1dpo - Anyone want to join during the two week wait?

Hi all, currently 1dpo. Hoping for a lucky month. I lost my twin boys a few months ago at 29 weeks due to TTTS. Two days before this I had a beautiful scan and two perfect babies - only 6 weeks away from c-section. And two days after my scan - our world fell apart. I had no movement and all of a sudden, I was told one of my babies had no heartbeat and then four days later, we had to remove life support from his twin brother as he was so ill. My sons were beautiful, visually perfect babies who were so unlucky. I miss them terribly.

So Here I am 1dpo and hoping for the best. Would love the support from any other hopeful ladies and in turn I'll support ye too. Much luck to us all 😀

Welcome @BabyBorn yeah it's kind of a catch 22 with me. I'm desperate to get pregnant again but every scan will be nerve-wracking. I guess I'm lucky in that what happened to my boys was a rare complication associated with identical twins so it was seriously bad luck , not genetic. It doesn't bring them back but it means future babies have the same chance as any pregnancy.

I'm finding this tww really slow. Found I've become obsessive with cervical position..

How is everyone getting on? I've sore boobs since yesterday. Trying not to read it into it as I'm only 2/3 dpo but it was a symptom for me last time.

Definitely have an increase in CM today which I’ve never noticed on other cycles. Also feel sick but I think that’s anxiety related more than anything else! Soooo slow… I want to know NOW! Have been pregnant before and ended in a chemical, but I remember my boobs being so sore - haven’t got that at all yet but only 5dpo so still time?? 🤣

I am 4DPO today. I think my only symptoms are sore boobs(not much) - the TWW is going really slooow. When are you going to start testing?

I'm 4dp and like you have sore boobs and had to get up a few times in the night for a wee which isn't like me. Not sure if that's even a symptom or if I've a potential uti coming my way from all the baby dancing! Lol.

Also 4dpo today & like you feel like the tww is going ridiculously slow. I haven't bought any tests simply because I always cave & test early so I will probably buy some and test around 12dpo. When are you thinking of testing?

Yeah I am sure you will be fine this next time. We have no choice but to look forwards do we. It’s all so nerve wracking from start to finish I agree. The only time a pregnancy gives me a bit of peace is when I’ve had that 20 week scan and I can actually feel the baby moving!🥴

I haven’t got any symptoms that I am aware of. I pee in the night regardless and I am still breastfeeding my 19 month old so I cant go on fullness or weird feelings in my boobs as they are always getting ragged around 😆😆

Hi everyone, can I join? I’m 2DPO today and managed to DTD three times during my fertile window but not on ovulation day due to getting thrush (🙄😣🤦🏻‍♀️), do you think I could still be in with a chance? Saturday was my ‘static smiley’ day on OPKs so at least we hit that one!

It was only our first month of trying again after a MMC in December and I think maybe getting thrush was my body’s way of telling us to slow down a bit, maybe?

@meepthebeep yes youre deffo in with a chance. We only managed it once.

I’ve been having symptoms but not sure if I’m over thinking it. I’m 5dpo today.
So yesterday needed to wee constantly.
today it’s back to normal again but since last night I’ve had a really bad lower back and stomach cramps and some weird pulling and mild stabby pains in my tummy. Feels like AF but I don’t usually get symptoms of that till the day of and it’s only ever the first day.

Period due in 10 days! Seems like such a long time

Welcome. Absolutely, I've read before ovulation is the best.

Do you mind me asking what type of CM you are experiencing? I've the same, but it's kind of clear and shiny. Sorry for the tmi🤣

@meepthebeep definitely in with a chance but like someone else has already said, the best chance is just before ovulation. Fingers crossed!

My CM has been gross since I had my last baby in 2022. It's been fine in all the other weeks apart from the week before and during ovulation. It's been like raw egg white and absolutely loads of it. 🤢

Only 3dpo and feeling really low today 🙁 want to be positive but can't help but think I'm not going to be pregnant and have to start all over again. It really is mentally draining .

That's great though @BabyBorn means you are fertile.

Haha I over shared in the first place 😂 it’s milky/creamy not crazy thick. It was mostly this morning - seems a bit more normal this afternoon. Who knows! Nothing else today apart from sick/anxious feeling 🤷🏽‍♀️

@Ella31 hopefully!! I didn't get my periods back until last April and it took my body 3 months to start ovulating again. I feel the pain when the egg tries to get out of the follicle wall, so I don't need to OPT luckily but I have done to double check its positive either side of ovulation! 😂😂

Have you got a regular cycle? Mines usually 27-28 days x

I feel the same. 2dpo today but I just feel like it won't happen ever.
So sick of the stress about DTD & the symptom spotting then the upset....then it all happens again. It's a vicious cycle

I do, my cycle came back about 8 weeks after I had my boys. This is my second ovulation since I lost them. So it's been pretty bang on since I ovulated last month. I can't get over how anxious I am that I won't get pregnant again though.

The irony is I've been pregnant 3 times in 12 months. 1st miscarriage I conceived 1st time trying. 2nd was a chemical and third I got pregnant right after my chemical but sadly my boys passed due to a condition associated with twins at 29 weeks.

@narwhalsarereal yip it's not good been feeling sick of the stress I've felt today as well, hopefully tomoro were feeling better 🤞
@Ella31 that's a good idea, I've got a bath running then early bed and fingers crossed the next week goes in quickly!
