Glastochick - sorry to hear that. I know how it feels to get your hopes up.

we can sit at the top together

Are you going to Glastonbury?

luvingtinkerbell · 21/04/2008 09:07

sorry walter form mean heavy witch
and sorry glasto for af

glastochick · 21/04/2008 09:08

Hi waltermego1 . Yes, going to Glastonbury this year. DH was trying to console me this morning by saying we will catch a baby at Glasto this year, which would be fab! Trying to be positive but it feels like we've been trying FOREVER. Done all the BD'ing every day, DB'ing every other day etc and still no BFP. It's on days like today that I wonder what's wrong with me.

Must stop feeling sorry for myself though.

Oufton · 21/04/2008 09:20

Morning ladies
Hi ei nice to have you back, hope you're looking after yourself.

Hi scully hope the scan goes ok, I'm jealous of your bank holiday on friday, I could sooo do with one!

Jaamy, Sparkly and sign of TEW?

Well done tink for sorting the list out. Hatty mentioned on another thread that she has her BFP so we'll be able to graduate her when she feels ready.

Hello to everyone else, CD8 for me today and the "every other day" sex started at the weekend. Also off for my first acupuncture visit tonight, hurrah!

Oufton · 21/04/2008 09:21

oh poor Glastochick, sending

glastochick · 21/04/2008 09:48

I've heard other people mention that reflexology has helped them, so am seriously considering it. Should I mention when booking I am TTC do you think?

Oufton · 21/04/2008 10:54

I don't know if you need to mention it when booking glasto, they'll likely ask you why you're going when you go in for your first session as they take detailed information on your health and lifestyle etc. I know with acupuncture some people specialise in fertility issues so it might be worth checking if it's similar for reflexology (which is fab by the way, I had some sessions as a guinea pig for a friend in training!)

glastochick · 21/04/2008 11:21

Thanks Oufton

I'm usually very squeamish when it comes to having my feet touched, but if it helps then I'm happy to go for it.

Oufton · 21/04/2008 11:34

oh and btw reflexology made me wee LOADS afterwards , I'd be interested to know if I'm just odd or if it happens to everyone!!

luvingtinkerbell · 21/04/2008 11:47

thanks oufton sounds positive for you

scully · 21/04/2008 11:53

Do you live near Surrey (Woking) Glastochick? If so can recommend a great midwife who does reflexology. Saw her when pregnant with dd2, to try and avoid 2nd breech baby (which she wasn't), but it was just so relaxing, has to beneficial regardless of the reason you are going. It made me very thirsty, which must have lead to weeing afterwards There is a reason you need to drink a lot of water afterwards, just can't remember why.
I had acupuncture on Sat, going back on Wed week for another session.
Time for bed here, have my scan tomorrow and another blood test, so fingers crossed m/c was complete.

JollyBear · 21/04/2008 13:03

Hello all,

glasto I haven't seen you around much, sorry to hear you are back at the top . A gasto baby would be lovely.

LOL at weeing loads after reflexology oufton I wonder why that is?!

I got a BFP on Friday and thought I'd best update myself.

Hi scully. I live in Essex (Colchester), but have just found out they do Reflexology in our health and wellbeing room at work. Booked an appointment for Wednesday morning. Will report back and tell you if it makes me wee more or not!

Hi JollyBear . Been keeping a low profile trying not to obsess for the past couple of months. It hasn't worked though. WOW! HUGE CONGRATS on your BFP

JollyBear · 21/04/2008 15:04

Oooooops thanks tinker!

Thanks for the congrats tinker and glasto . Hope your first session goes well glasto. I've heard great things about reflexology. Best of luck.

Jollybear Congratulations!! I'm so pleased to hear you got a BFP!

JustJaamy · 21/04/2008 18:38

CONGRATULATIONS JollyBear on your BFP! Here's to a very happy pg and an even happier baby bear!

Reflexology is fab if you get a good practitioner. You must tell them, though that you are TTC as there are oils that will help and those that won't. ALso, they will target particular parts of the feet. I fell pg with DD1 whilst going to reflexology but the lady has since moved away and I haven't been able to find anyone else. oufton - it is normal to need to go to the loo after a session. Stimulates your kidneys (and everything else). Glastochick - my sister had the same dislike of having her feet touched but that soon disappeared at her first session. Hope the reflexology helps.

oufton - hope you are enjoying your every other day!

