For all of us who have recently got BFPs, all of those still trying and for all the lovely updates about new arrivals let's hope this lucky thread continues for us all 🙏🌈💝 xx

@Supertrooper101 we've nothing booked in yet! But yes, they previously wanted him out by 37wks and I'll be 36 on Monday SOooo.... Got to be close! 😂 I reeeeeally need to finish sorting things!! Have had no energy this week! I've set aside the last two afternoons to get on with stuff while DS was at nursery and I've literally fallen asleep both days 😂😩

Wow I can't believe you're so close @SnookyPook it feels like yesterday you got this BFP 🙈 it sounds like you need the rest at this stage so just take it when you can, all the other stuff will fall into place 🤷‍♀️ xx

@Supertrooper101 there's days when I'm really excited and go crazy buying stuff )we've just put deposit down to upgrade to bigger car!) But then other days the anxiety hits like a tonne of bricks 😔. Whether it's worrying about movements or headaches so bad that I was convinced I'd preclampsia 😭 My rational side has luckily taken over each time and I've waited to feel more movements or taken my own BP so I haven't gone in for any checks yet but that's not to say I won't if I get really worried that something is wrong.

I think every pregnancy comes with anxiety to some degree but I definitely think that loss exacerbates it unfortunately. Hopefully the next few weeks fly in then we can all start getting anxious about other stuff after they're born 🙈😂

Just heard back from the amnio - initial genetic screening is all normal 🥳 Full micro-array will be back after he's born but feeling relieved! X

Had such a crappy day today with work, really stressed me out and I cried like 5 times out of sheer frustration. So annoyed that I let myself get that stressed 🙈 thankfully I now have the weekend off so I'm going to try and chill out. Think the plasterers delaying the date they are starting work at home after turning the whole of upstairs upside down moving furniture out has contributed to me having a wobble lol I already feel like the need to start organising 🙈

@Sez281 I've stilllll not committed to buying anything lol Think the house being up the wall has put me off, but my mums offered to store things at hers if we see things we want so I may start getting things delivered there lol x

I'll be 24 weeks Monday 🎉 whopping cough vaccine booked for tuesday and i see my midwife on the 22nd, need to ask if should be worried that I've had 3 nosebleeds this week 🙈 literally when doing nothing...sitting down/lying down etc it's proper freaking the OH out 😂

@Sez281 yeah the aniexty is real 🙁 i was in triage because of movements. Hooked up to the machine. Took her ages to find the heartbeat and questioned why my pulse was so high 🤔... hurm, i wonder... she said all that was ok but had a scan later on and the first time theyve done the blood flow and that was quite high in the bracket.(means alot of resistance and google says not good at all) . i have really bad circulation so makes sense so now am worried about that. Dr never saw me either which didnt help 🤬
@Westy22 nose bleeds yep lol usually when av just going out lol i got spooked with that vaccine as theyve brote a brand new one out 1st july. Am too good with change so not sure what am doing about that one yet. Your house must be driving u mad ! And work... dont know how your copeing. I wouldnt be so hard on yourself over one wobble thats for sure lol
@SnookyPook aww thats good.. just a small un then like your other lol can i ask if you dont midmnd, with all your growth scans youve had, on the doppler report bit, what has been your p.i and r.i ? I remember you saying yours was normal. I cant find anything online to go by that isnt bad lol

Oh god don't say that @Supertrooper101 lol I'm not keen on vaccines as it is but this one my gut is telling me to do it, I think the rise in cases freaked me out a bit and it kind of correlates with the decline in people getting it? I've just had a nosey at what's changed about it and it looks like they've removed the polio side of it and it's used in Europe/America etc so I'll go with it. Yeah house is annoying but keep telling myself it will be worth it, just not looking forward to the actual decorating side of it 🙈 I've got my mood board ready of how I want things to look 😂

Did they give you any advice on the circulation side of things? Surely didn't leave you worrying about it? X

@Westy22 I haven't had them myself but loads of ladies in my group have so I do think they're weirdly common

