@Riverstardust it makes you wonder if it’s even worth doing doesn’t it! 😂

Riverstardust · 10/04/2024 17:22

@Barney2009 for sure. The months that looked perfect bbt wise weren't the month. And then that thing, I was sure I was out because of it.
Just take it with a pinch of salt!

4LeafCloverBaby · 10/04/2024 17:42

My temping was pretty reliable when I conceived

Livingonhope · 14/04/2024 17:59

hi all!!! really just looking to vent/ reassurance...I finally got my BFP yesterday on a clear blue digital and the normal clear blue at day 11 dpo

today I took another digital and clear blue again both said same thing. HOWEVER a few hours later I did the clear blue how many weeks and it said not pregnant?!?! but yet a few hours earlier I was

other thing bugging me is the cheapies are still super faint no line progression at all I didnt worry originally about this because I thought clear blue digital would be much more accurate but now I'm worried about it being chemical

has anyone had something similar and came out with GOOD news? please and thanks x

I'm still hanging around having a read. But still no joy here. Hating the Chinese herbs tastes awful. Started gym on a weight loss journey too to see if thay helps. So thays accupuncture, Chinese herbs, gym, stopped smoking and drinking at Xmas, earing healthy, and taking all the vitamins. 2amd half years ttc and still no joy. 43 in August. 8 days till period due. I'm giving up with ovulation tests and just gonna see what happens.

Riverstardust · 18/04/2024 07:56

@Racket81 something I tried in the cycle I conceived was fertility tea by a brand called myrtle&maude. Not sure if it worked but I tried it that cycle.
Don't give up hope, you'll get there!

Racket81 · 18/04/2024 16:46

Thank you this will be my last year of trying so fingers crossed. X

KittyFantastica · 06/05/2024 21:30

Hi all, anyone still around?

I'm 6 weeks post D&C now and have just had my first Aunt Flo arrive since the surgery. It was a traumatic time, the last pregnancy, and we really want to continue but also still feel a bit raw. We've decided to stay relaxed, go about our usual business this month and if it happens, it happens. If it doesn't, it doesn't. We're both getting on and feeling the pressure of time ticking away, but also feeling like we stressed so much the last cycle of trying that it did neither of us any good.

Hope you're all keeping well.

4LeafCloverBaby · 07/05/2024 07:23

Hey @KittyFantastica I still pop on to see what’s going on here 😊 It must have been a very stressful time for you both & I think this approach sounds like a good idea. Try not to put any pressure yourselves. Good luck 🤞🏼🍀 xx

Hey @KittyFantastica I'm still here! Hope you're doing okay, sounds like being more relaxed about it is a great idea :) My husbands been away for two months, which is why I've been quiet! Back soon though, so will let you know any progress we have too :) xx

I've actually just been for blood tests last week - and got a couple of messages just now saying a few were fine, but I need a repeat test for one of them, and a phone appt for the other.. So feeling a little uneasy if I'm honest. Just hoping it's all stuff that can be fixed! At least it would explain why we weren't conceiving, if there's something not quite right! xx

Hi all . Long time without posting. Basically I fell pregnant in Jan (2 previous mcs at the time ) and had another chemical . I then fell pregnant in March and it felt really different.... much stronger tests , 3+ on digital, bump started showing already (I'm very small naturally). Got past my 4/5 week scary time when I'd had my previous chemicals and all was well.. started feeling excited . Started spotting at 8 weeks and had an emergency scan to be told there was no baby ... they then refused to do anything for 2 weeks saying I might have my dates wrong (I knew 100 per cent I didn't). Have just had a very traumatic weekend where i was going through labour pains and passed everything .. this means ive had 3 miscarriages in 6 months and i suppose i just wanted to hear from anyone that went through anything similar and then had a success story... ? Good luck to everyone still waiting and hoping x

Sorry @Boatlifelover, I've only just seen your post.

I just wanted to say my experience was so similar. Chemical in January and then a missed miscarriage in March (we were lucky enough to see a heartbeat although I'd suspected something wasn't quite right, gut feeling). I had a D&C 22nd March and am only just getting my cycle back, so I've had two losses in three months.

It's awful to see this happens to so many people. Feel free to reach out any time if you need some extra solidarity.

Morning ladies, anyone good at chart reading?

I've been temping with my smart watch just to see if my cycle is back to normal now I'm testing negative, but I don't think it's accurate. Some of these temps are practically hypothermic. It's set to collect temps same time every morning as soon as my alarm goes off. I did OPKs from day 8 and every single one has been negative too. I just want to know I'm ovulating again 😭

@KittyFantastica I’m not chat expert but my cycles have been a bit different since my d&c in January after mmc if it’s any consolation. I had my first “period” 19 days after and didn’t ovulate, then I was 28 days, 30 days, 30 days and this month was 32 days! I’m ovulating but still haven’t managed to catch 🙁. I was always 28 days bang on so I’m thinking things might just be taking a little time

Mummysparrow · 22/05/2024 12:06

Hi everyone, unfortunately I will be back in the group as I discovered last week at 13+2 that my baby was unlikely to survive pregnancy so currently going through a TFMR. So as soon as my period is back I will be back on the TTC bandwagon 😩

Hi hun, hope you’re well. I temped religiously for 6 months & would definitely digest using an under the tongue basal thermometer. Mine was about £10 off Amazon xx

Sorry to hear of your loss @Barney2009, it's just the worst feeling.

Thank you, I hate to admit it, but I think you're entirely right about cycle being off after the D&C. I was hoping my hormones would all be back to normal by now as it's been nearly 9 weeks since my surgery, but it doesn't look like it. I've even had spotting yesterday and today, the tiniest bit of pink followed by a tiny bit of red when I wiped. I recon my hormones are completely out of whack. Either my period is on the way 9 days early, or my body is struggling to ovulate. LH this morning was so low it didn't even leave a line.

I hate the not knowing. My anxiety is through the roof wondering when I'll ever go back to normal.

Barney2009 · 22/05/2024 19:26

@KittyFantastica its hard isn’t it. I’m in a place now where I’m learning to trust in my body and believe that it’s doing its best and it knows what it’s doing. If I’m not falling pregnant there’s obviously a reason for that and it will happen when time is right and only if it’s meant to. Not easy, but having to do a bit of mind talk on myself

KittyFantastica · 26/05/2024 08:32

Looks like my cycle is definitely still out of whack. I spotted for three days, had one day of no spotting, then had bleeding yesterday. It seemed too heavy for spotting, but a bit light for a period, but I'm going to guess it's AF. I'm devastated as I really thought my cycle had finally returned to normal when I ovulated day 15. It has been nearly 10 weeks since my D&C now and I could scream. It was only CD22 yesterday. My luteal phase was only 4 days before spotting started :(.

I feel it's impossible to trust my body anymore @Barney2009 it has betrayed me so much and continues to do so now. I have no hope unless my luteal phase eventually goes back to normal, but no idea if it will.

Racket81 · 26/05/2024 12:29

So I finally got my possative after 2 and half years plus trying amd a miscarriage last year. I will be due end Jan 2025 at 43 years old. Can't wait to get to 12 weeks in tje safe zone and I will also be in gran canaria at tje time.

Those that have had a missed miscarriage or TFMR and had a d&c or medical termination, how long has it taken for your periods to return? I gave birth to my little baby on Thursday and thankfully I don't appear to have any retained products but these hormones have got me all over the place. Finding it hard to accept that I am not pregnant anymore and just want my baby back. I took some pictures of the baby and keep looking at them and having a cry.
