Room for one more? I have been ttc for 2 years. Had one natural pregnancy, followed by m/c at 9 weeks, then another m/c 6 months ago after a round of clomid. Been on tamoxifen since then and its done nada. My friends are now on their 2nd children in the time I haven't had one

Lovely news about the kitten! I want one!! (And annecdotally, DH went to the hairddressers who told him that her colleague had many m/cs, bought a puppy and had a successful pregnancy).

OracleInaCoracle · 06/05/2009 20:49

hi heebeejeebee, welcome to the hut. sounds like youve been through the mill. what does the cons have planned now?

OP posts:
Heebeejeebee · 06/05/2009 21:30

Hi lissie

Not sure - have another appointment at the end of the month. I'm hoping she might give me another blast on clomid (it was thining my uterine lining too much to take it regularly)..

OracleInaCoracle · 06/05/2009 21:51

got to be worth a try. we see cons on the 18th and im pushing for clomid this time round.

OP posts:
SmilingEi · 06/05/2009 23:26

lissie just a question...(tell me if i am confusing you with someone else) i remember talking to you a while back and you said you have a DS (am i right or getting confused) just because you mentioned you will be asking your cons. about clomid again. do you get nhs funding for this?? its just that i was told by my cons. that due to the fact that i have DD i wont get any funding whatsoever and it seems i am barely Oving and when i do the bfp has a habit of not sticking for very long so clomid would be likely to help me so with it being at least £400 a course the cons said we will have to go private or give up
hope everyone is doing well today
oh and a friend from another thread (and in RL) got a kitten as she was TTC with PCOS and not having any luck and literally within a month of getting the kitten she Oved and get her bfp and had a little boy last month
xx ei xx

OracleInaCoracle · 07/05/2009 15:23

ei, yup thats me. cons didnt say anything previously about having to pay. however, they have messed me up and around so much that now i think they just want me to go away!

Still hard at over 27 weeks pregnant, mate. As I said to a friend the other day, what this malarkey robs you of is innocent hope.