@Supertrooper101 oh no that must have been so scary, no wonder your bp was high with the stress of it! 🤯I know you didn't see a doctor but is there a follow up plan? Try not to google stuff it will drive you mad x

I had my gestational diabetes test yesterday. I should hear Monday if all ok….. I also saw my consultant between my 2nd & 3rd bloods. Baby looking and measuring fine but she’s got concerns about protein in my urine so has sent that and some blood off for more tests so I’m back in next Wednesday.... My cardiologist actually put me on blood pressure tablets during the week because my readings were a little high. Part of me is trying not to worry as I've always been borderline but part of me is also freaking out thinking I've preclampsia. Hopefully I'll get results soon 🙏

@Supertrooper101 ah bless you that does sound stressful. So my most recent PI/RI have been:

Umbilical PI: 0.72, 0.64, 0.56, 0.9, 0.86, 0.9

RI not always recorded but seems to be 0 when it has?! Not quite sure what it is 🤔

They've also checked 'MCA PI' recently which I believe is the flow to baby' brain? They have slight concerns with that at the moment. At 2.21 it was 50th centile. 1.7 was normal. 1.26 was under 5th centile and caused concern. Most recent, just above 5th centile at 1.35 and they are keeping an eye on it.

@Sez281 aw good they are keeping an eye on you. I developed gestational hypertension in my pregnancy with Seb towards the end. It never developed to full pre-eclampsia but did require heightened monitoring. Hopefully you will be fine 💗

@Westy22 am the same with vaccines lol ill see how you get on first lol they didnt seem bothered. Its bloody google 🤬 and me lol the house will be worth it and even if things arnt fully done, you know they will be eventually 🙂
@Sez281 did you stay away from google with all that? Haha. Its bloody hard isnt it. Protein is meant to be common but needs to be kept on top off. I suppose one thing about pre eclampsia theres alot of signs for you to watch for.. defo use triage whenever u have any doubts in between appointments. Ive a couple in the next week probably why their dr didnt bother with me lol
@SnookyPook those figures dont even tie in with my bracket chsrt thing 🤣 yours must be more in depth on different ends of the cord or sumat ha. So confusing the lot of it lol i bet you will be pleased when your given a new due date wont you.

Well ladies... A week today I should be snuggling little man! 🥰😳😆💙 C-section booked for Monday 22nd!! Eeeek!!!

@Supertrooper101 hope you're going ok when is your next appointment? Hopefully doc can offer some reassurance 🤞 I don't think I'll have blood results till I see consultant Wednesday about the protein.. but on the plus side I must not have GD or I'd have gotten a call by now 🙌

Just catching up and @SnookyPook I'm so excited for you that you've got your baby's birth date! How are you feeling about having a section?
As I've said on here before my elective section experience was really positive so I hope yours will be too. Can't believe you're meeting your son in 6 days!

My wee boy is 5.5 months now and he's such a joy. Stuck to me like glue and changing all the time. First time sitting in a high chair yesterday, and we're gearing up to start solids. It really does go in soo fast second time around!

Posted too quick! So pleased to see all the pregnancies going well, I've not been on mn much but I'll keep checking back for baby announcements! 🥰

@SnookyPook no way 🤯🙆‍♀️ thats so soon! Yours has bloody flew by lmao... do you have a predicted weight? If your about 37wks thats great his held on that long... aww am really plsd you have your date 🙂
@Sez281 i asked again yesterday about the gd blood test and it was nope, no trigger marks to need it lol plsd urs shud b negative then, one less worry x

@Sez281 @Supertrooper101 thanks! I'll be bang on 37wks which is great considering at one point they thought he might have to come at 33!!

