TWW... starting now!

Hi ladies... my apps think I am ovulating today so about to enter into the dreaded TWW and thought it might be nice to see if I have any 'cycle buddies' out there!? It would be lovely to see some BFP's on here!! We have been trying for a good few months for our first but have really given it everything this month (we're both sick of the sight of each other now😂). Currently have VERY sensitive nipples but other than that feeling good... had quite bad ovulation type pains the last few days but that has stopped now. x

I took another test (I’ve attached it) and I was so sure I could see a line but then I left it on the side and when I’ve gone back to it , it’s faded so much back to my originals. I tested again after and it looked negative but I had just eaten my lunch and had 2 cups of tea so not sure if it was just very diluted. I’m in the office tomorrow so I won’t be testing anymore, and I won’t get home until late so I’m going to test on Friday and see how I get on. Not feeling 100% positive but nothing I can do about it I guess xx

@Emilyx00 Defo see a line in that test too, and would be too much of a coincidence to have that many evap lines?!🤔

Ah I really hope so. I honestly cannot even be bothered to have sex anymore so I’m dreading it if I have to do another month of TTC! xx

@Emilyx00 Really hope it’s good news on Friday 🤞🏻 We are at the same stage. We used the TwoPlus applicators instead this month because we just don’t like the pressure of it all. Would definitely
recommend them, it’s expensive but I’m planning on sterilising and using again if we need to try again. But hopefully you won’t have a need 🙏🏼 x

Tested again this morning don’t seem to be getting line progression 😔
When I’ve been pregnant in the past the lines have darkened drastically within a few days. The easy @ home strips and still super light. And my FRER test is no darker today than it was on Tuesday. Preparing myself to expect the worse. If this is another loss and I don’t know if I have the strength to try again 😔

@SophMumBles I'm so sorry you're worrying, it's completely understandable after what you've been through. How many DPO today?

On the second picture the Thursday line does look darker to me!

8DPO today and not even a sniff of a line....

@MelonSmoothie I’m about 11dpo today which I know is still early but I’ve read HCG should double every two days and I’d say those tests have not doubled 😔 I was also up in the night with terrible stabbing pains on the left side of my abdomen so realistically I think something isn’t right. Staring to wonder if the D&C I had to have has affected my lining or something. Does anyone know if that’s possible?

Don’t lose hope, my 8DPO test was completely negative and then positive by 9DPO 🤞🏻 xx

Hey, im 14/15dpo today. Had af type cramps 11dpo. 13 months of TTC and think I'd learn to not symptom spot and test yet 😂 here's this mornings test for me 😔

@SophMumBles my line looked like that with my second daughter and I was actually due my period! All was fine! Maybe ovulated later or something..hugs x

I think your Thursday looks darker 😊
Plus some people don't always double in 2 days and just produce the hormone a bit slower x

@SophMumBles fingers crossed it's darker tomorrow, hope isn't lost yet but it's so hard to not think the worst isn't it.

Sorry it's not good news for you @Primrose91 - it's impossible not to read into every symptom isn't it. And avoid testing early. I said I would wait til my period was due and tested 8DPO 😂🥴 as it's been 13 months have you been able to get some help from the doctor? It's a year isn't it?

@MelonSmoothie haha its so hard to not test! I've been good the last few months but this month just feels different. After the af cramps Monday and still no AF today..
yeah I'm under my local fertility clinic and they've been great, we just have to wait now for when it's our time 😊 still trying naturally though as you never know!

@Primrose91 SO hard. I'm not telling my husband either as he's very much "just wait til your period that's easier" 😂

When is yours due? Could there be a bit of hope this month?xxx

Due today! I do hope so as usually after AF cramps it'll start the day after. Not holding my breath though.. I hate the clearblue early tests. They have such bad indents

Hi ladies. I am about 10dpo now I think. I have had backache and little cramps all week 😤 I know it's my period I just want it to come now. Having one last try this next cycle and then going to take a few months off and see if that makes any difference giving my body a break, as I would have been TTC for 6 months since the missed miscarriage. I know it's not long compared to a lot of women but I'm just finding it too consuming and I need to get through the time when my lost baby was due I think to go again. I really thought I'd be pregnant by then but there we go. Sh£# happens as they say.

Any happier updates? 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

No updates here @Claudiasaz apart from sore boobs but I think I'm just looking for symptoms tbh. 8DPO today so going to try and hold off til Monday if I can.

A few months off sounds like a good idea, it's all consuming isn't it. I'm sorry this is going to be a difficult time for you and you're getting AF symptoms on top of that. When are you due on?

Eughhhhhh @Claudiasaz sorry 😫 so are you going to take a few months off from now? Is there any nice "fuck it" plans you can do? Go for some drinks? More drinks? A holiday maybe to keep distracted?

@MelonSmoothie I will give it one last try and then have a break. Not sure if I should do anything different this month or not really 😂 I'm doing everything I did to conceive the last times and it worked so who knows! Pot luck! How are you feeling?

I mean throw everything at it if you're going to have a go - why not? I saw some conception cup things in boots the other day (when buying pregnancy tests to start taking at 8DPO 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️) which can increase chances I think have you seen them? I think they basically keep the sperm up there for longer... I was thinking we might try that in the next few months as honestly we both really struggle with scheduled sex..

Hey girls!

Im currently coming to the end of my tww trying for our first baby! I’m around 11dpo and had BFN’s so far but have felt very different and had a lot of symptoms which I don’t usually get before my period! Anyone had any of these and got a BFP? AF Is due either Saturday or Monday but I’m not hopeful :(

3dpo noticed I was getting white/slightly yellow tinged cm that was thick and stringy and that’s remained every day
8dpo I wiped and there was watery brown/dark red on the tissue but not loads
11dpo boobs have started to be tender and had some heart burn today

I’ve also been nauseous for days has been on and off but I woke up in the night feeling very sick around 8/9dpo and one of my boobs felt like it was an implant which was strange!

I’ve also had cramps like everyday and lower back ache, I do get this with AF but only a few days before I’m due whereas this started a few days ago!

I’ve tested since around 9dpo which I know is early but all have been negatives :(

Definitely not an expert but I really do think you know your own body so if something feels different then something could be going on! Have you been trying long?

I can't remember who posted it, I think @Familyfirst12 but in the first 10 or so posts there was a really helpful link for countdown to pregnancy which shows the % of pregnant people that get a positive or negative test on the various DPO - could be worth looking at just to know you're still in the game!

@SophMumBles sending hugs! Everything is probably ok, sometimes tests take a little longer to get darker and there’s lots of things that can influence it! I remember when I was pregnant with my son doing two tests from the same pack and one was so so dark I was so excited, took the next one and it was so much lighter (using the same wee!) the EPU said all tests have a different amount of dye, even in the same pack.