Scully - how did you get on with the scan? Hope the acupuncture works. My BIL has been having some sessions for stress/tiredness and seems to have helped.

No sign of TEW here yet but have been crampy and bloated for last couple of days. That is quite unusual for me. I don't usually get cramping until day 2 and bloating isn't really that bad. May be body just settling down after CP.

Hello to everyone else...dashing off to sort out DDs...back later!

SparklyGirlFriday · 21/04/2008 19:48

Walter Sorry to read of heavy AF. Always a good idea to see the doc and get the all clear for TTC.
Glasto Sorry she got you.
Outfton No signs of OV yet but hopefully tomorrow or Wednesday! Then the boring 2ww. How are you?
Scully Lots of luck for scan. I'm praying for a positive result for you so you can move on. xx
JB Congrats again.
MTW and Jammy [waves]

1LittlePrincess · 21/04/2008 20:32

Hi All

Some of you may remember me! I am floating around at the bottom of the grad list.

Unfortunatly I miscarried yesterday, naturally at home. I was 7 weeks and 3 days
I am very sad and feel totally numb. I am hoping to to get back to TTC again when I feel strong enough
So I will join you again soon

Hope you are all well

1 Little Princess -X-

scully · 22/04/2008 04:50

Very sorry to hear your news 1LittleP I understand how your feeling right now, hope you're feeling stronger, soon
Good luck with the reflexology Glasto. I had a friend who lived in Wivenhoe, so remember those awful roundabouts when going through Colchester to get to her place
Had my scan this morning, sonographer thought my uterus lining still looked thick but even I could clearly see there was no longer any sac there. I see the gynae again tomorrow so they will look at the scan then and the blood results and fingers crossed after all this I won't need anything else done. Also had a smear this morning as that was due and am having a rubella immunisation next week as that needs updating. I am over gp's and hospitals, I have to say

crossingallbutlegs · 22/04/2008 07:50

morning ladies
so sorry princess
cd32 for me temp drop this morning
to ovulate or not to ovulate that is the question

Oufton · 22/04/2008 09:37

Oh 1LittleP very sorry to hear of your sad news, I hope you're taking good care of yourself and being well looked after by DP.

Hi scully hope it all sorts itself out naturally, I'm not surprised you're proper fed up of hospitals!

Jaamy the every other day is going well so far, it's more of the same tonight, yippee!

Good luck with ov Sparkley, I reckon I should be sometime over the weekend so we can spend the 2ww moaning together.

Glasto hope the reflexology goes ok, if nothing else it's super relaxing (except the need for wees of course).

Well had my first acupuncture last night, apparently I have a cold uterus ! Who knew eh? Anyway lots of needles in various places along with heat lamps, I'm not sure I'd call it relaxing but it was all ok and she's very hopeful for getting me warmed up, fingers crossed... (tbh I'm hoping to get up the duff super quick, the proposed 3 months of treatment is going to bankrupt us!)

Morning to any else tink, jolly, eleveld and the usual folks. x

lou2311 · 22/04/2008 09:56

1littleP - so sorry, it is very difficult, and even those of us who understand how you feel find it hard to say the right thing. for you xxxxx
Glasto - Grrr at AF for you
scully - know how you feel re hosp etc. they were so rubbish with me at my post MC scan. I felt like i was getting in the way of the 'proper' pregnant people. According to a friend I just had the 'mean woman' at the EPU not the nice one!
sparkly - read any angry posts recently? I am steering clear... heaven forbid you should have an opinion that differs from other peoples!
jolly YAY!! so nice that BFP's are not a myth - they actually do happen!
Hi Ei, oufton [waves] sending cakes your way...
I am having reflexology on fri - very excited, if it helps sort my body out then my feet are ready and willing!

anyone i have missed, hello!!
xxx

lou2311 · 22/04/2008 09:57

oh - and i am trying acupuncture too this month! xx

Eleveld · 22/04/2008 10:19

hi

I'm just waiting to put myself back up to the top of the list.

Am just waiting for AF to turn up properly. Thought it was going to yesterday so (warning TMI coming up) ran to the loo and had to use a tampon (was going into a meeting). However, later on (warining REALLY TMI coming up) there was just like a brown gunk on it (like a bit of really old brown blood with few stringy bits - Sorry )?! I assume this is just spotting and AF will rear ugly head in next day or so?

iLittleP - really sorry to hear your news. Look after yourself
