Hey everyone - just finished AF I’m at CD 7 - first month using premom OPK and CB - I have a short cycle (23-27 days) so when would you say is best to start testing?

@4LeafCloverBaby I'm CD 15 today so no idea what's going on I'm going to try test this evening see if I see any line again, wish everything was really regular and not such a guessing game sometimes 🙄

@CharliP33 if it’s your first cycle tracking I would probably start tracking from now if you can afford it.

Hi all, hope you don’t mind me joining the thread. I sadly suffered an MMC in November and went onto have 2 lots of failed medical management followed by a d&c, which was successful but it’s been quite a journey! Anyway, I had my first period after the surgery 2 weeks ago and have been temping ever since. I got a static smiley on the CB OPK today, and I’ve attached my temp chart. Do you think I’ve done enough to cover all bases or would you DTD again tomorrow? Any advice would be greatly appreciated x

@4LeafCloverBaby been using them since Dec so not long, Jan was probably the first proper month. They are just some I bought off ebay 🤷‍♀️ not sure if they are dud but I haven't got sore nipples yet either so maybe just ovulating later? As had sore nipples a few months when ovulation time occurs

@Cazzy87 Yeah sore nipples is a massive giveaway for me too! If you don’t have much luck with those then try the easy@home Amazon ones

@4LeafCloverBaby very odd I'm 2dpo and I'm getting quite crampy, not usual but cycles differ I suppose, could be post ovulation cramps xx

@Lowrilawson really hoping for up hun. The earliest you are likely to feel anything to o with implantation is 5/6DPO. x

@4LeafCloverBaby yeah definitely not anything pregnancy related might be the after effects of ovulation, my cervix was open and has closed tonight so could be that xx

@Lowrilawson Yeah true. I had the weirdest situation with my cervix. It dropped down really low & was open the day before my period which is usual & then I got my bfp?! I haven’t touched it since as don’t want to interfere with anything but it’s totally goes against what they say should happen with your cervix x

@4LeafCloverBaby I'm in academic publishing and there's absolutely nothing going in the sector. I'm not even sure how to transfer the skills as it's a specialist role. Very stressful.

@4LeafCloverBaby I genuinely just think each persons body is so different! I was a little naughty and had a few drinks last night as I just don't feel it's my Month but then again I've felt that every month ahah xx

@KittyFantastica I guess that is quite specific isn’t it…I had to Google it! Maybe some kind of office work to tide you over whilst looking for some thing better, or temp work. I really hope you manage to find a solution soon hun x

@Lowrilawson yeah it’s so odd…especially when all the research says high & closes if you’re pregnant & low & open for your period?! I wouldn’t worry about the few drinks, you can’t put your life completely on hold whilst TTC (unless you want to of course) How you feeling today? x

@4LeafCloverBaby I'm okay, woke up in the middle of the night sweating my tits off😹 this morning my temp is 36.3 which is better than 3 days ago at 35.7, I've had like a sharp pain on my lower right side turning into slight cramping, just odd, feels different as I don't get cramping this early but each cycle differs xx

@4LeafCloverBaby I've bought some easy home ones so see what they say when they arrive and I test with them 👍 be upset if i just don't ovulate at all this month 😕

Period has finally started so on to cycle 3. I have to do my Hertility blood test on day 3 so I am hoping those results won't come up with anything to be concerned about.
I am thinking of trying a diet to promote fertility this month, more so to promote progesterone. I may look into supplements as well. Any recommendations?
I hope everyone is ok x

@Mummysparrow that sucks that af arrived but good that you are being proactive about it 😊 There are a lot of different supplements you can take but you really need to know what the problem/aim is first. Wishing you all the luck with your testing and this cycle 🤞🏼🍀x

@4LeafCloverBaby blahh had sharp pulling just on the right side on and off all day, feels a bit better now gone more to my back just dull ache, I'm worried I'll just get my period early this month xx

Sorry to hear you've been having some troubles. Sorry I've not used this app before, so I can't tell when you've DTD but if you've got a static smiley, then I would DTD that night and the following night. Once an egg is released it survives for 12-24 hours, and once you see a Static smiley it mean it's soon to be released, so you have 24-48 hours - so that should be the chances that you get :) Message back if you've got anymore questions!
