@Sez281 your 5wks is gona fly by.. all that sun and warmth i am SO jelous lol not even turned my heating off, the weather is so pathetic here 😭....
@SnookyPook i think you said it right there..... your little lad was small and wasnt even picked up on, am wondering if theres more caution these days, which is good. You will probably have these extra scans till birth now. And you have triage 24/7 there for you if movements slow down so have that as peace as mind too. Itl be fine 🙂

Oh good luck @Jadeypie Hopefully you get some answers or she can point you in the right direction 🤞

So my gp thinks it's good that I'm having af each month. She said the pcos causes hormones fluctuations which can cause the spotting and cycle lengths over the place. She said everything is perfect on my last ultrasound so she's not worried there either. She's upped my metformin. But she thiks ive got a bowel problem and that's what's causing my pains ect so I'm getting tested for all kinds there. And she's also told me to speak to my endocrinologist next month when I'm due to see him about my hormone fluctuations. She thinks it's positive that I'm in the 20 cycles instead of the 40s which is true. Anyway let's see if this higher dose of metformin brings some miracles haha xx

SnookyPook · 23/04/2024 12:44

@Jadeypie ooh sounds like she was quite helpful and proactive - are you happy with how you've left things? Keeping everything crossed for you. You are on your way to answers and hopefully your little rainbow baby will be along soon 💗

SnookyPook · 23/04/2024 12:46

@Jadeypie we've got a lost of names but not settled on one yet! All definitely feeling more real now though and he feels like a proper little person now! Can't believe how big he's getting on the scans (even though he's a small baby 🤪) She couldn't do a pic of his whole body this time - its more zoomed in on his upper half 😃 x

Jadeypie · 23/04/2024 14:04

@SnookyPook yeh I had a good talk with her and she made some good points tbh. Awww that's cute!! Glad your feeling more settled now too 😊 Boys names are so hard I think xx

xxcxdonxx · 23/04/2024 17:29

That’s brilliant news your scan went well @Sez281 , delighted for you! Now you can really switch off and enjoy all of that glorious sunshine. Hope your last week at work is kind to you.

So glad you are feeling reassured @SnookyPook and that you were treated so kindly. It does sound like your boys are just petite and extra cute. It’s good you will get the extra scans too just to keep on top of things.

Sounds like your appointment went well @Jadeypie and that things are moving in the right direction for you with your medication.

xxcxdonxx · 23/04/2024 17:36

I’m going to be a bit of a Debbie downer on here, sorry to bring the good vibes down 😫
After my bit of spotting the other day, yesterday I felt really nauseous which is unusual for me. Then later in the afternoon the spotting returned and was quite a
bit heavier than it had been and looked like it was more red in colour too. I was so convinced I was going to miscarry last night, I hardly slept and kept waking to check. It didn’t really come to much and has
been on/off all day.
Called epau and they suggested to stick to my original appointment next week so they can check growth and be sure of the outcome basically. Although it’s a nervous wait I’m kind of on board as the last thing I want is to have to go back multiple times.
So I just need to wait it out now and if it gets any heavier to call them back.
I’m pretty resigned to the fact I’m going to miscarry again which is sad to admit but I can’t see this going any other way.

Sez281 · 23/04/2024 17:46

Aww @xxcxdonxx I'm so sorry. God you've been through so much 😔 I know you know your own body and you're probably right to lower your expectations but you really never know. The sickness could be a symptom and the bleeding could be a haematoma or something.🙏 I totally understand where you're coming from though, and I also get you wanting to wait until the epu date. How much longer is it? Really hope you're ok and have good support/distraction xx

SnookyPook · 23/04/2024 20:50

@xxcxdonxx really sorry you're in a bit of a dark place with it all. I think @Sez281 has said it perfectly. I really hope you're wrong and will keep hoping on your behalf. We all know how much the fear can take hold during those first weeks. I really do hope it's a different outcome for you this time. Sending big hugs 💗 xxxx

Supertrooper101 · 23/04/2024 21:05

@Jadeypie yay plsd you got seen and heard! Good your still under the other ppl too. I rekon u will be sorted soon 🙂
@xxcxdonxx uv got the sickness which is a great sign, and the bleed, can be 50 50 what it is and we all know that these sch are very very common so the bleed could be from one of them. I think you do right keeping your guard up but at the same time, it could be nothing. I found alot of forums on here re the sch, may give you a little hope x

Jadeypie · 24/04/2024 06:52

Ohh @xxcxdonxx I'm so sorry you are going through this!! Feel like you crnt catch a break! I echo what everyone els says 🤗 just no we are always here for you to let your emotions out xx

Obviously since being the Dr I've been down the rabbit hole on shitty google hahaha. They are testing me for coeliac which I'm praying I don't have but it also does make sence and can mess with fertility? Anyway I've decided if I do have that I will be putting the ttc off hold to get my health in order after this tww xx

xxcxdonxx · 24/04/2024 07:23

Thanks everyone, this thread really is the best. It totally feels like I can’t catch a break! It’s just frustrating that everything seemed fine until I had the scan and started the injections and I know it’s most likely a sheer coincidence.
There are so many threads on here about people who have had big bleeds and it’s all worked out so it’s definitely not impossible, I just don’t want to rely on that happening for me.
I’m back in on Monday so a bit of a wait. I’m just hoping that whatever happens it waits until after the weekend, it’s my wee girls birthday on Saturday and we’re having family over so I don’t want to ruin it x

