Bbt chart HELP!

I decided to track bbt this month for fun after a long time. I started having ewcm and open cervix which went away on Monday but appeared the next day again. By Thursday it was gone again so I’m guessing ovulation was the day before. Also opk was reading 0.5 on Wednesday and 0.2 on Thursday which also matches my previous pattern. But my bbt is rising by 0.1 every two days and all the time I tracked bbt it followed the same pattern of 36.3-36.5-36.8. I had ovary pains and my boobs are slightly sore. Could this be anovulation?

@Dan521 I agree best thing to do is keep temping everyday and see what happens. You probably don’t have pcos as those charts usually have very late ovulation with normal rise. It’s looking more like your body trying to ovulate and failing but that last rise is looking good.

my temp has stayed up. It’s looking like cd14 may be ovulation day. I’ve took the opk override off because each time i put a positive opk in it just puts ovulation back a day. Im going to wait and see what day the app says it is.

another positive opk for me today. They are pointless me doing because they tell me nothing. Im going to continue doing them out of curiosity. That’s 8 days of positives now.

@Dan521 That’s interesting that they’re still so positive but it does look like ovulation was on cd14. If you get another high temp the app will probably automatically mark cd14 as ovulation.

mine also stayed up and it’s high tomorrow as well then cd 18 will be marked as ovulation. I have no idea when I ovulated. I was sure it was Monday or Wednesday but neither had a temp rise the next morning. Maybe I should invest in a proper bbt thermometer to see even the small changes.

I finally got some cross hairs but I wasn’t expecting this…

@Dan521 Interesting. I have no idea why it would mark that day as ovulation. Keep tracking and you’ll see if af arrives but it’s looking like you have ovulated. Are your opks still positive?

I had another rise today and like I said it marked ovulation on cd18 which is wrong.

@emmatcc1 i was under the impression that bbt was the most accurate method for this, of course when I do it it doesn’t run smoothly 🙈 like everything else I do.

I randomly done a pregnancy test today and got this… I’ve had false positives on these tests in the past though.

I had positive opk last night I haven’t done one yet today. I didn’t want to do FMU incase it was overly concentrated giving a false result. I’ll do one when I next go the toilet.

@Dan521 It’s definitely there but not sure how accurate given that you were supposed to ovulate recently. Maybe try a different brand?

@emmatcc1 im not getting my hopes I’ve had false positives on these in the past and ran out and spent a fortune on other brands. I’ve got a box of them with loads in I’ll just keep doing them. If they keep happening and get darker I’ll go and buy another brand. Nothing to do with my cycle is ever the norm 🙈

@Dan521 I’ve only seen constant positive opks when pregnant but not sure how that would work as you’re in the middle of your cycle.

@emmatcc1 I agree. I think If they were detecting pregnancy they would have gone negative after ovulation and then back to positive again.

ive searched and searched the internet and can’t find anything similar. Even people with PCOS don’t seem to have this happen. I wonder if it is just a dodgy batch.

@emmatcc1 maybe worth trying it with your partners urine if possible & then can see if it’s a faulty batch??

Todays temp has put O day back to cd14. If I disregard that high second one in, it puts it back to cd11 which is the day I got the peak.

Ovulation is the day before the temp rise

@Dan521 I think this looks more accurate now. I’m thinking I ovulated Monday/Tuesday last week. I have been having sore boobs past couple of days and pretty bad cramping yesterday.

I just have no idea what I’m looking at when I look at all these charts. If one half is low and the other half is high then I can see it but when they’re all up and down it just goes over my head

I’ve put todays temp in and it’s took my o day back to cd11 again. it’s driving me mad, was hoping doing this would give me clarity 😭.

@Dan521 It literally makes no sense for that to be ovulation day.

The more I look at my chart cd18 looks like ovulation but I know it’s impossible for that to be true. My guess is I’m 9-10 dpo but then I question why my temps would be so high that late as they’re supposed to be dropping in about 2 days.

@emmatcc1 the only thing cd11 correlates with is I got my peak on that day. I’m still getting “high” opks now though… 10 days of them so far.

have you done a pregnancy test? I’ve attempted bbt in the past but not stuck it out but I did notice my temp doesn’t drop until after af has started. Everything about me is just never textbook. The only normal thing for me is that I have regular 28-30 day cycles. Every thing else is all over the place.

@Dan521 I’m not gonna waste pregnancy tests as I’ve been ttc for 17 cycles now so I rather just wait for af. My temps drop a day or two before af and my luteal phase is 13 days. Currently my cycles are averaging at 25-27 days.

I’ve just had this this morning on a super drug early test. It’s darker and pinker in person, I can’t get it to show up the way it looks in real life because it’s a glossy surface and reflects light. I don’t know whether to get excited or not 😑

@Dan521 well it’s definitely positive, have you done another easy@home it would be weird to have evaps on two different tests.

@emmatcc1 I done an easy@home with the same wee and it was bfn. I’ve just been googling this brand some have had evaps on them. I have a cb early digital but don’t want to waste it if it’s an evap

@Dan521 It’s better to just wait. Even if it’s positive the digital won’t be able to pick it up yet.
