For all of us who have recently got BFPs, all of those still trying and for all the lovely updates about new arrivals let's hope this lucky thread continues for us all 🙏🌈💝 xx

Oh @Supertrooper101 there's always a new symptom to replace the old ones isn't there 🙈 I'm getting the blocked nose/sinus stuff now, no bleeds though! I've seen a lot of ladies get restless legs, sounds horrible 😣

I've actually been put on a 24 hour heart monitor. Basically I've been getting palpitations since early on (google told me they were normal) my consultant said it's better to get checked so I went to a cardiologist for a few tests and my resting heart rate is way too high (I knew that from my fit bit anyway) Anyway it may be a case that I have to go on medication which of course I don't want to but will wait and see what they say after this monitor results... It could just be anxiety and stress .. I honestly don't know how not to be anxious though 🤷‍♀️

@Paws4thought and @Jadeypie hope the TWW is going quickly and you both have lots of distractions!

@Sez281 oh that's abit scary isn't it do they no what could be causing it? Have u had this before? And I'm 8dpo today only 4 days till af is due its flown by really I'm cd 29 longest cycle I've had in a while I think my short cycles I don't ovulate and my longer ones I do xx

@Supertrooper101 19 weeks!! When.is your scan due? That bloody heartburn killed me off lived on gaviscon hahah xx

@Sez281 restless leg is a horrible sensations. So bloody weird. My nose bleeds seem to have settled since taking the heartburn stuff 🤔 maybe weeks of acid in the throat had sumat to do with them.... watch em come back later lol am sleeping shit now taking the ompr whatever stuff, lol ya right, theres always sumat ha. Have you had heart problems before or is this all new? Have they said your ok to go on a plane etc? Your stressed busy at work and uv been worried with your pregnancy, so its understandable 🙁.. 🤞the results are manageable
@Jadeypie think yiur cycles have sorted themselfs out now since the meds havent they so maybe ur dr is right that your hormones r ok lol just sumat else that isnt now 🤣... i had heartburn really bad with my son, they say its if the baby has alot of hair.....he came out bold ! I cant remember with my girl tho. I get it in the throat not chest tho, probably why my gums feel fooked lol its end of next week 🙂..

@Supertrooper101 yeh I agree with her too feel like I'm getting to a place of knowing my cycle again. Hahaha my son did come out with loads of hair but then it all fell out! Aww not long to wait then. Have you told everyone now then? Xx

@Sez281 aw hope all ok. Most likely stress/anxiety isn't it but good that they are taking it seriously and checking you out properly. At least you will know then.

Had a midwife appointment yesterday. They're not doing fundal height measurements as the scans take precedence now we're on that pathway but she had a listen in and he's sounding fine. She was really reassuring about all the small baby stuff too. I'm feeling ok about it at the moment. There is a chance they will want to get him out a little early though depending on how he's doing over the next few weeks. I have a feeling we might be meeting him end of July rather than mid-August. It's all starting to sound quite close!!

@Sez281 that sounds stressful in itself, how are you doing? Sounds like you are in good hands and hopefully they can give you some results/advice pretty quickly.

That’s good that your cycles seem a bit more predictable @Jadeypie and only a few more days to go.

@SnookyPook glad to hear that he is sounding happy in there. Ooh July doesn’t seem so far away at all.

Thanks for checking in, we’ve had a lovely wee day. No news here, just patiently waiting for my follow up appointment now and feeling pretty calm about it for now.

Typically I feel like my palpitations and flutters eased for the 24 hours I had the monitor on (still had a couple but not as frequent) It was my first day off work and I didn't really do much physically so that explains it) Will know what the plan is when they call with results next week. The consultant was so nice. She says I'm fine to fly on Friday and if I do need meds they'll be perfectly safe to take. She knows this is a precious pregnancy so even gave me her mobile to text if I have any concerns.

@Jadeypie yay for cd29 that's really encouraging 🙌

@Supertrooper101 how you feeling about the 20 week scan next week? It's such a massive milestone. Do you think you'll relax a bit more then?

