Hi ladies... my apps think I am ovulating today so about to enter into the dreaded TWW and thought it might be nice to see if I have any 'cycle buddies' out there!? It would be lovely to see some BFP's on here!! We have been trying for a good few months for our first but have really given it everything this month (we're both sick of the sight of each other now😂). Currently have VERY sensitive nipples but other than that feeling good... had quite bad ovulation type pains the last few days but that has stopped now. x

@Emilyx00 thank you! I just felt like my period was coming. And then when it didn't thought I'll just rule it out. And then positive at the weekend after the spotting. I actually did test last week and I don't even know why because I never test before I'm due but that was negative. Same with my second child. So it definitely happens! X

@SophMumBles I hope so! I am anxious. I did spot with my youngest but can't remember the details of it. Guess have to just be hopeful and see what happens. How are you? X

ncob · 04/03/2024 09:19

@Emilyx00 thanks for replying. I was hoping someone would say they had egg white CM in early pregnancy.. still waiting at the end of 2ww currently, got everything crossed.

Emilyx00 · 04/03/2024 09:20

@Claudiasaz amazing news, so happy for you. I had spotting with both of mine too, especially after sex. With my daughter, I went to the hospital twice and both times she was there kicking away xx

MelonSmoothie · 04/03/2024 09:36

Aw @Claudiasaz that's amazing - congratulations! How many DPO are you?

Claudiasaz · 04/03/2024 09:47

Thanks @MelonSmoothie it is the first month I didn't test for ovulation as I had some hormone tests and the Dr said you're ovulating so stop those tests and relax 😂

I think from the ew and pains I am probably around 12/13 dpo x

Claudiasaz · 04/03/2024 09:49

I did a modified egg meets sperm or whatever it is called but without testing. Lol. So I did every other day and then when I felt the pains did an extra day. Missed a day then another day until the ew stopped. Who knows what worked this month to be honest. We tried doing every day one month and were both shattered and it didn't work 😂 It's pot luck isn't it.

MelonSmoothie · 04/03/2024 10:03

Aw @Claudiasaz well clearly it was good advice from the doctor!!!

SophMumBles · 04/03/2024 10:16

@Claudiasaz Hope everything goes well! I’m so anxious too, keep expecting to find that I’ve started bleeding.
Do you think you’ll book an early scan? I’ve done it with previous pregnancies but unsure if I want to this time until I’m further on, maybe 8/9 weeks (if we make it that far) xx

Claudiasaz · 04/03/2024 10:21

@SophMumBles ok a TW for people who are anxious with pregnancies. Don't read on!

I haven't had an early scan before. With the one I lost I had a silent miscarriage at my 12 week scan.

I guess for me it feels like unless I'm scanned every week I'll never lose that scan anxiety!
I do think I would like an early scan this time though. I know it wouldn't have made a difference last pregnancy as they died later but I don't know. I just think it's not a bad idea.

How do you feel about it?

It's totally reasonable to worry and feel anxious but there is every reason it will also be ok!

Hugs X

SophMumBles · 04/03/2024 11:14

@Claudiasaz I know what you mean, when does the worry stop unless you get scanned often. I’m glad I had an early scan with my daughter because it eased my anxiety.
I had an early scan with my MC and saw the baby’s heartbeat at 7 weeks. I’m worried if I did the same again I’d feel more connected to the baby and would hit harder if anything went wrong. When I miscarried that baby, I just woke up one morning at 10 weeks and didn’t feel pregnant anymore, got a scan that afternoon and they confirmed a MC. I don’t feel pregnant this time which is why I’m worrying so much 😩

Thank you for your support, hope you’re feeling okay xx

CharLdn · 04/03/2024 11:40

@Emilyx00 actually much better thank you! I was at a wedding on Saturday so probably a bit of hangxiety too. I’m going on holiday with a friend this week so hoping I can be a tacky tourist and forget my worries this week x

I think some of our BFP’s should arriving soon (if they aren’t here already), how is everyone else doing? Anyone still TTC? :)

CharLdn · 27/11/2024 21:07

@Emilyx00 still TTC 🫠 Getting a bit over it and four of my close friends announced pregnancies this month.

it’s been a bloody rollercoaster if a year!

Familyfirst12 · 30/11/2024 20:52

@Emilyx00 so nice to here from you. Still TTC and finding it harder than ever. Can’t believe it’s been this long, nothing has tested me or our marriage more, it’s been the most difficult year for both of us. I find it so depressing listening to myself but I’ve been really struggling with it all. Hope you’re all doing better than me😢 X

@CharLdn / @Familyfirst12 hi ladies. Glad you’re both here! I finally got my BFP this month, but it’s very early days and I’m so unbelievably anxious. I had to take some time out of TTC because like you said @Familyfirst12 it was impacting my relationship so much. How long have you both been trying now? Are you using any methods (ovulation tracking etc) xx

CharLdn · 02/12/2024 19:15

@Emilyx00 - everything crossed for you ❤️

I’ve thrown everything but the kitchen sink at it, using Mira app, Accupuncture, fertility lube, supplements etc.

we’ve had testing and everything’s normal but looking further into things.

I got a referral from my GP to see a fertility doctor today so looking at further investigations which I’m excited about.

@Familyfirst12 we’re also going to get couples counselling to help us through this because it’s really taking it’s toll!

CharLdn · 02/12/2024 19:20

@Familyfirst12 sending so much solidarity it’s been the hardest year I’ve ever had and its such a strain.

We’ve realised we deal with things in such wildly different ways and it’s not been great. We’re actually going into couples counselling soon because it’s just a lot to deal with and also to support us hopefully into parenthood ❤️

Hang in there SURELY next year should be better 😬
