Morning ladies.

AF showed up yesterday 16th Oct Booooo. This is my 9th cycle. Made an apt with GP as I am over 35 and we really tried everything so now need some tests and OH to.
TTC No.2. LO is 2 this month. Was hoping for 2 under 2. But ah well...... We plan but God is the best of planners.

Please join! And hopefully we see some BFPs this month.

@pontipinemum I only use natural cycles so it just gives you a positive and negative when you take a photo of it. But mostly I’ve just been comparing to be honest. I didn’t think I’d be able to get the positive one just cause they seemed to be so light for so long 😂 but as soon as I did it, I could tell it was darker than the other line.

Only problem now is I haven’t been able to DTD 🙄🤦🏼‍♀️ we’ve had family that have been damaged by floods so had to help them yesterday then last night OH was up all night with a bad stomach. So I’ve just got a feeling I’m going to end up missing this month 😭
I’m hoping to try DTD tonight if he’s feeling better.
i was having ovulation pains in my right side last night and this morning so I’m feeling like I’m going to miss it 😔 always bloody something!
we’re not together for most of Nov (due to work away) so then it would be Dec!

Righting myself off before I’ve even had ovulation confirmed 😂

How do you confirm you've ovulated if you don't mind me asking? I use the strips and stop testing when it gets dark and cover the next 3 days xx

@Swirls346 so I use the app Natural Cycles and track my BBT. When I can the rise in temperature it gives me a confirmed ovulation date. I just normally use BBT but it’s the first month of me using OPKs

Hey can I jump on! Been ttc since January 2022 so just nearly at the 2 year mark ;( it's been devastating if I'm been honest watching all my close friends and family having babies, I have a DD who is nearly 5 she's desperate for a little sibling too, anywho I feel AF coming on she's due teusday, in November I will be having a dye test HSG to get a better picture hopefully flush any gunk out because so far it's been unexplained infertility xx

I had my first flashing smiley face on the ovulation test yesterday. I've tested today and have my peak (static smiley).

Surely this can't be right? 😫

This is my ovulation test today the test line is darker than the control line 🤯🤯🤯

Can I join too? TTC no2 for 18 months now (although I have short cycles so we're on cycle 24/25 I should think). No hint of a BFP in that time, DP has low morphology (2/3%) and whilst still in the 'normal' range my progesterone is low (21.4nmol). I'm also 40 and DP older than me so lots of factors against us. I'm mostly resigned to us not having another now and have no expectations of a BFP each month, but do like to see other people's journeys and positive tests ✨

Anyone any thoughts on a pinky/ very light colour discharge?

I'm only in CD13 with ovulation predicted in 2 days. My ovulation sticks are getting darker, it was 0.33 today v 0.14 yesterday so I don't think it can be implant bleeding

@KM8 I saw on the instructions that it can go from flashing - static within 1-4 days so although it may not be ideal it can happen. Last month I started testing late & mine went to circle to static smiley the next day 🤦🏽‍♀️

I am on CD8 today, I got my first flashing smiley yesterday so we shall be BD over the next few days and keeping my fingers crossed! Ovulation seems to be starting earlier for me recently which I am pleased about as my LP was only 9ish days before.

@ReginaPhalange12 that’s good news about earlier ovulation! My LP is about 11 days so on the short side too.

Keeping everything crossed for some November BFPs for us all ladies 🤞🏻✨

@ReginaPhalange12 oh at least if it can happen then with the flashing smiley to static that's ok - I thought for some reason my test was wrong or something! I'm wondering if I have a quick surge?

We had sex yesterday and husband is working until late tonight so going to have to try to make it happen too when he eventually gets home to tonight 😂 just to try to make sure with the peak!

I'm on cycle day 15 today and usually ovulate around day 18 (so this could be correct still with my peak being today) How long have you been trying for?

@pontipinemum the pinky discharge could be from ovulation, when the egg releases there might be a tiny drop of blood

I’ve just gotten a static smiley and my Mira is saying ovulation in a couple of days. The cheapie LH strips are still negative. So hopefully my body follows through with a surge in the next few days and then ovulates!

@Cloclo93 thanks, I found that after lots of googling. I don't think I've ever had that before, well maybe. I hope it's a good sign that I have def ovulated this month.

@Sleepysheepish are you doing 3 ovulation tests daily?

What pre natal vitamins are ye taking? I'm just taking the boots own brand ones. I will probably go with Pregnacare Max if I get pregnant.

Is clomid only on prescription? If I don't get pregnant this month I think I will ask the GP about it. I'm convinced I didn't ovulate last month since my LH spike was so low

I have been trying since the end of July. How long have you been trying for?

@ReginaPhalange12 we've been trying since three end of July too! Not sure whether I'm just completely imagining it, but I feel like I've actually had ovulation symptoms (a light cramping feeling) this month which I haven't noticed before.

It sends you crazy symptom spotting doesn't it!

@KM8 I was convinced I had ovulation pain last cycle. You do be checking everything. The ovulation bleeding is a new one for me but I am hoping it's a good sign. My LH is finally getting high, it is 0.96 today so better get at it tonight!

@pontipinemum oooh that's promising though with the bleeding as I've read it can burst tiny blood vessels when the egg is released.
Haha I'm clearly overthinking it all again (especially if you felt it last month and weren't pregnant) maybe I'm just imagining it!
My hubby worked late last night (it was my first peak day) and so we didn't get chance to DTD last night.....I may have had a sulky moment to myself! But we managed to do it this morning....I'm just hoping we may have caught this time, but not holding out much hope so I'm not too disappointed 😫🤯

@KM8 im in same position! Got my peak on Saturday but with illness didn’t get chance to DTD till yesterday night. I’ve already convinced myself I’ve missed it 😂

i was defo having ovulation pains on Saturday night. Aching pain in my right side and right leg strangely?
app should hopefully confirm ovulation today then back to the dreaded TWW!

@Mama09876 hope you're feeling better soon! Got my peak yesterday and my app says it's ovulation day today....had a few symptoms of ovulation but not sure if I'm just imagining it all.

How long are your cycles usually? Mine are 30 days. Sending much love for the TWW!

@KM8 we’re pretty much at the same stage of cycle! My app says ovulation today as well.
I bet you probably are having symptoms! I tend to have worse ovulation symptoms but no AF symptoms 🤷🏼‍♀️

My cycles use to be about 28-31 days but after having my 1st they’ve shortened. Past 3 months they’ve been 26 days.

@Mama09876 ooh how exciting! Mine were a bit all over the place after coming off the pill but have settled back into a 30 day cycle although I thought I wasn't due to ovulate until Tuesday (but seem to have got my peak early) so wondering if my period will arrive earlier than usual?

Hi all, first time posting on this forum.

TTC Child #2. Turned 30 last month.

DC is 18months in a few weeks so feels like a good time as they're grown and if I'm pregnant from this point onwards I will be entitled to occupational maternity pay.

Period came one whole week earlier than usual On 20th Oct (cycle is usually circa 28days) - hopefully a coincidental blessing in disguise to start slightly earlier - but never experienced such a shift in my cycle before.

Slight trepidation that this time around may not be as straightforward last time (conceived 1st attempt). Had an emergency C-section when DC was overdue - and keep hearing anecdotal stories of how in some people fertility is not the same after this surgery.

Based on when projected ovulation period, we will be on holiday, and on ovulation day/evening flying back to UK. We'll be in a small hotel with DC, so I'm anticipating there won't be a lot of opportunities to DTD - so I'll bring ovulation sticks as a precautionary measure.