@SnookyPook your midwife sounds so nice! Imagine it was the end of July, that's going to fly in! 😱😂 Did you keep a lot of things from your son? Hopefully you don't have to get too much new stuff. I haven't let my brain go there yet but if everything goes ok at the 20 week scan I might allow myself to start thinking about it a bit!🙏

@xxcxdonxx So glad you had a nice weekend and the little ones party went well. Will be thinking of you and crossing everything for you tomorrow 🙏 xx

@SnookyPook tbf with had a couple of private ones that do 20wk checks and 4d lol least theyve give you the head ups that he may be here early and when you say july, that does sound close lol yiur appointment scedule with m/w must be different. Ours goes from 16wk then not till 25 lol
@Jadeypie not told anyone lol i do think there very inpatiently waiting on me 🤣. So probably get told off when i do tell em lol its still really cold here so still been layered up so easy to hide, or so i fort lol
@xxcxdonxx has the waiting gone fast for you? Good that your calm about it either outcome. Its tomorrow isnt it?

@Sez281 bloody el a consultants private number, and there was you scared of her lol i think thats great shes done that. So youl have that at hand and your oh has sorted out medical centres in spain, i think you will be just fine and the fact your symptons eased on just the first day off, maybe says youve just run your self down a little. Which is completley understandable. Change of scenery no pressure and SUN will be better than any meds prescribed i think lol am ok about the 20wk, probably cos ive already had mini ones so hopefully itl be the same outcome 🙂. Cant decide if its gone quick or not lol

@Sez281 that's a bit scary about your heart palpitations, hopefully nothing to worry about tho, could just be stress. I'm amazed she gave you private number!

@xxcxdonxx what time is your scan tomorrow? You've done well waiting it out.

I'm having a bit of a wobble again, test was negative this morning which I'm ok about but had some cramping and no period yet, i know I'm technically not due on until tomorrow but have read retained products can cause scarring and risk increases with each mva too. I'm sure I had cramping and no period around 4 weeks ago too 😩

@Supertrooper101 it was the cardiologist that gave me her personal number, not my obstetrician (she still scares the life out of me 🙈😂) i definitely need think there's something underlying as according to my Fitbit one night last week while I was fast asleep my rate hit 176 🤯 But I agree that a lot of it is exacerbated by stress so the holiday should definitely help 🧘
I think yours has flown by! Glad you've had all those extra scans so hopefully reassuring going into the "big one" I think you may have to put them all out of their misery then and tell them! 😂

Oh @Paws4thought I'm so sorry, I'm sure your head must be fried as it's been so long waiting for a "normal" outcome 😣 I think if there was any more retained product you'd have even a trace amount on a test. Perhaps the cramping is because this would be your first "proper" period and it's been so long it wouldn't be surprising that it might be a strange or painful one. I hope you have some answers soon either way, I can only imagine how frustrating it is xx

@Paws4thought sorry you're having a wobbly. Hopefully it's just that everything is still normalising after all you've been through. Have you any further appointments coming up?

@Supertrooper101 well, I'm 25wks tomorrow! 😲So think my Trust do it anytime around 24/25.

@Sez281 yeah I'm starting to feel a bit panicked that we've not done more prep... Haha. We did have lots of stuff left but things like the car seat and pram etc I think we might need to replace as they've been through a few house moves, stored in garages etc and bit damp. We're sorted on the clothes front! Me and my Sis have been passing things back and forth for the last few years and she sent me a pic of about 8 boxes full of baby clothes ready to come back my way 😂 Although they are the fun bits anyway and I do want to get little man a few new bits all of his own 🥰 Were also moving my son into a big boy room and I want to do up that and the nursery... But a bit overwhelmed at getting started!! So... Yeah, in some ways it's fine. I know from experience that actually new babies need very little and in reality the nursery doesn't need to be perfect until they're at least 6 months old anyway etc... but in other ways, I'm definitely feeling the urge to nest and get on top of everything. It's nice to be at this stage though! I barely dared hope early on that we'd be at this point.

