Twitching in uterus during TWW?????

Hi :)

Hoping to find others who have experienced this (and hopefully got their BFP!)

So, I have been experiencing a fluttering/twitching in my uterus pretty relentlessly for the past 5/6 days (since ovulation). I fully understand that it’s easy to become a bit obsessed with symptom spotting in the TWW, but I know for 100% certain that this is something I have never, ever felt before (and it is definitely not in my head - I can physically feel it and it will happen even if I’m not thinking about it!)

Has anyone else ever experienced this? It’s kind of like an eye twitch, no pain whatsoever. It’s driving me crazy!

@BeckyPfromLeeds sorry to hear it’s a BFN this morning! But fingers crossed it’s just a little too early to test and that you implanted late. Cramping and no sign of AF surely has to be a positive sign! God, the wait is just horrendous..

I remember having this feeling before my BFP too!

Thanks for your reply @Jessforless ! I’m going to try to hold out until Friday (around 10DPO). Did you have the feeling as early on as me, or was it just before you got your BFP? Did it last very long? The twitching has stopped today so I’m worried I was getting my hopes up for nothing 😞

Is this a positive line or an evaporation line, debating buying a second test. Don’t want to get my hopes up

@Grace017 I definitely see a line there, but can’t tell if it’s an evap! Maybe take an early response test to try to get a darker line?

I’ve took another one of these strips I’ve had as I haven’t time to go buy a test, what youse think.

Honestly it really is and it sucks. Something is off and it's just not normal but it could be literally anything right now. It's just a waiting game.
I am trying to hold out until next week to test as do not want to get my hopes up

@Gillseybear let’s hope the fact that something feels off is a positive sign for you! Holding off on testing is so hard. I’m telling myself to not test until Friday, and even then I’m only around 10DPO! I’m not feeling confident anymore though, the twitching has completely stopped and I feel zero symptoms 😞 I feel that I will be coming on here to say it’s a BFN.

@TTC1992 I bloody hope so but it's still early days and we have only been trying since Christmas. So it's still super early. I just genuinely feel super off and I hate it so much. Just wish answers were more forthcoming than waiting around.

The think that's really getting to me is that I do not ever get PMS symptoms. I just get awful cramps the first couple of days I am on. So this is what's telling me that it may be something more but we will see I guess. I shall keep you guys updated.

@Gillseybear That's exactly what I am like. I have the cramping right now and it doesn't feel normal. It's not hugely painful but it feels like a fuzzy, buzzing feeling with thw odd sharp pain. I really hope this is implantation 🤞🤞

I had the twitchy thing before I got a BFP with ds (who is now 22). I can remember it vividly as I never had it before or since. The only way I can describe it is it felt as if someone was sewing inside me and pulling gently upwards on the thread! I hope you get your result OP.

I am glad I am not the only one. I thought I was going insane. Being bigger it literally feels like my stomach is bruised and every time I move it's like a bruise being squeezed. Then to top it off I just got home had a coughing fit (cold weather and asthma) which lead to me throwing up.

I want to be hopeful but at the same time I worry that i am just imagining things.

@Gillseybear I am also a lot bigger and I also carry all my weight in my stomach so I know I won't show too much when I eventually get preggo.

I think I am imagining it too as I have read that other people taking pregnacare have also been having cramps outside of af. I normally don't so, who knows. Only time will tell. I really hope it is a sign for both of us x x

@ImpulsiveFlake thank you! Do you remember if you got this right after ovulation, or was it after implantation? Did it carry on all the way up to your bfp? Mine has stopped now (only 8DPO), so I’m worried it was just nothing 😞 I’m having zero other symptoms.

Can I join? Currently 6/7 dpo TTC my first and 3rd month of trying since removal of my mirena.

Hate the TWW and symptom spotting, cycle was 36 days last month which is about a week longer than normal likely due to stress.

Sunday I was on a run and had to stop because a mighty wave of cramps like period type cramps but pretty fiesty and made me feel sick. It went away after around 5 minutes and since just keep getting random twinges more so on right side

No spotting or anything

BBs are tender but isn't unusual before AF but don't think normally this early!

Due to fly Tuesday so hoping for my bfp before then to surprise DP with!

@LateNightTalk of course you can! We are virtually at the same point. I caved and tested this morning even though I promised myself I wouldn’t (of course it was a BFN, I’m only around 8DPO). It’s so hard to know at this point what symptoms mean, but your cramping sounds promising if that isn’t normal for you! I really hope you get your BFP! I’m really struggling this TWW because of my twitching symptom which I’ve never had before. It really got my hopes up but now it has disappeared. I find myself just wishing time away and wanting to get the days over with so I can find out 😞

Negative in time frame but there's a faint line there this morning! I have told myself off and told myself it's an evap line but I've never had it before!

I promised my partner we wouldn't get OCD when TTC but I am driving myself crazy over here (he's chill as has a DS already) 😅

Wow @LateNightTalk ! Was it an early response test?? I have never had any kind of second line (not even an evap), so I really hope that’s the start of your positive! Definitely test again in the morning and keep us updated 😊

I know what you mean, I tell myself every month that I won’t symptom spot or get stressed, but alas 😅 let’s hope this is a lucky month for us all!

@LateNightTalk @TTC1992 honestly it's been so hard not to test at all. I want to test so bad but if I do that, it means that if it's negative then I will have gotten my hopes up for no reason. I am currently around 10DPO according to Flo and my symptoms started at around 6DPO.

@Gillseybear completely understand! I don’t know why I tested as I knew it would probably be negative regardless, but I just couldn’t help myself. However, in doing so, I have obviously convinced myself even further that I’m out this month! Arrrgghhh why do we do this to ourselves?!

It's really hard to tell in that light but it looks like a positive to me. Was there any colour to it??? It's a clear line though.

Well I am confused as I have just been to the toilet and I have started spotting. It's only very faint but it is noticeable on the tissue.
Could it be AF that's come 5 days early or could it be implantation?? Why do our bodies do this to us?
