtoo · 29/06/2008 18:23

Oh blackrock no offence taken here! totally understand your'passion killer' feelings.
Have been busy and desperately symptom spotting!
No AF as yet! Not that i'm getting excited at all.
DH keeps gently sighing at me as i come out with 'ooh my boobs/back/legs hurt!' or 'my temp is still really high!' and to top it off 'these crampy feelings dont feel like AF pains you know'
Poor bloke, he wont say anything as he knows what i'm like! whatever he says will be the wrong thing...
how is everyone else doing?
xxxx

Am on CD23 of a 24 cycle so expecting period tomorrow or Wednesday.

Just got back from Glastonbury and grateful that I didn't get my period there! HAd a great time, amm only 8dpo because of my cycle so I won't bother testing unless I am late.

Hope all are well?

MollieMooma · 30/06/2008 10:50

Blackrock Please dont' think we were offended, think it's been incredibly quiet in here
Beanie So glad TEW didn't visit whilst you were away, most consider of her for a change
Lou Still sympton spotting I see, snap, really stupidly convinced myself this week, and gave in and tested this morning BFN now feel really stupid and hating myself for a) giving in and b) talking myself into pg symptons
Oh well AF due tomorrow, at least that will put an end to the misery, roll on next cycle!
Hope everyone else is well?
