1dpo - Anyone want to join during the two week wait?

Hi all, currently 1dpo. Hoping for a lucky month. I lost my twin boys a few months ago at 29 weeks due to TTTS. Two days before this I had a beautiful scan and two perfect babies - only 6 weeks away from c-section. And two days after my scan - our world fell apart. I had no movement and all of a sudden, I was told one of my babies had no heartbeat and then four days later, we had to remove life support from his twin brother as he was so ill. My sons were beautiful, visually perfect babies who were so unlucky. I miss them terribly.

So Here I am 1dpo and hoping for the best. Would love the support from any other hopeful ladies and in turn I'll support ye too. Much luck to us all 😀

That's actually such a good idea, I wouldn't have even thought about it to be honest!

Tested today (against my better judgement) and was met with a nasty indent line 😟 completely forgot about indents as all previous for the past two months have been stark white!

I just realised I wrote distress instead of de-stress 🤣

Was it definitely an indent?

I'd say so, not a full line and where it was there, was grey

Also could only see it with my eyes, which sounds stupid but I mean compared to a photo 🤣

I'm going to say hold out and test tomorrow again, hopefully it will be stronger

Will definitely test tomorrow morning but I really don't have much hope for it. Surely it would be way too early to be a positive? I did take a picture as I had to leave the bathroom, but as I say, you can't see anything at all on it

@2BabyOrNot2Baby give it a day or so and re test. What DPO or you I know it wasn’t clear but what do you think it might be? Xx

I think my best bet is going with Monday as it's the closest I found to peak, so roughly 9dpo? I know still early so I have no idea why I did test but we all know how it can be 🥴 but assuming I did ovulate at my normal times, my period is 7 days late. Not getting any PMS symptoms, closest I'm getting to that is lower back pain but doesn't feel the way it usually does with AF so I'm still none the wiser!

Hi ladies,

CD 6 for me today as the clue App doesn't count spotting on the first day as another day! 🙄 should ovulate on the 22nd of March. Still seed cycling and keeping the amount of times I breastfeed at a good rate.

Have reflexology tomorrow with a bit of acupuncture thrown in.

Got two booze days planned as it's my birthday on Sunday and also a friends birthday the week after so I'm celebrating my birthday with my family and have a day out planned with some friends as a joint birthday celebration. I am not going to worry about it though.

Was thinking of seeing a fertility specialist soon if nothing happens. Just to have my bloods done to see if my hormones are balanced and to see if I am actually ovulating. I can feel the pains of ovulation but doesn't mean it's actually worked if you see what I mean!

@BabyBorn how long have you been trying?
@2BabyOrNot2Baby oh this sounds promising. Maybe wait until 10dpo and test again.
CD 9 here so I’ll be testing opks from today on. Fingers crossed. I’m “supposed” to ovulate Monday and my OH is home this weekend so will have to DTD lots over the weekend to make sure I’m in with a chance x

I’m okay, better than I thought I’d be actually. Onwards and upwards, I’m just happy I had a normal length cycle so hopefully I’ll be more successful

That is such a bonus. I was the same. Month before last I had a 36 day cycle. Its now back to 30 days.

@BabyBorn I could be wrong but I think breastfeeding can delay ovulation. I remember being told I chose to breastfeed , my cycle would be affected.

Also your gp should be able to do a 21 day pdg blood test to see if you ovulate. This is usually 7 days before your period

Still no hint of a line, or AF.

Will soon be coming up to March's predicted ovulation date. Is it possible to ovulate without a period? That sounds so stupid but just wondering whether it's worth trying OPKs again

@Ella31 yes that only really applies to the early breastfeeding days. I'm 21 months down the line now and my periods came back almost a year ago. OPK and ovulation pains told me I started ovulating again in June last year. Been trying since then really. I was feeding so much the past 6 months though as my LO has been teething and constantly poorly at nursery. Now I've cut down drastically so hoping this will mine things a long. How are you? Going on holiday today aren't you? 😃

@Beanie14 I've been trying since I started ovulating in June 2023. Like I explained to Ella, I have been breastfeeding so much over the past 6 months as my little girl has been teething or constantly poorly with nursery germs. As I've cut down so much this should really help. I'm 39 on Sunday and it would be nice to have had a baby before my 40th birthday! 😅😂😂

Thats good to know. I am indeed. Hoping the trip will relax me to just let go and let things happen. Hoping this is our month @BabyBorn I just started using ovasense and doing accupuncture in 2 weeks.
