Wheely I am stalking you. Well done my lovely.

Hello to everyone else. I know I am not allowed in here anymore but I still look in to see how you all are.
Right I'm off before you throw things at me.

I'm so happy I found this gloomy place! Erm, sorry didn't mean to sound so upbeat there ahem. Just bloody relieved to find somewhere to hang out for when one feels naffed off with this TTC lark.

Am 40 and TTC after a MMC in june. Took 18m ths to get pg with my DD and another 18 mths for the miscarried bub. feeling bloody deflated but me n poor DH still having to get it together to try, try again. I can't remember what non calendar driven spontaneous sex is like? Agggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Thanks. Hello to all you other hopers and strugglers out there. I'm here to listen too. x

Hello all

Well, as I've said in other threads, the friend I mentioned 'upthread' got pregnant, first attempt on IVF. Two days ago she sent me a text, bemoaning the fact that it's twins, and that at seven weeks she's excited by anxious. I got home and bawled my eyes out - it just reminds me so much of when I was pregnant, before ALL FOUR of them then died at 10-12 weeks.

I wish she'd realise I am NOT the person to be offloading to. I know she's excited, but how do I say 'shut the fuck up'?

fruitbowl · 13/09/2008 22:06

Herbaceous. REally sorry to hear you've had so many losses. It's so hurtful isn't it, when others are insensitive?

I have a friend who is pg with twins and she's always talkign away 10 to the dozen about it to me - even a few weeks after my MMC. I was so put out, particularly as she'd been v attentive when my MC happened offering to run errands etc but she appears to have ZERO comprehension of the fact that her baby talk might be inappropriate.

I don't know your whole story Herbaceous but could you maybe text your friend saying shut the feck up - er sorry you already thought of that! Maybe say, sorry but baby talk is making you feel upset at the moment?

Hi Shrek - didn't read flippantly - nice of you to say hi.

Me too Anniemac - we so want DD to have a brother or sister and the potnetial age gap is just getting wider and wider she's coming up for 4. How old is your DD?

My heart really goes out to those with no DCs - that must be awful. But isn't it sorrowful when your only child says things like "I don't want to be on my own / play by myself / I want a baby brother etc".

I've been all hopeful this month too: v v sore boobs, feel vile , like I've got a cold coming, had a funny non-headache migraine on Saturday, yada yada, but I can feel that familiar Flo pulling up in her red car at the end of the garden path. I'm just off to punch her in the face.

Agggghhhh! Why can't we stop imagining / hoping for these pg sumptoms. It's a bugger isn't it. I don't even know what day post ov I am (is that what dpo means???) as didn't have clear ov signs and my ov can be anything from day 11 to day 20 so gawd knows! Cycle day 20 today and suddenly felt pukey before tea. Of course immediately think I'm pg and start googling for how early one can get morning sick. We will drive ourselves insane girls!!!!

I'm so hopeful this moth as DH and I actually managed 5 goes of jollies in 10 days which is gold medal stuff in our house!!

Good luck all xx
