@curliegirlie OMG you got a line!!! I have everything crossed for you. ❤️❤️

ExMrsGrealish · 22/02/2025 18:27

@curliegirlie omg!! On the last cycle too..gentle congratulations xx

curliegirlie · 24/02/2025 08:14

Thanks girls! It's surreal and progression anxiety is unreal. I've reached AF day. This morning's One Step still looks fairly faint though and the LH test from yesterday was negative. I just want to get through this week and start seeing proper dark lines. I might even treat myself to a weeks indicator next weekend if all is still well...

And telling DH was such a relief. I was a touch worried after he'd appeared to get cold feet a few months in, but he seemed amazingly blase when I told him (he'd have been well within his rights to be pissed off, given I've been carrying on for over 2 years without him fully on board). Although I think part of it is that he, like me, can't really believe it's happening yet. And we're both well aware we've got a long road to go down still before we can breathe easily....

TheBirdintheCave · 24/02/2025 14:46

@curliegirlie Your line progression on the Boots test is looking great! :D

curliegirlie · 25/02/2025 19:14

@LuckyMoonstone and how are you doing? Sorry, I had to scroll through the group to remember who you are here 🤣. All still looking good so far. LH tests still negative but actual HCG tests seem to be progressing 🤞.

LuckyMoonstone · 25/02/2025 19:24

@curliegirlie that’s great news, I so hope this carries on the way it’s going 🤞🤞
Im doing well thank you :) 9 and a half weeks now!

TheBirdintheCave · 25/02/2025 23:21

@LuckyMoonstone That's gone so quickly! :O

curliegirlie · 26/02/2025 00:22

@ExMrsGrealish I know there aren't many of us, but I was drawing a real blank trying to remember @LuckyMoonstone's MN username 🤣. Still, nice to have an excuse to scroll back through all the POAS babies 🥰

Is anyone still on this thread? DH and I decided we would try for baby no 3 about three weeks ago 🙈 and I got a positive on Saturday much to my shock. I’ve tested everyday since and there is really no progression even thought maybe slightly lighter yesterday though I am afternoon testing so could be wee concentration. epu are scanning me on 3/10 anyway but anyone had any experience with this? I was thinking maybe a chemical 🤔 I’m taking progesterone so if it is a chemical I presume I wouldn’t bleed until I stopped taking it 🤷🏼‍♀️ top test is Saturday working down to yesterday

Fingers crossed @bringmearainbow- but I know how anxiety inducing test progression can be! I can’t remember if you’re on the FB group, but sadly my pregnancy back in February was not to be and I ended up miscarrying ironically 3 years to the day of my previous miscarriage. But amazingly, given how long all my previous TTC attempts took, I fell pregnant again in May and am now 21 weeks! It still feels unreal, but I had the anomaly scan last week, where we found out we’re having another little girl, and I’ve felt a few movements over the past week.

Who’s the other preggo on the thread? Must be nearly due now aren’t you? I hope everyone is doing well - with your not so little babies!! Xx

TheBirdintheCave · 17/09/2025 23:32

@curliegirlieSo glad to hear about your baby!! That’s so amazing! I’m thrilled it finally happened for you after your long wait! ❤️

@bringmearainbowNumber three! I thought you said you were done too! 😂 Anyway, tentative congrats here!

The stagnating tests are a bit concerning. This happened to me with miscarriage #1, my blighted ovum/missed miscarriage. The tests hovered around the same colour for a few days and then got darker so I knew something wasn’t right from the get go.

I really hope that’s not the case for you though!

bringmearainbow · 18/09/2025 06:37

@curliegirlieawww I’m so sorry about another MC but that’s amazing news about this little one big congrats I’m so glad all seems to be going well. So weird how things turn out sometimes isn’t it.

@TheBirdintheCavehaha I had actually made peace with just having 2 and didn’t think there were anymore babies in our future I even have given away all our stuff up to this point that mine have outgrown 😂 then hubby dropped a bombshell out of the blue at the end of August about wanting another. Last preganancy and obviously getting there was super hard so I said we will give it a go but I’ve given us a year and if we haven’t got a sticky one then that’s it. I don’t want to spend the next 2 years trying and losing again. I think he wants to try for a girl but I did point out it’s only 50/50 😂

sadly don’t think this one is going to work out pretty sure it’s a chemical. Test last night was a real squinter. I’ve stopped meds and hopefully AF will show up in a couple of days. I pretty much guessed it wasn’t good 🤷🏼‍♀️

@bringmearainbowIt’s a promising start though, even if this one sadly is a chemical. Hopefully the next one will be your new sticky bean ❤️❤️

We are still very much done 😅 Childcare is down to base level as M hit 30 hours, G started school and I have my body back which feels wonderful 🥳

curliegirlie · 18/09/2025 09:21

I hate the chemicals/early MCs that keep you guessing. At least with the one day of positive tests which then disappear you know where you stand. I’m sorry to read it’s not looking good and I hope you’ll see that string BFP again soon whatever happens with this one xxx

curliegirlie · 18/09/2025 09:24

@LuckyMoonstonewhen are you due??? Or is baby already here?

bringmearainbow · 18/09/2025 12:48

The EPU were great about seeing me to keep an eye on things and didn’t hesitate to book me in for a 6 week scan so hopefully next time they will be just as good 🤞🏼

@curliegirliethank you hopefully a sticky one won’t take too long 🙈 xxx

@TheBirdintheCaveha I was honestly shocked he suggested another. We’re the same T started school and C is at childminders I’m working part time hours to fit in with school and we discussed only about 5 months ago that two was a good number one each to tackle at a time. I think he really wants to try for a girl which is why he’s suggested it. Tbf it didn’t take me long to get on board 😂 i just don’t want to be trying for ages as im about to turn 40. I just know we will end up with three boys 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️ lord help my sanity xxx

Glad to hear it happened again so quick for you!

LuckyMoonstone · 19/09/2025 06:45

Thanks guys 😁 I will put some pics in the group

LuckyMoonstone · 19/09/2025 08:59

@bringmearainbowgood luck trying for number 3! Sorry you’ve had a rocky start but it’s good that you got pregnant so quickly, I’m sure it’ll happen quickly again and stick 🤞 number 3s always seem to be the easiest to conceive judging by my experience and other people I know!
