We're going away this weekend for my birthday and I'm all for the relaxation 😂 DH has even booked afternoon tea since champers is off the menu 🙊 I dont feel pregnant at all. I'm not even bloated which is so weird for me. Getting a bit of backache the past couple of afternoons and I've had a couple of gagging moments but that's it still probs a bit early for proper pregnancy symptoms though. I can't decide when to go for a scan 🤔

@bringmearainbow Happy birthday! The cream tea will be lovely! Are you staying in a fancy hotel? :)

I think seven weeks is a good time for a scan. Not too long to wait but something will be seen if it's there (and I have every hope it will be!).

It's my wedding anniversary today :) Five years have gone in the blink of an eye!

@TheBirdintheCave thank you ❤️ it was a voucher we got for Christmas last year dinner bed and breakfast. I don't think it's too fancy but it's some kind of golf hotel so I'm hoping for just a nice chill maybe even a little swim. Then we'll come home Sunday and go out for Sunday lunch just the 3 of us which I'm looking forward too. Birthday is Sunday I love a weekend birthday 😂 yes 7 weeks is probably a good shout I'll aim for then it's only a couple of weeks away. I'm hoping that they can do me a nice early scan so I don't have to take any time off work I haven't told them this time it seems the more I've had the more of an inconvenience I am and I just can't be arsed to deal with them🙄 oh my goodness happy anniversary! It goes quick doesn't it! What are you doing to celebrate?

We're having a takeaway tonight and then going for a cream tea tomorrow afternoon whilst my brother and SIL watch the goblin child for us. Then my PILs are taking us for dinner as they're staying over night with us because they're going to Thailand on Sunday and we live near the airport 😅

@bringmearainbow gutted 😔 I was really hopeful although I'm glad I didn't let myself get to excited. We're not getting anymore testing done until February when it's been a year but I think I'm going to give up for a few months now and not track anything

@Angelselevenx it's a good shout enjoy the Christmas period sometimes it's really nice to take a break from all the tracking it can be so deflating. Big hugs make sure you stay in touch though I'm really rooting that it will happen soon for you 😘

MIL asked me how I got on at the hospital tonight I had a momentary panic because we haven't said anything yet 😂 it took me longer than it should have to realise she was talking about the thyroid dr on Tuesday and not me going to the EPU 🤦🏼‍♀️ thankfully I don't think she noticed my confusion 🤣

First blood test has come in at 714 I reckon I'm 5 weeks so that's in range good start 🤞🏼

@TheBirdintheCave yes was lovely thanks got a whole nights sleep where no one shouted mum I don't want my pillow 🤣 ate a lot of food what more could I want 🙊 how you feeling? Your symptoms easing yet?

@bringmearainbow Nausea is definitely getting better. I'm in the bad headaches phase now which I remember with such 'fondness' with G 🙄 13 weeks today so officially in the second trimester!

@TheBirdintheCave ahhh that's amazing hopefully things will rapidly get easier 🤞🏼 headaches are the worst a lady in my office gave me something called 4head last time I had a bad one and it was like a miracle cure 😂 like a stick thing you rub on your head

@bringmearainbow Yesss I had that with G. Maybe I'll ask husband to pick one up for me. You'd think taking aspirin every night would prevent headaches but seemingly not.

@ExMrsGrealish I'm ok I feel really indifferent about it almost doesn't feel real and hate to say it I'm already thinking negatively that it won't progress which I hate doing I'm just not that kind of person 🙈 wish I had a crystal ball 🔮 symptom wise I feel pretty normal tbh wouldn't even know I'm pregnant but heard the steroids can mask pregnancy symptoms and I'm on 25mg this time instead of 5mg so that might be why 🤔 had second blood test this evening but results won't be out until about 9.30 ish. Also had our chromosome testing back this evening on the May MC and frustratingly it was inconclusive there wasn't enough tissue to test waited 6 months for that useful piece of info 🙄

@ExMrsGrealish how are you doing?

@bringmearainbow I get it. You've been burnt too many times. God that's so frustrating with the May MMC 😭 prednisolone does mask the symptoms which isn't that helpful for reassurance. Just gotta keep praying 🙏 Did u decide on a scan date?

Yea I'm ok. I've decided to take a shed load of vitamins. Started omega 3 about 6 weeks ago and have actually ovulated at my normal time!! Hasn't been right for months. On vitamin D, B12 (I need that anyway) methyl folate and magnesium too. Certainly can't hurt.❤️ xx

@ExMrsGrealish yep I'm def feeling very crispy 🙈 I think if this one doesn't work out we might pay for karotyping privately it's the only thing we haven't done I don't think I can just wait another 6 months for them to test the next one. I'll go anytime after 20th which is 7 weeks all depends when they can fit me in at 8am so I can not take any time off work. I haven't told them this time they are being unsupportive. Ahh that's amazing sometimes it just takes a little tweak of vits which can make the difference xx

@bringmearainbow shame on them but glad you're feeling not too bad. Generally for all my good pregnancies I was fine till 6 weeks I remember bouncing down the road to tell my boss at 6 weeks. Back when my reproductive system worked 😂 god imagine doing that now..would NEVER happen
