Hi Lissie, I haven't posted in the Hutt before, but I sometimes lurk in the shadows if I'm having a rubbish day.... so you've outed me because I couldn't leave your post unanswered!

Dunno what to say except it's crap isn't it, how this whole business warps your feelings about being around people you love dearly.

You know it is normal to feel envious/ sad/ angry around pg friends, in fact you've probably said that to loads of people on here before... doesn't make it any easier though, does it?

Good luck, you've been lovely to me before and I just wanted you to know that someone has read your post and will be crossing their fingers for you tonight. x

My best friend is going through IVF at the moment. It's her one shot at having children as a) she's a lesbian, so this is with donor sperm and b) she can't afford to do more than one go. She had her embryo transfer yesterday.

And such is the awfulness of ftc, that I get a funny sweaty feeling at the thought of her succeeding. After one go. Others I know, with multiple miscarriages, years of trying, are somehow more 'allowed'. Can't possibly let on, of course, though I have said that I may well be very strange with her for a bit if she succeeds, and she says she understands.

Isn't it just horrible, though, the way ftc divides you.

HI guys - long time no see. Hope you don't mind me popping in to let you know that touch wood, fingers crossed I have graduated from the hut. My first cycle of clomid actually seemed to work and I am almost 13 weeks. Just had scan today (Although had a couple of private ones to keep me sane) so beginning to believe it. Anyway, thought I'd let you know in case you see it somewhere else and think I'm rude.

Thinking of you all and really hoping there's some more good news soon.

soosy · 04/09/2008 16:40

Hooray wheelybug enjoy your pg don't worry too much, I know it is hard but I am very very happy to hear your news.

Wheelybug · 04/09/2008 17:04
