Hi girls, I know some of you might remember me and some I recognise from Emmsy's thread, I took a little time off but I'm ready to go back on the stats, for those that don't know me been ttc for 2 years for our first, had an mm/c in Jan 08 still not so patiently trying. Only put cycles since m/c on as it's too depressing to put all the others on!

Tink congratulated you on the other thread, but congrats here too.
Littlesquirt Congratulations!

Im sorry meant Littlesquirt - sorry Beanie, my brain is pants today although i am wishing you get a BFP soon too!
please forgive my DUHness today!

Ei thinking of you, sorry about the AF witch.
enjoy the maltesers...

Emma - we dont all know what we are doing, honest! the support on here is great, my only advice would be "try not to obsess"
(Lou is ROFL, tears streaming down face at the impossibility of what she just said!)

Seriously, have fun trying before you get too involved in temping and stuff, but vitamins def good idea. Hopefully it will not take too long for your body to sort itself out, and get you a BFP.
Good Luck!

everyone else - how are you all doing today? melting in the heat?

glastochick · 12/05/2008 16:07

Sorry to hear TEW got you Ei, and Molliemooma, I'm sorry about your MMC.

Am sitting here at work feeling very bored wishing AF would hurry up so I can start the next cycle. I find the 2WW so long whereas the two weeks beforehand seem to go so quickly. Feel sure AF will arrive again this month and I have even less symptoms than usual!

MollieMooma · 12/05/2008 16:16

Glasto It's crap all this waiting isn't it, wait for OV, wait for AF, wait for OV, wait for AF I am so coming back as a man next time around!

josiejellybean · 12/05/2008 17:23

hey girls emma i think im in same boat as you with the swoting up i baught a thermomiter and joined FF to learn about temping, i hope it helps. I also baught OPK's i hope it helps get a BFP!
CONGRATS littlesquirt im made up for you
sorry she got you ei

glastochick · 12/05/2008 17:47

You are so right molliemooma . All these months, too, I've been convincing myself the problem lies with me. I hate being in the dark and not knowing what is happening (control freak, moi? ), and waiting until 1 year is up before going to the Dr about it is sooo annoying. And then, when us ladies do go to a Dr if we get taken seriously we have to go through all sorts of tests while all DHs/DPs have to do is give themselves a little handjob!

Woe is the fate of the modern woman!

glastochick · 13/05/2008 09:14

Morning molliemooma . The Pimms was delicious. Had rather too much so was tipsy by the time DH came home and I found it rather difficult getting out of the deckchair without falling over!

MollieMooma · 13/05/2008 10:10

Glasto LOL at the idea of you falling out the deckchair! Sort of thing I'd do! Glad you enjoyed yourself though.

JustJaamy · 13/05/2008 14:08

LOL glasto - those deckchairs are notoriously badly designed...couldn't have been the Pimms!

Ei - sorry to see you at the top of the list. Was hoping that because you had gone a bit quiet and had missed bingo you were maybe gonna make a little announcement. Oh well, you'll be able to join me on the Feb 09 thread. This will be our month!

Hello mollimooma! Welcome back. Hoping your stay will be a brief one before a swift move on to the Antenatal threads.

SparklyPilaPala · 13/05/2008 14:08

Emma Have you joined fertility friend? It's a website where you can put in your temps and it confirms ovulation. Are you using OPKs?
LS and Tink How are you both feeling? Has it settled in yet?
Lou [waves]
Mollie Nice to see you here too.
Glasto I really want some pimms now
BS Any news from you?
Hi to everyone else.

JustJaamy · 13/05/2008 14:10

Hi Sparkly! If you're round here in 5, we'll crack open the Pimms together. Otherwise it will be just another day of stopping DDs from fighting and dragging all their outside!

JustJaamy · 13/05/2008 14:11

...all their toys outside!

SparklyPilaPala · 13/05/2008 14:13

Jammy Sounds like a plan . I'm sure all this sun will turn us to pissed BDing (which will obviously make babies).

MollieMooma · 13/05/2008 15:01

Hey guys stop making me jealous I'm stuck in an office with a view from the window of a brick wall
JustJaamy Thanks for my welcome back, I too hope it will be brief, but won't hold my breath! I've brought a huge sack of babydust for everyone else though!

emma2617 · 13/05/2008 16:17

Sparkly...I got my thermometer today so will register tonight! Bu not to sound too stupid...what is an OPK????

LittleSquirt · 13/05/2008 16:46

Hi everyone!

I hope you don't mind me sticking around for a while, I don't feel ready to join any pregnancy threads yet. Plus I had added myself to the grads list but seem to have fallen off again, I hope it's not a bad omen!

To answer your question Sparkly, no, it doesn't really feel real yet! My boobs are sore which never happened when I had my MC last year so I am hoping it is a good sign. I have an early scan booked on Tues 3rd June (I will be on hols from next Thursday until Mon 2nd) so we'll see. Last time (and only time) I had scan there was nothing to see because I'd had a MMC so I am totally petrified!!!

Anyway, enough of me!

Emma - an OPK is an Ovulation Predictor Kit. The sticks you wee on to know when you are about to ovulate

Hello to Ei my old HCB (in the nicest possible way, you know that!)

Hello to everyone else too (sorry I have not had time to read through all the latest posts properly).

Lou and BS - any news yet?

louwantsaBFPtoo · 13/05/2008 17:34

hi LS - Im holding firm till friday, as cant stand disappointment of BFN. Waiting till then will be 34 days, which is reasonable for my cycle average. Also am going on holiday saturday so will be less temptation to tell people.

Hi everyone else!

I am feeling like going to buy some lemonade as REALLY craving a pimms now! Not too strong tho as DH will start going - "do you really think you should drink if we dont know if you are pregnant yet?"
Like im going to down the whole bottle neat!
Bless him - he worries...
xx

LittleSquirt · 13/05/2008 17:42

That's a great plan Lou - how long are your cycles on average then?

I really hope you get your BFP on Friday!!!!!!

louwantsaBFPtoo · 13/05/2008 17:50

My cycles range from 29 - 40 days
But the last 4 months have been 29/30 days.

I really hope its a BFP too, cos if not I'm off to the docs to stamp my feet and cry and get help!!!

xx

glastochick · 13/05/2008 17:56

Ooops, I think I've started a craze for Pimms [little devil emoticon]

Hope you get a BFP on Friday Lou. Tell your DH not to worry. A very good friend of mine went out, got herself exceedingly drunk (think deep down she was secretly hoping AF would arrive) and then 2 days later got a BFP. She now has the most adorably pretty DD in the world, and I'm very . Naturally, she was concerned her drinking could have harmed her DD, but the Doctors and midwives all told her not to worry and that they'd only be concerned if she was getting drunk like that every week throughout her pregnancy.

To be honest, I've got so tired of abstaining in the 2WW that I've given up on it. I know I should be good really, but I've said I can't go out so many times, and even delayed starting TTC because I was convinced I would fall PG immediatley and didn't want it to affect one last girlie week in Ibiza, that I figure the odd drink here and there can't hurt until I get my BFP.

Gosh, I sound like a complete lush

louwantsaBFPtoo · 13/05/2008 18:13

you are right glasto you cant always be not drinking. I have hardly drunk for the last year, so dont think a pimms will hurt! xx

And it will help me relax which is good for TTC!

louwantsaBFPtoo · 13/05/2008 18:14

Right - off to buy lemonade and sit in the garden!

louwantsaBFPtoo · 13/05/2008 20:55

ok - have now realised pimms and Piriton dont mix and going to bed - Doh! [very sleepy emoticon]