Sez281 · 24/04/2024 08:04

@xxcxdonxx I'm sure it is a coincidence but I get why you'd be questioning it! It's good that you've got the little ones birthday the weekend, they'll be a lovely distraction I'm sure 🤞xx

@Jadeypie I meant to reply yesterday, so glad your consultation with the GP was productive. I agree that if I had the choice I'd much rather short than crazy long cycles. Have you tracked how long your luteal phase is? I know some women that have had difficulty ttc their second and it turns out it was due to a short LP. Mine was quite short (9-10 days) so I took the progesterone to extend it, might be worth looking in to. Also I could be wrong but doesn't @Westy22 have coeliac? I think it can be managed quite well. Either way I'm glad that they're being thorough with your tests 👌 xx

Morning

@Jadeypie I have coeliac and once gluten is cut out of your diet you'll be fine, I was diagnosed when I was about 22. It's alot easier now then it was back then in terms of what's available to buy. But as I say once it's under control i can't say it's affected me too much, I would maybe make sure your taking vitamins as that was the only thing that worried me as you don't necessarily absorb everything you need, you have to be strict tho as you don't want inflammation in your body x

@xxcxdonxx I'm sorry this is happening to you, as others have said it could be something else that's trigger the small bleed. Keeping everything crossed x

Jadeypie · 24/04/2024 09:55

@xxcxdonxx awww our little ones are perfect little distractions and healers while we are going through a bad time. My little boy has been my angel in disguise the last two years xx

@Sez281 well since finally catching a peak I think my lp is 11 or 12 days. Xx

@Westy22 omg I totally forgot u suffer with that. The drs really heading down that path for me with all these symptoms ive been having since last September, but come to think of it, iv always suffered. I just always put it down to lack of gallbladder ect. I think whatever it is I'm defo going through a flare up of somthing and have been for a while! blaiming hormones which I do suffer with too but she's convinced that they are regulating out and doing a better job than what they was. Suppose last year I couldn't catch a peak this year. Both times I've tried, I've caught one xx

Supertrooper101 · 24/04/2024 11:19

@Jadeypie most of the time it is bloody hormones, females have it tuff lol but catching a peak both times and a decent lp phase i would maybe agree with ur dr on this one. Inflamation isnt good for any part of the body so like westy says,if you have it and its managed, you should...be completley sorted! Lol..
@xxcxdonxx you dont need to keep things in or worry your putting a downeron the group. Far from it.. we all have our own little fears weekly regardless where were at and its nice we have each other to confide in... ul be knakered all weekend so it should fly by lol

Paws4thought · 25/04/2024 00:24

@Jadeypie that's fab that your gp listened and was helpful, hopefully catching peak the last 2 months will help with tracking more too!
@Sez281 glad your scan went well, bet you can't wait for your holidays now!
@SnookyPook aww that's quite cute having dinky babies, as you said your first was small too so doesn't seem like anything to worry about :)
@Westy22 your pregnancy is definitely flying by!
@Supertrooper101 how many weeks are you now?
@xxcxdonxx sorry to see things aren't great, as others have said try to stay positive as anything in early pregnancy seems to be able to lead to good or bad news but always good to keep your guard up, hope the next few days go quickly, how many weeks should you be at scan?

I'm 10dpo now, other than not sleeping that well and dreaming a lot nothing to note symptom wise, planning to test at weekend, this is the first time I'm not really bothered about testing as early as poss which is a good thing I think.

xxcxdonxx · 25/04/2024 06:04

Thanks @Paws4thought , it’s so true and it does seem that it could either way. I’ll be 8 weeks so I’m hoping I’ll know for definite by that point.
I was thinking that you must be coming to the end of your tww. That’s good that you are quite relaxed about it, takes the pressure of either outcome. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you though xx

Paws4thought · 25/04/2024 06:26

@xxcxdonxx ah 8 weeks I didn't realise you'd be that far, hopefully all will be OK! Thank you :)

SnookyPook · 25/04/2024 08:48

@Paws4thought nice to hear from you and glad you're doing well! It's always nice when you're able to be a bit more relaxed about the tww isn't it?! Keeping fingers crossed here too 😊

Jadeypie · 25/04/2024 11:06

@Paws4thought it's great when you can get to the point of not being obsessed about testing!! I have everything crossed for you this cycle xx

I'm 6dpo today nothing new for me either just my usual aches and pains and my backs still giving me problems. Like you @Paws4thought I won't be testing early either xx

Jadeypie · 25/04/2024 11:07

@Supertrooper101 yehh I agree. Time will tell I suppose. How are you getting on? I crnt remember how many weeks your at now xx

Supertrooper101 · 26/04/2024 08:00

@Paws4thought @Jadeypie love the attitude, hope it last till you get your positives 🙂.. am around 19 now... cracked and got something for heartburn @Sez281 lol it was more in my throat gagging me which i read wasnt good! So no acid last nite, instead restless leg and every position uncomfy lol like... wtf 🤦‍♀️