@SnookyPook aww I love the fact use pass stuff it's going to be so cute seeing your new baby wear your big baby's stuff. I'm gutted I never kept any of my sons I gave them all to my friend apart from his first little outfit. I've kept his cot tho that's stored away. Xx

Af is on her way so I'm out! I did have abit of hope but it's OK it is what it is. Next up is these bloods to finally get to the bottom of things.

Question....if I start spotting at 10dpo then get af fully on 12dpo does that mean my lp is 10? Or 12? Xx

@Sez281 i dont know all this resting heart rate etc, not sure id like a watch like that haha my girl on the other hand is...and records hers ha.. just been thr all the testing with her ecg etc. I have iron overload, seems she has too. But ecg was fine 🙂... when are they going to review your results? Bet you cant wait to do one can you 🤣
@Paws4thought its shit all the worry.. have you had a period since the last mva then or will this be the first? Thing is, even if you called a dr or anyone, they probably tell you to 'wait' .. i would call someone anyway if it dosent come by the end of the week.

I read that any first blood is a shift in hormones which should count as the lp....but...others say a full day of bleeding is the 1st day, oh and coming on at nite time dosent count 🤣 bullshit int it. Some are told spottings normal orhers get given sumat for it ... pot luck lol

Hey everyone, bit of a bleak update from me unfortunately. Had my scan this morning and while there has been growth since last time, it’s not where I should be at this stage. There was no heartbeat etc. and I should be 8 weeks by now so should be seeing much more.
As there has been some growth, I’ve to keep taking my medication and go back in a weeks time when they should be able to make a call on it for certain. All seems a bit cruel and pointless as it’s pretty certain that it’s another miscarriage.
This was probably our last attempt as well so it’s all just a bit sad that’s it’s ended this way 🙁

@xxcxdonxx I'm so very sorry to hear this, and also that you are still having to be in some kind of limbo for a bit longer. That is always extra cruel when you just want to know clearly whether there is hope or not. You seem to feel pretty certain that there isn't going to be good news next week so I'm sending you a massive hug and whilst I'm keeping absolutely everything crossed I appreciate where you're at and why. I sometimes wish they would just be more definitive with what they tell us in such scenarios.

I'm really so very sorry that you are having to go through this (again), and particularly with thinking this was probably your last attempt. Now is not the time to make any big decisions though so take your time to grieve and regroup.

@xxcxdonxx Oh I'm so sorry to hear this. It really is so bloody unfair 😢 I know you know yourself so there's no point in saying anything to get your hopes up. It does seem a bit cruel that you have to wait another week, I hope you have lots of support at home in the meantime, take care of yourself xx

@xxcxdonxx i suppose its good you half expected that 🙁.. but not to wait another week tho. Just live how you want to live this next week...i.e...drink what you want lol did you already make a decision that this would be your last try?

I had a TFMR in March as our baby boy was really unwell. I let myself have one period and then we TTC in my recent fertile window. I’m only 2 or 3 DPO and finding it tough.

With our first he was a surprise, and once we got over the shock we were so excited and so ready. So this is the first time I’ve ever tracked ovulation etc, also did it because I just wanted to get some understanding of what my cycle is like after my TFMR!

@xxcxdonxx aww I'm really sorry!! So bloody unfair 😒 waiting is really cruel aswell. Take some time out surround yourself with family xx

I did ask the sonographer @SnookyPook if there was any chance that I would come back next week and things look more positive and she did say she would be very surprised. I knew as soon as she said that she’d need to do an internal scan it wasn’t good news as by this stage an external scan should show everything I would imagine.

It is unfair @Sez281, the not knowing why is hard for me too especially when we have two already.

@Supertrooper101 yeah I kind of knew what to expect going into it but just hoped I was wrong. We had said before that this would be our last chance, I just can’t keen doing it to myself, feels like life has just been on hold.

@Jadeypie we hadn’t actually told anyone yet so that’s one of the worst bits having to break bad news.
