Just an update, AF hasn’t arrived yet but not getting my hopes up as had BFN on Sunday

Hey @Barney2009 - Fingers crossed your test was just too early. Yeah I had a BFN yesterday and then it looks like AF is here today. That's me out until Summer now as DH is away now. Gutted. Trying to look on the positive side, as I can drink at a couple of events/parties over the next few weeks, but I'm really scraping the barrel haha.

I had a horrendous night last night. It felt like someone had reached into my tummy and was twisting my insides, literally like excruciating period pains. So DH and I decided to test this morning instead of waiting until the weekend so we knew my period was late.

I had a BFP!!! So excited but also terrified that last night is just going to be a regular occurrence! 😂

Only a quick update from me before I leave for a while. Unfortunately, we had confirmation this morning that baby stopped growing last week. I'm booked in for a D&C on Friday.

So I am not testing and have relaxed about it all a bit this month but I am due on at the weekend so we will see. If no luck I have my Chinese herbs here ready to start taking on day 1 of cycle. All £144 worth of them which have been exactly tailored to my needs at different parts of my cycle. Wish me luck gagging and swallowing them. 😂

@Racket81 what have you been given to take? Did you go to a Chinese herbal medicine place?

@Racket81 Haha good luck with all your medicines! I've got all the supplements that @4LeafCloverBaby recommended and there's a couple of them that don't always go down too easily haha. But trusting the process 💪

@CharliP33 going to let you in on my TMI way of taking tablets haha…chew up some food, biscuit is a good one, don’t swallow…flatten it out on your tongue, place the tablet/s on top & then roll your tongue so the biscuit goes around the tablets…then just swallow like a mouthful of biscuit!! Sorry if it sounds gross but helps me out massively!! Lol x

@4LeafCloverBaby Haha I love that you've got a method! It's just the ones that aren't coated for me; they stick to my tongue haha. I'm usually fine if I take a big gulp of a drink. But I do love biscuits so maybe I'll try it haha x

just to let you all know i am still here... so happy for all of the BFP that have come and so sorry and sad for the ones that weren't meant to be or haven't happened yet! Partner came back home after a week apart, it has been really tough time for me, we decided we really want to give things a go but still means to be responsible (obviously) baby making is on hold until we are secure. Love to you all xx❤

I wish mine was tablet form but its pots of brown looking powder that I have to mix with boiling water and then drink. Think I'm gonna have to hold my nose and down it 🤣

So it's official cycle day 1 and the Chinese herbs are indeed disgusting but 1st dose down the hatch. Twice a day here we come. 🤣
This I'd my last attempt I've tried accupuncture and Chinese herbs and o ce these run out I'm not spending any more money on ttc. I'm 43 this year and I'm just gonna forget about it and of it happens it happens and if it hasn't happened by Christmas then I think I need reconsider having a coil again as my age is against me and how long to ypu keep going.

Sounds like you’ve given it a really good shot. Here’s hoping the herbs work for you. It’s so expensive when you think about everything that’s available to buy to try to help ttc.

Ive got an appointment tomorrow morning to discuss my blood test results….trying to take it once step at a time but it’s hard not to get ahead of myself and worry about the what ifs.
