1dpo - Anyone want to join during the two week wait?

Hi all, currently 1dpo. Hoping for a lucky month. I lost my twin boys a few months ago at 29 weeks due to TTTS. Two days before this I had a beautiful scan and two perfect babies - only 6 weeks away from c-section. And two days after my scan - our world fell apart. I had no movement and all of a sudden, I was told one of my babies had no heartbeat and then four days later, we had to remove life support from his twin brother as he was so ill. My sons were beautiful, visually perfect babies who were so unlucky. I miss them terribly.

So Here I am 1dpo and hoping for the best. Would love the support from any other hopeful ladies and in turn I'll support ye too. Much luck to us all 😀

2dpo & feeling very emotional & very short tempered.

Had nipple pain last night, like a hot needle was being inserted into one, it was awful

Daisychain27 · 30/01/2024 21:26

Congrats @Holl89 that’s lovely news!!

I’m officially 3DPO according to both my apps. So me and my partner DTD on ovulation day and 1DPO 🤦🏼‍♀️ so needless to say I’m not feeling hopeful this time. One odd thing, I’ve had pulling/twinging around my left ovary since 1DPO. I usually get this around ovulation but it’s unusual for it to linger so long after ovulation. Not sure what that’s about!

My bbt isn’t looking great either, had a dip today to near coverline? Not sure what that’s about either, too early for implantation and AF for things to be dipping. Agh!

Ncl31 · 30/01/2024 21:41

I hope it is okay to join. I’m currently 2DPO.
Been TTC for 26 months, got our first ever BFP on DHs birthday in December, unfortunately that pregnancy ended at the end of December with a miscarriage.
i feel super anxious right now, the only “symptom” so to speak is sore nipples.
baby dust to you all

EvelynKatie · 30/01/2024 21:56

Hello, I’m 5DPO and on month 7 of TTC #1. Fingers crossed for us all!

dreamanotherdream · 30/01/2024 22:03

Hi! Joining in as well if ok, currently 2dpo and a bit new to all of this! Had cramps last night which I don't normally get but not sure if i'm just overthinking things! Counting down the days to test! Sending baby dust to all of you! <3

BabyBorn · 30/01/2024 22:32

@Ella31 wow. You haven't half been through it! You sound like a strong woman! That's great that you are regular as I know having losses and stress combined could have made your cycles go a bit haywire. You sound like you really know your body too which helps! I'm sure it will have for you really soon. Looking forward to hearing all about it when it does!

I've stopped stressing now as I did this with my 2nd when I was TTC then and it took longer than I was expecting.

Welcome to all the other ladies that have joined too and baby dust to us all Flowers

Hiii everyone - question, has anyone experienced a dip in BBT a week before period is due? Mine dropped by 0.3 this morning and have googled (lol) and read that it could be implantation dip?? This is the first month tracking BBT so no months to compare it to. Really hoping it jumps up again tomorrow morning!! Otherwise do you think it’s just back to baseline ahead of AF next week??

Ncl31 · 31/01/2024 09:22

@Llr2023 i usually get a dip around 7-9DPO
both on my negative cycles but also my cycle I got a BFP, sadly that ended in miscarriage but yes i did.
on the cycles when AF arrived it usually dropped the day before or day of AF, around 13dpo.

some people only get a dip when they get a BFP though so probably difficult to tell if you have nothing to compare

Beanie14 · 31/01/2024 12:17

Hey everyone, this TWW is painfully slow.
Getting massively impatient.
I’ve had some pretty obvious symptoms but trying to not get my hopes up.

Recommendations on how you’re distracting yourselves ?

Ncl31 · 31/01/2024 12:47

@Beanie14 how many DPO are you now?
im 3DPO and it feels like it’s dragging already. I’ve just got a super busy work schedule the next 2 weeks so I’m hoping that’ll help pass the time.
when are you planning on testing? What symptoms do you have?

Beanie14 · 31/01/2024 13:11

@Ncl31
I’m 6dpo today. Fingers crossed it goes fast for you!!

I’ve been having menstrual cramps and lower back bad since yesterday. Just like the first day of my period. I never get any AF symptoms usually until the day of AF.

Ncl31 · 31/01/2024 13:22

@Beanie14 hopefully the change from normal is a good sign for you then.
i remember in December I had real bad backache at 9DPO and my cm never really disappeared. That’s all the different symptoms I had to the usual.

BabyBorn · 31/01/2024 14:05

Hi ladies. I don't have any symptoms apart from being really tired but I do wake a lot in the night with my little girl still.

I went to reflexology today and she knows we are TTC and she told me to try and rest and relax for the next two weeks and to drink plenty of water. Easier said than done thought! Lol

Beanie14 · 31/01/2024 15:02

@Ncl31 Was this when you had a BFP?
Im sorry to hear about your loss too!

Beanie14 · 31/01/2024 15:05

@BabyBorn I think relaxing when you already have little ones is very hard isn’t it!
My son is 2 so is very busy, how old is your little girl?
Im going to try and drink more water too! I drink way too much coffee/ tea 😬

midnights0 · 31/01/2024 15:58

I didn't realise I was 5dpo today, it's gone really quick! After 4 mc I've relaxed with tracking and I don't check my app everyday 🥲 I've muted all notifications though so nothing pops up. I'm not testing until the day my period is due. Is anyone else? Xx

Sorry for your losses @midnights0. I’m going to try and hold off on testing until my period’s due, which is around 11th-12th Feb. I checked my Flo app today and in September I tested (faintly) positive at 10DPO and then got a definite positive at 16DPO when my period didn’t arrive. But I think I’ll try to wait longer than 10DPO this time. Good luck x

midnights0 · 31/01/2024 16:42

@meepthebeep my period is due the same time as yours roughly! That will be 4 weeks after my last MC so it may be a bit out but every other MC I've had it's always been 4 weeks after. Has anyone got any symptoms?

Ncl31 · 31/01/2024 18:01

@Beanie14 yes it was with my BFP.
only 11 more days to go until I’ll test this time 😔

Beanie14 · 31/01/2024 18:50

@Ncl31 got everything crossed for you that this is your time ❤️

MamaBee23 · 31/01/2024 21:19

How are we all getting on? Any symptoms? I'm 5dpo and have loads of discharge today - it's white & Creamy so no concerns regarding infection or anything. Just unusual for me. Not sure if that's a early sign or again I'm I'm trying to read into any possible symptom.

Daisychain27 · 31/01/2024 21:26

@MamaBee23 4DPO and loads of sticky CM for me but it’s tinged with pink/brown :( I know it’s way too early to be implantation bleeding, so I’ve got no idea what’s going on. I’ve also been having a lot of pulling, burning and now cramping sensations on ovaries. If I wasn’t keeping track of my cycles I’d be convinced AF is arriving, but as I’m 4DPO this literally cannot be the case 😩

Ncl31 · 31/01/2024 21:53

@Beanie14 same to you. Let us know if you get any more symptoms

Libbynznz · 31/01/2024 22:39

5dpo I have no symptoms. I don’t think it’s my mth last time I was pregnant. I had bad insomnia in the tww I have none this cycle.

CadoAvo · 01/02/2024 01:28

Hi all, mind if I join? I'm 1DPO and ttc baby number 1, cycle 1. (All the 1s ha).

We are an lgbt couple so are trying via AI, which has required a good bit of planning so I'm excited to even be at this stage. Keeping the expectation low as I know it can take months but would like to join other tww buddies ☺️

Good luck to all and looking forward to hearing others experiences since I'm so new to this.
