hmm well I succombed and did a HPT after my period this month as it too had been really light and I am having HSG so wanted to be sure. BFN obv.

Sooo I have HSG tomorrow and part of me is relieved its finally happening and another part is scared witless.... is it ok ? Tell me the worst - I can take it .

i found mine very uncomfortable, but i did have an idiot doc who tried to force the dye through my tubeless side take some nureofen beforehand, and some slippers and a pad. make sure you ask the doc what they saw and if you can see the xray. you will spot some gunk for a few days afterward and have quite a bit of cramping.

but on the plus side, it acts as a flush and thats VV good for your fertility.

Do you know (oh wise one) if ttc is out of hte window this cycle ? It is CD13 tomorrow and I am about to OV so am assuming even if its safe I'm not likely to feel up to it ?

All fine - had absolutely no pain or discomfort (must be odd) even though the doctor was suggesting I should be in pain (). It's just all so undignified though isn't it. Anyway, she said 'it all looks very good' so that's good....

So, I now have to ring and ask whether I should have my blood test repeated (I was told to have it on day 28 because my cycles can be longish although not that long) and of course AF came next day so I want to make sure they have an accurate test. Then get DH to do his test (sigh) and then start harrassing for an earlier appointment (or just accept the wait and hope something happens in the meantime - ha ha).

thats good news. remember that the HSG acts as a spring clean for your bits too. ikwym about undignified, i cringed the whole time! when is dh doing his test?
