Aunt flo still hasn't rung the doorbell. She drove past, so perhaps she's just nipping to the shop to get some wine to bring with her.

When she arrives, I'll give her a good kicking in the slats from all of us.

Er, she's late. And i feel a bit queer. And have been thinking she's on her way for a WEEK.

But she did this to me last month, too, and I gave her such a kicking, maybe she's afraid to come back.

I'm usually 28 days, and this is 29. Though last month she showed on day 30. But that was unusual. I'm usually 28.

I've been here before, however. Getting all excited. My boobs are getting less sore, so I think dear aunty is about to get out of the car.

OracleInaCoracle · 17/09/2008 20:23

oh herby, totally against the ethos of the hut, but silently hoping for you!

i finished work 3.5y ago, and this is full time managers role in a coffee lounge for Bhs. i love it!

Aunt status update: still a no show. Think her sat nav must be playing up. Still feel sick. Keep getting that tell-tale backache, but then it goes away.

If I searched mumsnet, there'd be one of these kind of posts from me for about the last 12 cycles. What is it about TTC that turns you into a nutter?

herbaceous · 18/09/2008 13:55

And... here she is. Like a talisman, posting that she's late brings her bustling up the garden path. Trying to look on the bright side, but can't think of anything at the mo.

Only one more cycle to go until IVF, probably, which is frankly a relief.

Me too.,.. i wish the symptoms would be the same each month, though. Every time there's something new, or different, to bring fresh hope/madness.

Oh really sorry herbaceous. At least we are all nutters here together. The pukey thing I was delusional about a few days ago, turns out to be a stomach bug. DD's been puking etc. Thought it was a bit ridiculous to be hoping for morning sickness on CD20.

Anniemac - "I think the start of every AF is implantation" ME TOO! ME TOO! We're such a hopeful bunch aint we?

DH keeps asking me if I feel any different. NO, just the same old hoping, hoping, hoping. It amazes me that some people don't ever experience this. Thankfully (or unfortunately) we a;ll know what we mean (sigh)!
