Morning ladies.

AF showed up yesterday 16th Oct Booooo. This is my 9th cycle. Made an apt with GP as I am over 35 and we really tried everything so now need some tests and OH to.
TTC No.2. LO is 2 this month. Was hoping for 2 under 2. But ah well...... We plan but God is the best of planners.

Please join! And hopefully we see some BFPs this month.

Hi everyone I think I’m out for this month but still keeping every finger and toe crossed. Cycles vary so much I never know if I’m late and I’ve never been able to get in the hang of OPKs so no idea if/when ovulated. Currently on day 36 with period expected tomorrow on Clue app (last month was day 43 so who knows). Endo + PCOS.

feeling so glum. The symptom spotting and PMS/early pregnancy signs being interchangeable is really getting to me. I don’t know whether to just test now and get it out of my head for this month or if it’s too soon. Feel like breaking into tears at any given point. Irritable and achey and breathless and tired and sensitive.

@DanisEndo Endo/ PCOS sounds so tough. I did have crazy unpredictable cycles before having DS. If you have cheap ones I'd do a test. Which OPKs do you use? I have easy at home and use the pre mom app. I have an alarm set on the app to do the test every day at 12pm and upload the picture of the test to get the reading. I tested every day of my cycle last month just to see.

Morning ladies - I'm back again too...

CD 12 and got a flashing smiley yesterday on CBOPK.

Decided to DTD every other day until get static smiley, then DTD 2 days in a row.

Though sometimes I've got flashing smilies for days and it's quite variable what day I get it. (Last month it was CD18 when I'd pretty much given up on the whole process).

I've had to inform OH it's going to be a busy week to get him on board, as usually our timing is poor due to it being down to me to instigate!

@123456789ss the CBOPK is driving me nuts 😅 I wish DH was down for every other day and then two in a row….unfortunately I have to pick my two best days and beg, borrow or steal to get him on board 🤪 I’ve had three days of flashing smileys already and my strip OPKs are blank still so I suspect ovulation is at least four or five days away.

So I’ve taken your advice and used a cheapy…… do you see what I see?!?!!?

Same, completely blank on the cheap OPKs so kind of feel like I'm wasting putting in the effort to DTD now!
Every month i regret not pushing for more scheduled DTD though, so decided to take charge this month - let's see how that pans out though....!

AF finished yesterday so we're getting back on the horse next week.

@Sleepysheepish @123456789ss I’ve been having such faint lines on my OPK but yesterday evening and today are the first time it’s getting darker! First month using OPK and I was ready to give up 😂 but it’s only just getting darker 3 days before due to ovulate so I’d say stick at it ladies and hopefully closer you get you might see it get darker?!

Thinking about trying for baby number 2 as well, thought we would start at the end of the year but I'm feeling a bit broody again so thinking we will just go for it! DC will be 2 just after Christmas. Periods just finished so due to ovulate next week.

I started taking folic acid in September but noticed Google says ideally to take 3 months before TTC. Has anyone else only been taking it for just under two months? Not sure whether to hold off or just go for it and see if it happens first time or not!

@Optimistic2021 I’ve only been taking it on and off (when I remember) for 2 months! I’d just go for it. Some people get pregnant out the blue having not taking anything and everything was fine.

@Optimistic2021 I wouldn't worry about that. Plenty of women aren't even taking it when they get pregnant because baby isn't planned.

I’m 1DPO today… here we go with the symptom spotting and waiting 😬 this is the worst part for me I think. Feels like a countdown to disappointment and I don’t like not having any control over what happens now!

How many days of flashing smiley high fertility do you get before peak fertility (static smiley)?

I've been testing since Tuesday and had negatives but today got my first flashing smiley!

@KM8 this month I had four but previously I had three. I think they claim that it picks up on your levels the more you use it. I’m not sure how though as it’s such a small plastic thing 😂 I did not hide the lines on the stick getting darker and much darker they day I got a static.

Do ye think it is possible to be having too much sex? I had said we'd BD every 2nd day until I got my peak. But DH was interested this morning so we did. But not a whole lot came out of him, we had had sex yesterday too.

@pontipinemum we tend to BD quite a lot running up to ovulation then burn out and lose the will to go on at ovulation/after ovulation lol! I need to figure out a way to keep our energy and willingness up haha 😅

@HRHXO I know, we dtd a lot last cycle, although stopped after peak day. I think I will keep going a few more days this time. I wonder if we missed it. I'm still on anti depressants from PND but I am meeting the GP next week. They have nuked my sex drive. But that could also be toddler/ work/ house/ life!

@KM8 most people get 4 or 5, I’m currently on day 5 and expect to keep getting flashing smileys for around 9 days. My longest was 14 days.

I'm going to join for a bit of support! First child is 2 in dec and conceived via IVF. Really hoping to conceive naturally this time and by some miracle we had a chemical this month so our first ever natural conception. It's knocked me around a lot 8 days heavy bleeding so now I'm anaemic.
But onto trying again and this will be cycle 6 but cycle 4 of properly tracking ovulation.
I'm cycle day 8 today. Not sure if I'll ovulate as normal or later because of the chemical.

Finally got my positive LH! BBT rose slightly this morning as well! So expecting ovulation to be confirmed in the next couple of days! DTD tomorrow and hope for a November positive!

@Mama09876 hope it all goes well!! Do you just compare them day to day or upload them to the app? Mine are still really low on CD12 I go a reading of 0.14 today.

I got another flashing smiley on the CB this morning…..my Mira says my estrogen has risen, so hopefully that will mean it will continue to rise for a couple of days and then I’ll have my LH surge right around CD19. I’m not counting on it tho!

I’ve been feeling all around rubbish and glum the last few days, not sure why.