@Hankthehonk lovely to hear from you! Can't believe Rory will soon be starting solids!! I'm slightly anxious about the section but I've heard so many positive stories. I think I'd be more anxious about induction with the gestation we're at and concerns for little man. I'm nervous on a practical level but feel at peace that I've made the right call for him and for my MH too 👍🏼

@Sez281 glad it looks like you don't have GD I'm nervous I'll be put forward for it 🙈 my bump feels really big and I'm literally starving all the time, so I'm wondering whether that means big baby and will trigger a few checks even tho it was 49th percentile on the last scan 🙈

Finally took the plunge and ordered a moses basket lol went for the snuzbaskit 😍 sending everything to my mums tho so she can store till house is in a better place lol x

So I'm not going to Spain this weekend.. my bloods all came back normal but my consultant is worried that my BP could spike again so it's better not to risk it. I'm a little sad but also a bit relieved that the decision was taken out of my hands 🤷‍♀️. Back to see consultant Monday then going to go to the west of Ireland for a few days and pray for sun.. I'll be wearing my holiday clothes that I bought even if it's lashing 😂

Hi everyone, I’ve missed loads here! Life’s been hectic recently and I’ve stepped back from MN for a bit. Seen a friend recently who is due a few weeks before I would have been and seeing her bump and talk of scans etc. was a tricky one to manage.

Anyway, looks like there’s lots happening!

@Sez281 thanks for checking in. Glad to hear all of your bloods have been ok and not showing any signs of GD. Hope you have a great break away and fingers crossed the weather holds for you. I think we are now in Autumn now and seem to have skipped summer all together, it’s been so miserable. I loose track, how many weeks are you now?

@Westy22 sounds like you are busy at home and you are in full nesting mode. That’s great you are starting to make some baby purchases, won’t be long now till you have them at yours. Hope your appointment with the mw all goes well, I used to get loads of random nose bleeds too towards the end of my first pregnancy. Not sure why but it was nothing to worry about.

@Supertrooper101 your due date is creeping up too. I hope baby’s movements have been keeping up to keep you reassured and that you get to speak to someone at your next appointment over any concerns.

@SnookyPook wowzers, you are only days away from meeting your little one, how exciting! How are you feeling now?
I had an elective section with my second and it was all really calm, just taking the pressure off when it was happening made a big difference for me.

@Westy22 not sure what the triggers are for the gd but if yours is on the 49th centile i dont think they will be concerned lol mine was 82nd at one point and still didnt test lol
@Sez281 shame about spain and especially since our weather is so stupidly random! Butttt.... you can all go together later in the year 🙂... had the health visitor routine home visit yesterday, she wasnt impressed av not bought hardly anything lol not long had my mw one.. ill have to check when my nxt hospital one is. Hopefully get to ask some questions and actually get a proper answer lol
@xxcxdonxx hopefully your little ones will keep ur mind busy in the summer holidays, or rainy holidays should i say lol
@Jadeypie hows the health kick going. Have the meds settled things in a routine now? Do you have your appointment coming up soon?

@Supertrooper101 you need to get a move on woman hahaha.

And yeh health kicks going really well and feeling the benefits. Also the meds are working great now I'm on three a day and iv actually ovulated four times in a row now so made up with that. I did stop the high foliate they gave me because I was getting bad headaches so just the usual does of folic acid which agrees with me. Xx

@DmcinT thanks lovely! Yes, very exciting although slightly overwhelming too!! I've had a couple of cries the last two days about generally feeling unprepared and panicked about coping 🤦🏼‍♀️ It's very weird having an exact date to work to! Didn't have that with Sebby and he was late so I think I'd passed panic stage by then and just wanted him out! This time I feel a bit antsy in case I'm not ready enough. Although I know that's ridiculous as we have more than enough to cope and anything we suddenly discover we need can probably be obtained within a maximum of 24hrs... 🙃 I am SOooo ready to meet this little guy though and have him safely in my arms for snuggles 🥰

I believe @Supertrooper101 was around a month behind me so probs due mid Sept? Then @Sez281 around October and @Westy22 near Christmas..? So exciting 🥰

Can't believe little one is almost 6 months!! Crazy! Glad you're enjoying weaning! It's a chaotic but fun time! I think I was a rare exception - AF didn't return for me until I completely weaned and stopped all bf. I think that's pretty unusual so hopefully she'll be back for you soon! Take it you're hoping for a fairly small age-gap? Best of luck 🥰
